I don't know about the 62" Warp but my three blade 54" weighs in at 1974gms
for the hub and 842gms for each of the blades. Total is 4.32 kg or only 9.5
lbs. I just replaced the Warp blades with Aussie Bollies (similar to Kool
blades) which turn the other way due my new gearbox. These are 60" yet we

That sort of sounds like the prop tips are going supersonic?

The fuel venting problem was solved by not filling the header too full. Now

I know I shouldn't respond to this but to suggest that the United States
is responsible for saving Great Brittan from the Germans is just wrong.

Are you being apologetic for being American and for being from the country that
saved that country from falling to the Germans?

NetHeads,
My wife recently bought me a gizmo to weigh my bag before I come back over from
here (I didn't want to bring my 10-pound 400 lb scale that I bought for weight
and balances), and it's only $15-$20 (at least that's what you would admit).
Last night I was trying to figure out what else

Hi Netters,

Pete was correct about how the Ivoprop works, the blades are twisted
spanwise to reduce or increase the pitch of the prop. As Mark L. pointed
out, this is what is required to make a really efficient prop. So in
theory, the Ivoprop can be a very good option. Unfortunately, they have
never solved
I'll also add on to what Mark has said.
I'm considering an in flight adjustable prop but after careful
consideration I decided not to go with the IVO because of the way it
performs it's task. The IVO in flight adjustable prop varies the pitch
by warping the blade. The base of the blade is fixed
The thing about ground adjustable props is that they are not the magic
bullet that one might think. The blades still have a fixed amount of twist
in them, and simply rotating the blades around in their sockets doesn't
really change the "washout" on the blades from root to tip, it simply
