Thanks for the information. From a user's perspective, I think all of
these different systems are a bit too fragmented and seem cluttered. Since
there are single systems that can handle all of these functions, it would
be much better for Sofa's users to have such a single system to relate to
For support tickets, feature requests, etc., Get Satisfaction and

Another alternative that works more like a forum, but still has some of
the voting features and such as the two above and that
Hi Asbjørn,
Thanks for your suggestions.
One thing I want to reiterate is that we're not looking for a bug
tracker or a customer support system, we're pretty happy with the way
we have both set up.
We are just looking for something that can host a decent mailing list,

I second the recommendation for Redmine.

We use the vanilla forums for our more power-user support area. It
has pretty good spam filtering by using recaptia. My only issue with
it is it is still a bit of a moving target, and every time I spend the
time to theme it match our site it gets broke in the next version.

Not really an expert on these things, but what about Yahoo? Used it a

communities that use them are unwilling to contemplate migrating to anything
better). I find the spam recognition features capricious. The file
