Re: [AI] Talkback not getting suspended with volume keys
Avichal, Try pressing volume up and down keys together for at least 4/5 seconds. If it does not work, you will require to check direct access under advance setting of accessibility . Set volume up and down key as direct access to turn on or off Talkback in your mobile device. Re: [AI] Making of a WhatsApp group containing all the members of the access India mailing list
I endorse your opinion. By creating such group on whatsap or instagram, we will lose the significants of a mailing list. This would be a tedious practise to post long and detailed messages using mobile devices. You cannot enjoy the writing on mobile device which you do enjoy using your PC. Beside this, it would be an extra burdon on moble to clutter with so many voice notes and chats. This list contains almost 1000 subscribers and, you may not accommodate every 1 from this list. Re: [AI] Making of a WhatsApp group containing all the members of the access India mailing list
Absolutely not. AccessIndia has its identity on e mail and whatsapp cannot accommodate us all in a single group. Moreover I believe whatsapp cannot enhance better communication standards"" as alleged, on the other hand, whatsapp has devalued them substantially. I don't also subscribe to the view that whatsapp is more handy and so on. -Original Message- From: AccessIndia [mailto:accessindia-boun...@accessindia.org.in] On Behalf Of neha aggarwal Sent: 26 March 2019 07:25 To: accessindia@accessindia.org.in Subject: [AI] Making of a WhatsApp group containing all the members of the access India mailing list Dear Axis Indians Greetings hope that all is well This is with reference to creating a WhatsApp group consisting of all the members of the access India mailing list Yes no doubt today emails and of great significance but after WhatsApp has come in I thought it would be better also to have a WhatsApp group in order to enhance better communication standards Please let me know as to how this idea works out and in my opinion there should be a WhatsApp group With regards Sent from my iPhone Search for old postings at: http://www.mail-archive.noclick_com/accessindia@accessindia.org.in/ To unsubscribe send a message to accessindia-requ...@accessindia.org.in with the subject unsubscribe. [AI] Tactile painting
Hi All, Couple of months ago, i had shared a video on my four tactile paintings. Here I am, once again, to share with you all about my fifth tactile painting. It's called "A Tranquil Moment". please download it's image from the dropbox link pasted below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ya36gx5en5h02hy/A%20tranquil%20moment.jpg?dl=0 Description of the painting: It's a man and his dog standing on a green grass and overlooking a blue lake. there's a pinkish orange sunset sky at the far end of the lake. The major portion on the leftside is a tree with red and orange leaves. The tactile elements in this painting are the leaves, the tree trunk, the man, his dog and the grass. So when you touch it, you can actually feel all of them. It's a treat for both sighted and persons with vision loss as it's colorful and tactual. My message behind this painting is that it should be a reminder to people that although one's life is hectic, they should take time to spend doing the things they find peace in. I am visually impaired myself, i thought i'd never be able to get back to painting. but i sure was wrong. All the paintings i did were done by me and certainly i did take help to paint finer areas and for using strong glues like Feviquick. It would be nice to know what you all think of it. Thanks for taking time for reading this. With regards, Aishwarya. Re: [AI] query on icici salary account.
Geting in touch with Customercare of any bank in this regard would not be of any help. Ask your friend to visit the base branch to resolve the issue and produce all the relevant circulars in front of the senior officials. If the problem still persists, do contact me and we will solve this issue. But, we failed to get the facilities such as debit card, net banking and so on. The bank officials are saying him to withdraw the money with the help of the bank manager all the time. Also, we tried to contact the customer care to speak on this issue. But, when we called the customer care, the I v r system asking us to input the debit card number to proceed for further. right! if you want to enjoy accessibility of TV Set in real sense, at present, don't purchase a tv using external settop box. Re: [AI] Is Samsungâ?~s in-house screen reader voice assistant available in all Samsung mobiles?
Hi Faizal, Talkback and Voice Assistant both are Screen Reader applications. Therefore, both applications can not be used simultaneously. Yes, you can activate Voice Assistant or even google talkback independently without any assistance. In Samsung Galaxy A50, Just go to Accessibility and navigate to it's advance setting menu. You will find direct access as a first option under advance setting. You may set Voice Assistant as direct access through volume up and down key or power key and volume up key. Suppose you set direct access to volume up and down key for Voice Assistant, you would be able to any time deactivate or activate Voice Assistant by pressing volume up and down key together. Talkback can also be set as direct access by following the similar way.
