Once you select the navigation unit flick back to the play button and flick up
and down to move by the navigation unit you selected. If you flick past the
navigation unit selector there is a position button that you can use to move
back to the beginning

I assume you are talking about Bookshare books; find the button on the left
side of the screen that says, headings, bookmarks, and highlights and double
tap.
You will now have a list of headings vertically down the page, find the one
that seems to be the introduction, first chapter, whatever
