Choose to remove disk using right click and eject.
On screen message reported that the system was "Writing data to storage disk".
However the CD is a WORM device, so this is untrue.

It's true, KDE doesn't have GUI for doing this. But this is cause
printing.kde.org stoped developing 4 y
I just wanted to say that this has happened to me also. It appears to be
a product of when evolution is 'Storing Mail' (according to the bottom
left status bar) and is unexpectedly shut down. I am more than willing
to work with anyone to help debug.

I tried another desktop recorder: "byzanz". It worked very well so I
attached the file ! Now you can see the bug in action ! :-)
Just a note about the file though... it is not recorded as a "video",
but as an "animated" GIF file. The "eye of Gnome" doesn't read animated
GIF files sadly
I can confirm twhat mvandeg is saying. Frequency scaling does not work
in Edgy Kernel 2.6.17-7.20 generic.
When I try to manually scale the frequency /proc/cpu still reports the
same CPU speed. I have a dv2000t with an Intel Core 2 Duo (2.0ghz).
