Michele,
I have exactly the same machine as you have, same driver and, of course
the very same problem. My syslog also seems a photocopy of yours. I have
not so far done a clean install because everything else seems to be
fairly right for a beta and this is, so far, the only "badly mutilating"
bug
Hi, same problem here. I'm using ndiswrapper and the neti2220 driver as
wildwaldbiberhirte.
Might it be WPA related? Hardy connects fine to any not-encrypted
network, but fails otherwise.
It was working beautifully in Gutsy.
BTW, I 've also tried 2 different external usb wireless sticks and they
Right on! Thank you KeKc, it worked!

Right, I'm seeing this happening since I've udated to kde 3.5.9 and
still in Gutsy.
I'll try removing the "Automatically mount" option and see it it solves
it.

> There's a symlink from "dolphin" to "d3lphin"
Aw, right!
I tried the d3lphin.mo linked above, but it doesn't make any difference
this time.
And console still says:
:~$ dolphin
d3lphin: ERROR: translation of "1 Item" doesn't contain 2 different plural
forms as expected
d3lphi
I'm getting again the same error Alessandro is. It did go away when I
downloaded and manually changed the d3lphin.mo as here advised.
Anyway, the command in the console should be d3lphin. The output is:
d3lphin: ERROR: translation of "1 Item" doesn't contain 2 different
plural forms as expected.
It's now 3 months since I've installed the new 169 nvidia driver and I
had no more freezes since.
About envy, let's put it this way: the script is supposed to do for you
what needs to be done manually. Check with tseliotat hissite

Random NVidia Proprietary
Ok, I have tested OliverP's suggestion and have added;
def is_enabled(self):
"""Returns True if the module is enabled."""
return True
What happens after is that the restricted drivers management window
doesn't appear any more. In a way it's a good thing because
Oh yes, on a closer look the script mentioned on "7300Workaround" might
be needed even when envy has been used. I'll check it soon when I'll be
on the other machine.

HDave, your card is in the same family as 7300, so... welcome in the
club! ;)
I guess getting a driver as from Troy's message should take care of it,
too. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-restricted-

I've done some testing and can confirm that having EN-GB among the
chosen languages makes this "BROKEN TRANSLATION" message to appear.
