Every Mac owner should have the application GraphicConverter. Go to http://www.lemkesoft.com and download it for free. Use it, you'll love it, then pay the $35 bargain shareware fee. GraphicConverter does not list .mix files as a format that it works with. However, page 323 of the manual state
