Would have been easier to find if the page had somewhere mentioned "MicroEd". So one would naturally assume that these commands are common for both MicroEd and the HTML Editor... but they are not. It seems that they probably only work with MicroEd. Perhaps those instructions were written before TB offered any substantial HTML support. Okay, less of a black hole now. But where can I configure things like sound confirmations or whatever that noise is when I press Alt+L or C or R? Maybe someone would want that? Or maybe it is just a bug, because the Ctrl commands seem to work silently. -- jaywalker Windows 10 Pro The Bat! Frankly, I was not even sure it is a bug until just now. For all I knew, it was just a problem on my computer or it could even have been by intent. I very much like MicroEd, but almost everything about it is a black hole for me. Like I implied in my original message, there is hardly any documentation regarding the editor... list of keyboard commands?... any settings (beyond that inadequate page under Preferences)? IMO, much more could have and perhaps should have been done with this feature of TB. -- jaywalker Windows 10 Pro The Bat! I'm not sure if this is even a possible explanation, but could it be that Alt-L on your system is also assigned to an event in: -A filter in the Sorting Office (see Options tab on right-hand side for hotkey assignments). Or to: -An entry in Options | Preferences | Other Options | System Hot Keys? 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Unwanted sound
Hi all, For some time I have noticed that every time I use Alt-L in MicroEd to reset the flow of a paragraph, the Windows system sound (Windows Background.wav) plays. This is quite annoying. The Alt-L command works as expected, but the sound suggests there is a problem of some sort... and it is just irritating to hear each time. Can that sound be disabled inside TB? Is there a setting/preference to accomplish that? (And, by the way, where does one find a list of current keyboard commands for MicroEd?) -- jaywalker Windows 10 Pro The Bat!
