Indeed yes Tom, I'd love a single starship commanding game, in fact I'd
personally rather go for that than the real time stfc as well (especially if
it was possible to have user created missions as in lw).
Obviously, even if you replaced all the lw sounds with trek ones, the game

Hi,
STFC is a turn based strategy game where you get to command a fleet of 5
Federation starships against Klingons, Romulans, Cardassian, and Borg ships.
A more detailed description can be found at
http://www.usagames.us/stfc.php

Hi,
STFC stands for Star Trek Final Conflict. It was my first game I wrote,
and it can be found on my web site
http://www.usagames.us
Though, the download pages are currently down do to some revamping and
work on the web site.

Hi Dark,
I Could probably mod Lonewolf to sound quite a bit like a Star Trek
game, but there still would be some elements that would not fit well
into that theme.
Perhaps when MOTA and Raceway are no longer an issue perhaps I can write
a Lonewolf style Trek game where you command one ship carryi

Hi Dark,
Absolutely correct. STFC is TNG era, specifically the time period
between First Contact and Inserection, and Trek 2K is TOS era.
However, while Trek 2000 is original series the sounds are not really
authentic. Some sounds have been taken from TNG which makes it sound a
bit weird. Especi
Hi Shaun,
I hate to burst your bubble but you are way off track. STFC is not,
never was, an original series Trek game. STFC takes place sometime after
First Contact, and before Inserection. Ever notice the Enterprise is NCC
1701-E, the Sovereign-Class version, as seen in Star Trek 8, 9, and 10?

well tom, it sounds great, I'll look forward to playing with it,
there's even a chance it might improve my fairly abysmal Lw playing, ---
though admittedly not much of one ;D.
Will you also be hosting the lw missions beyond 92 as well?
though as I said, thus far the furthest I've got is

Hi Dark,
Yeah, the bells and stuff were taken from the USA Games sound pack for
Lonewolf. I hand created a lot of some of those sound effects for that
pack or found better ones than the ones David had. In fact, I have
actually found some even better sounds, but haven't gotten around to
putting
Hi Ryan,
Sure no problem. I am currently rewriting the download center pages and
I can add the USA Games LW sound pack to the new download center when it
is completed.
