[AI] helping hands portal for scribes by Syneza Online Services

2017-06-11 Thread pavan kumar lingam
dear Accessindians
 warm greetings.
please go through the below peace and ask our friends and to get
registered in the portal.
you can also encourage your sighted friends to get registered in the
portal who are willing to help as scribes.
kindly go through the portal and drop me your feedback on my emailID
l.pavan@gmail.com
here gos the peace.
It has been a year since we, at Syneza Technology have started
operations catering to the needs of our clients in a way that has
satisfied them. We are a bunch of like-minded, tech savvy
professionals, who think technology can be leveraged to such an extent
that it can address the concerns the world is facing now. We have been
associated with “MR coupon” for a project and we have developed three
more projects on our own which are cost effective.
Upon completion of one successful year we have come up with an
initiative to help the needy. We found that finding a scribe for a
visually challenged to write the exams is an uptight.
So, we have developed and kept open a portal
“helpinghands.synezatechnologies.com” where all Visually challenged
candidates who are in need of Scribe can register to find a scribe. On
the other hand volunteers who are willing to offer their services as
scribes can register as volunteers.
The Syneza management will get in touch with both the parties (the
candidate and the scribe) for needful action.
We are happy to bring to your notice that the portal also provides
facility to search based on location hence candidates can search
scribes near the location in which they reside.
thanks and regards,

Re: [AI] signature issue

2014-03-05 Thread pavan kumar lingam
Pranav ji I will try to answer the problems that you've pointed out.
1: legislation can be done only if we fight together as a community as
we prohibited ordinance on PWD bill.
regarding stats and number of VI customers that banks have sure I do
agree that its less but still with financial inclusion on cards it
 will only increase.
2. with technology advancing from time to time and that too with much
faster rate I don't think its imposible.
if you say most of the people don't track there mobiles often it will
be our mistake once we receive an SMS containing OTP then there must
be a stipulated time duration before which a VI customer should call a
dedicated number (tolfree customer care number can be used for this)
and input the cheque number along with OTP received so that the cheque
 can be cleared.
3. in case if our mobile is stolen then we can call customer care from
any other mobile/ landline then stop payment of that cheque and block
it temporaryly as we block our debit card/ credit card.

Re: [AI] signature issue

2014-03-04 Thread pavan kumar lingam
dear accessindians warm greetings.
how about making use of OTP(1 time password) for this purpose.
as some of our friends suggested it works if we link cheque clearing
service with our registered mobile number.
these days banks are using CTS system for cheque clearing service so
when ever cheque of a visually challenged customer comes for clearing
there must be an option to generate OTP which must be sent to the
customer through an SMS and then bank employ must call the registered
mobile number and get that OTP and then input it in the CTS system
once the system conforms the matching of this OTP with the 1 it
generated then they can proceed with clearance of that particular
cheque.
thanks and regards,

[AI] regarding scribe guide lines of SEBI officer grade 'a' exam

2013-09-06 Thread pavan kumar lingam
Dear access Indians
Warm greetings
I would like to know if any one on the list going to take SEBI grade
‘a’ officer exam which is going to be held on 15th of this month.
There is a problem regarding the scribe guide lines prescribed by SEBI
one of the guide lines stated by SEBI is as follows.
The facility of a scribe would be allowed only to those PWD candidates who have
Physical limitation to write, including that of speed. In case, such candidates
Qualifies in the online test and is called for interview, at the time
of interview, the
Candidate will have to produce a medical certificate (along with a photocopy)
From an authorized Govt. of India/State Govt. Department/ Hospital to the
effect
that the candidate has physical limitation to write including that of
speed. This
certificate will be required in addition to his/her disability
certificate. The medical
Certificate about physical limitation to write, including that of
speed, should be
Dated prior to the date of online test. At the interview centre, the
original will be
verified and photocopy will be retained by the centre in-charge. Candidates
Without such certificate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

Look at this in spite of submitting medical certificate SEBI is
asking another certificate and that too having a date prior to that
of online exam.
How can a person having 100% blindness write on his own?
What is the point in asking a person who is 100% blind to get a
certificate stating that he / she cannot write on his / her own and
needs help?
I’ve tried talking to HR department of SEBI though they agreed to
accept for a certificate) post dated to online exam) that is only in
words and that too they are saying “you first take the exam and come
for the interview then we will consider”.
Friends what is all this? How to over come this problem?
I request learned members on the list to offer there valuable suggestions.
Thanks and regards,

[AI] andhrajyothi's new website(telugu news paper )

2013-05-21 Thread pavan kumar lingam
Dear access Indians
This issue / problem is of more concern to all those who read Telugu
news papers in general and andhrajyothi in particular.
For the last 2 to 3 years I have been reading this (andhrajyothi)
paper daily on their website.
Recently they have launched new website which replaced the earlier 1.
In this new site it is some what difficult to read news paper and more
over all the items present in print edition are not available in their
website.
Iam willing to pay for E-paper if delivered in Unicode format because
espeak can read it only if it is in Unicode format.
Meanwhile iam planning to write a letter to Andhrajyothi’s management
so in spite of me alone writing the letter it would create more
impact if more people make representation there fore all those who
are interested in making representation please contact me off the
list so that we can proceed further.
On the other hand write to the list directly in case if any one of you
have some other solution and if it can serve the purpose.
Thanks and regards,

[AI] new changes in EVMS

2013-05-20 Thread pavan kumar lingam
Dear access Indians warm greetings
All of us know that after huge struggle election commission of India
(ECI) agreed to make EVMs accessible by placing Braille labels on
them. even this is not implemented in all places.
Now because of abjections raised by some of the political parties and
other organizations on functioning of EVMs ECI is planning to
introduce a new feature known as VVPAT (voter verified paper audit
trial) according to which after a person casts his / her vote a print
out will be issued on a piece of paper which indicates the name and
symbol of the candidate to whom the vote has been casted.
here we visually challenged persons have no way of knowing the
accuracy of our vote since we cannot read the paper so this is the
right time that we step in and ensure that necessary changes like
making EVMs voice enabled like ATMs or any other such changes are made
before new feature is implemented.
There fore I request learned members of this list to throw some light
on this matter
thanks and regards,
