Mr Satish is giving Ayurvedic treatment! You can contact him on the phone
number given. He will send the medicines at the address you gave him. It is not
necessary to visit him! He gives consultation on the phone and also holds camp
at different places in Delhi NCR on Sundays

to any of RP patient who got benefitted of his treatment. But he asked
me to come to Ujjain for taking treatment where I can meet several RP

I found one video on doctor Rishabh Jain's youtube channel where one

Also I found several videos on his youtube channel "Dr. Rishabh Jain"

Dear Vamshi:

I truely appreciate your feedback. If you look at disability as a
physical condition and the kind of challenges it poses, it may not
seem like anyone in their right mind could celebrate or be proud of
their disability. But that’s why I said we should look at it as a
social identity. We shouldn’t be shy talking about it. Unless we come
forward and talk about it in a positive way, we may find it harder to
achieve inclusion and win acceptability. This may not necessarily be
agreeable to everyone, but this is something we should debate in a
healthier way.

The audio description ticket is not available for many of the movies and also
if it is made available, The availability is made significantly long time after
the movie has been launched.
I personally don’t like waiting that long to watch a movie

[AI] Promoting XL cinema app

2019-06-18 Thread Kotian, H P
All

I got this request from the developer of XL cinema app. It is a matter of
concern, this wonderful app is not finding no takers.
Very few persons have used this app. In one hand we crib for inaccessibility
and on the other hand we simply ignore when accessibility is especially worked
on.

Her is message is below. Pl at least provide positive comments on the app start
with. This will be really helping us
Harish.

Hello to all. My name is Dipti Prasad co-founder of xlcinema application.
XLCINEMA is a mobile application which allows users to listen to audio
description track in a live theater while sitting with others using their
headphones. We have done movies like sanju, andhadun, thackeray, raw, etc. For
getting more movies onboard I need your help, if you can please download the
app from playstore/ appstore and write a review demanding upcoming movies such
as Article15, Saaho or any movie which you wish to watch in the theaters.
Please help us in proving the demand for AD track to the producers/content
owners because they believe there are not many people in India who need AD
track. Thankyou very very much inadvance! Click below to download

I found one video on doctor Rishabh Jain's youtube channel where one

Also I found several videos on his youtube channel "Dr. Rishabh Jain"
claiming successful treatment of RP, but the reality is that he gives
steroids which may be harmful to the human body and over all health.
Such medicines seem to benefit in the initial stage, but later on it

Also he has disabled the comments on his youtube videos now, as lots

Lets see if there is any hope of any treatment in the near future.

download and install hindi indica ime version 2 or 3 32 or 64 bit as per
your requirement.

enable it after installation.
on system tray language bar you have to take sighted assistance to enable
hindi remington gail keyboard. once it set, you can type on godrej keyboard
layout if you want to change it to transliteration or other layout, you have
to take again sighted assistance.
in earlier, windows 7 it was fully accessible with screen reader. this
method work in my case. you can try in your system, hope your screen reader
will support or any trick you may find.

[AI] Road Safety and Mobility Training by NAB Delhi - Newz Hook article

2019-06-18 Thread Prashant Ranjan Verma
Tyre maker Goodyear partners with NAB to conduct road safety training in
Delhi for blind people

June 17, 2019

Traveling independently is a major challenge that people with vision
impairments face in India. There are many assistive devices available today
to help overcome this. The National Association for the Blind and
multinational tyre manufacturing company Goodyear have come together to
implement a project in Delhi to spread awareness about this.

At 15 million, India is home to the world's largest population of blind
people. This is a community that is seeking to make its presence felt in the
space of education and employment. The biggest barrier they face comes to
independent travel.

People with vision impairments are among the most vulnerable to road
accidents. This in turn leads to very real and legitimate fears when it
comes to traveling alone, in them and their families.

Recognising this, prominent NGO, National Association for the Blind (NAB)
and leading multinational tyre company Goodyear have come together to
conduct mobility training for blind people in Delhi.

Museums Make Art Accessible With Versions Of Photos, Paintings That Can Be
‘Seen’ By Touch

· The Times of India (Mumbai edition)

· 5 Jun 2019

·

[image: Description:
https://i.prcdn.noclick_co/img?regionKey=sGkXhKumXUUEFQPmEgfhSA%3d%3d]*A{**As
people run their hands on touchable versions of a Vietnam War photograph
(above) at the American Alliance of Museums’ trade show, metal sensors touched
off recordings to explain whose picture they were touching and what had
happened to him*

New Orleans: As people at the American Alliance of Museums’ trade show passed
their hands along the raised figures in touchable versions of a Vietnam War
photograph, small metal sensors touched off recordings to explain whose picture
they were touching and what had happened to him. At a nearby booth was a flat
reproduction of a Van Gogh self-portrait with slightly raised, slicker areas to
show both outlines and how brush strokes swept or swirled within those outlines.

Museums are working to make their collections more accessible for people with
disabilities, said Elizabeth Merritt, vice president for strategic foresight
for the alliance, which represents museums of all sorts, from tiny local
history museums to huge zoos. Hours when lights and noise levels are kept low
for people on the autism spectrum are another example of inclusiveness, she
said, as are websites and apps designed to work with screen readers for the
blind.

Not all touchable art is hightech. The Singapore Art Museum commissioned three
artists to make touchable adaptations of their own works, and plans more.

But tech has a big role. 3D Photoworks, of Chatham, New York, was created by
photographer John Olson to make his work and other two-dimensional art
accessible to the blind and visually handicapped. The company has digital
artists carve out contours for scanned art. After the models are created, small
metal sensors are added to trigger narrations about the work and the figures
within which they’re set.

“I’ve never seen anything like that, where it integrates touch and sound,”
said Sophie Trist, who has been blind since birth. Without audio, she said, “I
wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between a guitar and a banjo .
... If it were only the sound, it wouldn’t be the full picture, either”.

Other high-tech adaptations are 3D models made by the Brooklyn Museum for the
“sensory tours” it has held for years for blind or partly sighted patrons. That
museum also offers tours with headsets to amplify the guide’s comments as well
as tours in American Sign Language.

The Louvre commissioned small low-relief models of parts of its exterior for
exhibits about the museum’s own eight-century history, said Philippe Moreau of
Tactile Studio’s Canada office, which did the work.

Though created to give blind and visually handicapped people a look at flat
art, the works also offered a new view to the sighted.
