without opening a web browser?
Have looked at moose.
Any ideas?
Cause if I present a good solution my friend might consider asking me

get the covers right.
Any hints on getting album art would be apreciated as well.

Don't get me wrong. SC7 works OK for a blind person but is it sexy by
the looks?
How to dress the baby to enhance it's sex apeal?

Would be very helpful for blind people as well.
We would need to have the track piped through an external app which
would perform the mixing.
ecasound under linux would be able to do it in batch mode I guess.
What sort of speech engine do you use?

like SC7 for it's possibility to be adapted to taste and because it
is open source based on standards like html/perl which makes things
quite accessible for me. But SC7 always has a taste of a hackerish sort
of feeling.

turn on the Marantz in one way or an other?
Is there any one knowing the f.c.b.s. better than me out there? Felix
or anybody else what does the power switch II plugin exactly
electrically? What is send via the ir out?
Thanks Jeronimo

Hello Felix,
I didn't find a d-bus remote in on the back of the Marantz. Just found
the f.c.b.s. in and out respectively.
Ir-Blaster could somehow be complicated for it may not be possible to
find a config file for ir blaster.

Hello,
just a question... I am perfectly satisfied with ss 6.5.4 and since it
needs a bit of work to port sc7.0 to the Thecus N5200 I wonder how and
if I can use the latest firmware for Tp with ss 6.5.4 since it is
supposed to solve some problems.

Anyone tried the Eva 8000 of Netgear? From what I read it has good
interfaces and plays videos and stuff just using smb/cifs indexing the
library itself. That looks like a good solution if you already have a
server box sitting somewhere remote.

Just to become serious again.
I see two possibilities:
- using ethernet and then shutting down wifi by firmware (implement it
Logitech!)
- or removing the wifi-mini-pci module from the unit (which apparently
people have done

Try hardwiring everything for a test. If you still getting drops you've
got a software problem if not well wifi sucks!
Hard wiring my setup really made administrating my home network far
more easy.

might not be a good idea.
The jumpers are arranged in a left to right sort of way. That means
there are two rows of jumpers running from beneath the left channel to
the right.

Yep, helps. Definitely. One thing to clarify though. The jumpers are not
of the sort we know from ide drives are they? The are much bigger
standing out by 1/3 inch or so. Right?

If lame is not installed it won't work. Go to player settings for the
specific player and check if lame is installed under audio. If not
install lame and try again. Sorry if you did try that but it looks like

if one polishes the cli a bit one can do all sorts of things with it.
Thanks kdf.

I think phase inversion takes cpu power and your hardware might be
underpowered and thus drop some samples? The firmware of the tp is
updated with new slimserver versions. So as you upgrade to 6.5.4 for
example you'll end up with firmware 31.
