Hi,

Has anyone submitted feedback on AIS entries online? I am not able to
do it either with Jaws or NVDA. There is one entry relating to a high
value transaction  in my AIS which do not belong to me and I have to
submit feedback before filing ITR.Ram

Hi,

I order medicine from Pharm Easy.

The medicine delivery is very fast (same day if you place medicine in
the morning). They also offer discounts of upto 23%; thus you can save
lots of money if you have to order medicine regularly.
Medicine can be ordered through their app / through their website and
also over the phone.
I have not tried their app; hence can not comment over the accessibility.
Phone number for ordering medicine is 999229 and 7666120300.

They may ask you to upload the prescription but if you don't have one,
their doctor will call you and you can discuss your problem and he
will write the prescription for that particular medicine.

There is also netmeds.com but their delivery time is too long as they
send the medicine through courier and sometimes it takes nearly a week
to receive it.

Hi,

Me too facing lots of issues with Excel version 13 with Jaws 21.

Whenever I copy contents of a cell and try to paste it in another
cell, the jaws starts behaving strangely.
It won't read any cell contents when I navigate from one cell to
another and just say"Blank". However, if i go to cell edit mode by
pressing F3 the jaws reads out the contents of the cell character by
character.

Hi,

For the past 1 week the Income Tax site was somewhat accessible. The
Efiling tab and service tab were accessible to some extent. However,
since today morning again these tabs have become unaccessible.

Also, the download button for downloading TIS and AIS are not working
and one has to seek help to click these buttons with mouse.

 After log-in I can see the details of my ITR filed for the current
assessment year. Apart from that nothing is accessible. Even the
services tab from where one can download AIS/TIS is not accessible

[AI] Regarding providing doorstep banking facility for the VI

Dear Friends,

Is there any circular issued by RBI directing banks to provide
doorstep banking service to the blind/senior citizen customers?

I have accounts with Yes Bank and ICICI Bank. Both the banks, on their
website mention  they provide doorstep banking to senior citizens and
differently abled customers but when I tried to avail the facility,
both the banks denied such service.

ICICI  Bank refused to provide the service on the ground of risk
involved in collecting/delivering cash.

Yes Bank customer service executives do not even know what is doorstep
banking. Even my relationship manager at yes Bank does not know about
any such facility.

Pls send me circular, if any so that I can take up the issue with the
senior managers.

Has any VI person succeeded in getting 100% claim from any insurance
company? I think being able to secure a health insurance is just 10%
battle won.

I have been struggling with Care Health to get a health insurance for
the past 2 months. Today they informed that they are ready to offer me
a plan with 80:20 ratio, which means if the hospital bill is 1 Lakhs,
they would only admit claim for Rs 8 and balance 2 will have
to be borne by me even for such ailments which have nothing to do with
my eye condition.

The ITR filing for the current financial year will commence in
approximately3 months from now and we VI people will again face lots
of hardships

I still do not find the incometaxindia.gov.in accessible with screen readers.

The IT department claims that returns filed from the new website will
be processed within 1 day of filing. I wonder  whether there is  a
single assessee whose ITR has been processed in  one day.
I filed my ITR in October 2021 andso far it has not been processed.

totally unaccessible with Jaws. I have some older versions of skype
which were somewhat accessible with Jawss but after installing it, it
automatically upgrades to the latest version. Can some one send me the
download link of most accessible version of skype and also tell me how
to prevent it from automatically upgrading to the latest version

Can one type messages/read messages and also check the number of
incoming calls using the inbuilt King Voice?

[AI] Need Talks for Symbion Phone

Dear Friends,

I am on the look out for a mobile phone for my father who has lost
considerable vision due to old age related problems.

A friend suggested symbion phone with Talks since my father would be
using the phone for making/receiving calls and sending/receiving SMS
only.

These days symbion phones  are not available easily butt I was able to
find Nokia E5 on Flipkart.

Please let me know from where I can download Talks software.

If someone has the software, pls send it privately to my mail ID
