hello all,
installing sgd 4.2 on a solaris 10 non-global zone is not discussed in
the installation manual, nor it is mentioned in the newsgroups/forum so
i decided to try it out - well it works great and i am very happy with
the solution!
my test system is a Sun LX50 server with solaris 10 3/05 (x
users
- Mainframe Connectivity: 100 users
- Windows Connectivity: 100 users
- AS/400 Connectivity: 100 users
- Security: 100 users
- Advanced Load Management: licensed
- Directory Services Integration: licensed
- Portal Integration: licensed

the same machine but had to remove it due to lack of memory... now i
have enough memory... but strangely no connectivity :)

well the problem persists - it seems not to be related to the SGD Web
server port change since if i only stop the SGD Serevr
(/etc/rc3.d/S90Tarantella) network connectivity gets restored.
if that matters... the machine's ethernet card is a build-in "Broadcom
Corporation NetXtrem
us 4.2.9xx versions.

work when accessing the SGD server from a Mac OS X (10.6.2) client. this
problem affects both terminal and X aplications.
