I think the point is that he was surprised by the branding.

I am thinking, even in the development branch the branding should not be
included.

Your version is in the development tree for testing and input. Is that
okay or shall I pull it down?

Re: [qmailtoaster] Toaster Migration

2020-04-30 Thread rtartar
Ok, found the issue. My Outlook client was literally deleting all of my
emails. After it did that, I went out of the inbox and back in and they
all downloaded again.

I still could not get my email on my android to add the account or modify
the account. I'm able to do it now on my private network in test
environment. I add with IMAP SSL Accept all Certificates, Outbound is 587
with TLS.

Changing the ip address to the public IP address shouldn't cause any
issues after looking @ the firewall rules.

Re: [qmailtoaster] Toaster Migration

2020-04-30 Thread Bill Silverstein
My guess is that you don't have your ports on the firewall set up. This is
because Webmail tends to use 127.0.0.1 for the imap access.

To test this use telnet from a terminal window on your server on ports 143
and 993 and see if they connect. Try from your client machine. Then if it
does not, try from the server on your external ip address. If that fails,
try 127.0.0.1 from your server.

This will tell you what rule needs to be changed.

I would also suggest only using secure imap access.

So you were using Courier before?

You can log in to Squirrelmail but using an IMAP client like Thunderbird
doesn't work?

My issue that I am having is that Dovecot is not my server and doesn’t
seem to be working after the migration.  Webmail works, but none of my
clients will login to imap.

Help.
