[AI] Private Limited Company formation
Hi all, Need some help regarding company formation. We are planning to form a Private Limited company. I have heard that there are 2 types of partners who are involved in company formation process. Which are those? Does blindness of one of the partners carry any implications? Any help appreciated! Please reply-all so that I can be notified in my regular email inbox. [AI] Eye-D App - Download your Freedom!
You visit your cousin's place. You are shown the beautiful sack that was purchased by your cousin couple of days ago. Enquiring about the store she bought it from she particularly mentions the store to fall on way of your daily commune. And suddenly you realise it would have been lot easier to find if you hadn’t any vision deficiency. Had you been there earlier, you would have walked right in to buy yourself a brand new sack. There you see your independence gone for a toss and dejection creeping in. Why get dejected when there's a chance to be independent? Low vision or no vision isn’t bothersome any more. Even though you are new in the town? Want to know where you are and what's around? Well, you are thinking your friends are there for this. They take you around. But that feeling of independence is still missing. That is why we have Eye-D App especially for Visually Challenged. -Get to know where you are and what’s nearby -Explore what's around you -Find the nearby restaurant or navigate to the nearby bus stop -Try our beta image recognition and read printed text using text recognition -Talk to our developers, suggest improvements, explain your difficulties "Double tap to download your freedom" CLICK https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.gingermind.eyed=en With best regards, Siddhant Chothe Register at the dedicated AccessIndia list for discussing accessibility of mobile phones / Tabs on: http://mail.accessindia.org.in/mailman/listinfo/mobile.accessindia_accessindia.org.in Search for old postings at: http://www.mail-archive.com/accessindia@accessindia.org.in/ To unsubscribe send a message to accessindia-requ...@accessindia.org.in with the subject unsubscribe. Re: [AI] Eye-D Keypad empowers Android Talkback
Hello Shyam Sir, It isn't fake for sure. We are taking preorders. Yes, confirmation emails weren't sent out the first day. But we fixed the email part after getting feedback from facebook posts. Our initial concern was to see how many preorders we get. The design and idea is ready. We will be uploading specs and FAQ's soon looking at responses and queries we have got. Divyanshu, It won't work with IPhone. We are focusing on Android. Frankly, preorders are going to give us numbers. We can use these numbers to convince investers. Manifacturers are already contacted. We need to pour in capital. Capital will come in when numbers are seen. So Once capital is there, production will take 3-4 months. That is the time we are committing rather than overcommitting. And also the reason we call this preorder and not order. Neither have we implementd any payment gateways to take money from consumers. Why to unnecessarily make all of you feel the brunt. We want to make it viable for both buyer, seller and producer. Rahul, We are fixing that for you. the website being javascript enabled, the page content appears as you go on reading the page. I've got in touch with the website team and getting it fixed. The page contents will be shown by default and you won't face this issue. Thanks for your feedback. Aruni Sir, We had planned to contact users personally once their details were acquired in our database. We are now putting in the confirmation email as well. Thanks for showing interest! And yes, we want to bridge that gap you are suggesting. Arjun, Thanks for preordering! Bands are flexible and not elastic. You needn't worry about the grip. Akash, We will be releasing it in market in about 3-4 months. Looking to get good amount of preorders to be able to produce it at viable price. Thanks for showing interest! Shankar Sir, We shouldn't be expecting delays on high-end performing phones as you have listed. We are using Bluetooth LE (AKA Bluetooth 4.0). The classical Bluetooth has 79 channels, each of which has a width of 1 MHz, while the BLE is designed to operate on 2.4 GHz ISM band using 40 channels, each with a width of 2 MHz. This event not only awarded 3 best ideas but what I like most is a full batch of 60 students of MBA course of Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (a knowledge partner of this project) got well sensitized about persons with blindness through this unique project. There were 10 V I participants who presented their ideas with team of 6-8 management students with each V I to present business idea with ROI and break even. At final stage three ideas got selected by eminent juries from financial sector, handicapped finance corporation and corporate leaders. Management course professors were equally involved in this project. Hi all, Hardware keyboards although seem history, are still out there in the market. Even for sighted users, hardware keyboards are equivalent to improved productivity. Touch-screen smart phones affect our efficiency in expressing and interacting freely with the device. [AI] Surveys are boring, aren't they?
I agree with you if you have opened this email just by reading the subject. Because all I wanted to do so late in the night was to go to bed as fast as I can. but I can’t do that with ease as I need to share this email from my PC and cannot share it over my smart phone. Touch-screen smart phones affect my efficiency in expressing myself freely. Re: [AI] Fwd: eSpeak Voice Quality Survey
Thanks a ton! I'm currently involved in a project which calls for efficient TTS for regional languages. Starting with Marathi and Hindi as our choice, we will have a good set of feedback for ESpeak developers. With such eager developers working on ESpeak, I am quite sure fixes will come in fast. By the way, I'm also looking to get involved into addressing basic touch-screen phone accessibility. Not in terms of reinventing the wheel but suplimenting whatever is out there to improve productivity using such devices. I'll follow this email with that as well. But in case you need to do something about it, say like sharing it in media, even for that, I think you should have his ‘no’ reply in writing or in mail. You can still go to media if you have a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding), an agreement signed generally at the time of token payment. And buddy, buying a house was very enriching experience for me too. So invest time and have more than 3 shortlists. You will feel confident to negotiate and won’t feel cheated. Last one, if at all you really want that house only then offer him to do the actual agreement with your dad or bro or anyone. You will still be able to raise funds as a co-applicant. Hi Have you drawn any contract of sale or agreement deed? If you have made any, prior to your full settlement, then you can approach court, on the basis of breach of contract. On 3/16/15, sidnc1986_gmail sidnc1...@gmail.com wrote: Hi all, I'm currently trying to buy myself a house in Pune. I have my loan sanctioned (pre-aproved). I have been searching properties and visiting them since December 2014. Back in January 2015, I was about to freeze on one but there were broker and owner identity issues. I learnt a few valuable lessons during the first pursute before I backed out of that. Later I kept my search on and tried to find properties directly offered by individuals keeping brokers out of picture this time. I found one property at a very nice location. After talking with the owner and having interacted with him more than a couple of times, both of us (me and the flat owner) agreed on a price. The owner visited my office to verify my authenticity. I showed him my Loan Sanction letters as well. He had a call with the bank representative to get his queries resolved. Today morning he called me up to verify whether I have a blindness certificate and any proof of me being a valid customer of the bank. Before I went to office, I rushed to bank to obtain any sort of identity documents so that I could prove the owner my worth. Ultimately, when I felt I had almost had him convinced, he called me back in afternoon and said that he doesn't want to sell the property as I am blind (his advocate and his son from US suggested him so). This is something I find extremely weird and annoying. If he has another offer better than mine, that's fine. But to put forth my blindness as a reason not to sell the property is not right. I don't want to run behind such a thoughtless individual again. But before I part, I would like to make him realise that it is not a right thing to treat people this way. I am thinking of putting this story in media. Any better ways that all of you can suggest for handling this scenario? I remember hearing about an app on Android that uses the phone's camera to determine the pulse rate of an individual. If they are reliable enough for emergencies, then I don't know whether are any accessible versions out there. This can be useful as far as health is concerned. It means we should not lock our houses when unmanned coz robbers know of breaking locks. Also, the CAPTCHA is generated using randomization logic which ensures that the same word or phrase doesn't go to two different requestors of the page. It's not for user or card protection rather it's for the web site to identify that the request is coming from a genuine human user and not via some robotic program or script. Some of the consequences of a site not being able to filter out robotic attempts include: 1. The server becomes too busy serving malicious users. 2. Requests from genuine users take too long and may even time out. 3. Server hangs due to resource over-utilization and becomes non-responsive or even unavailable. 4. Data loss and inconsistency How can this inability of a site to filter robotic attempts impact end-users? 1. The user is transferring money to someone via NEFT, he feeds required data stepping through various steps and upon confirming the transaction details receives a server time-out. What an annoying experience would that be! 2. The user is shopping on a site offering heavy discount for an hour, he selects the product, keys in the quantity and other preferences and proceeds to make payment. The transaction fails due to the bank server being heavily loaded. He attempts again and finds the shopping site unavailable for long. What a dissatisfying experience would that be! Again, the above listed scenarios may not be experienced everyday but the ones who experience them really feel horrible and may tend not to continue using such sites. Definitely CAPTCHA is not the only way of blocking malicious attacks from bots and scripts, the sites can devise better mechanism to handle such incidents with a little brainstorming on alternative ideas and innovation. Hope the above explanation is sufficient to understand that CAPTCHA have a purpose to serve for the sites implementing them and better alternatives do exist. The primary issue with CAPTCHA for us is that they are mostly inaccessible and even modern browsers do not have an in-built mechanism to solve them thus making us think that sites should get rid of them. Re: [AI] what is uniCode and why screen reader work only foruniCode texts?
To understand what ASCII is, in any MS Windows system, within Notepad, try keystroke combination ALT+[NumPad numbers upto 127]. You will discover that numbers between ALT+48 and ALT+57 are digits we use. Numbers between ALT+65 and ALT+90 are capital alphabets. And finally, numbers between ALT+97 and ALT+122 are small alphabets. These are the characters produced with ASCII is an encoding system using 7 bits to represent a character. In scripts like Japanese, Devnagari, etc the number of characters of all scripts is so high that you cannot fit all of them within about 128 representations (using just one byte=8 bits). Unicode system uses 2 bytes (16 bits) for representing characters and hence allows to accommodate wider range of scripts. Hope this proves to be useful. Question 2: Difference between unicode UTF8 and UTF16? Answer: I earlier have explained that letters converted in numbers, numbers in zero and one. The zero is taken as switch off no supply of electricity) and one is converted as switch on supply electricity). Finally every things is converted into how many times on the switch and how many time off the switch. Take a real example: 65 is the code number of the English capital letter A. If we convert the number 65 into one and zero (binary number) it becomes 101 Count the number of zero and one here. There is one at first and at last and rest are zero. The total digit is seven. It means switch the first one, switch off the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and switch on the seventh. That is capital A. This is only background information for your question. Then what is utf-8 and 16 etc. This is the span of a binary number. Take an example: you can write one as 1 01 001 0001 1 01 What is the different among these numbers? In value all they are one but in digits they are different. 01 is two digit and 01 is six digit. Now go to back again. each letter of each language of the world have an unique number called the uni Code. English Capital has the code 65 but my Nepali ka has 2325. if both letters converted into zero and one (binary number); A is 7 digit and my ka may have 12 digit and perhaps your Kannada ka may have sixteen digit. Now if we want write all number of equal digit say sixteen; we have to add nine zeros in front of English A and four in front of my ka but no thing to add in front of your ka. In brief, it is a process of maintaining the number with same digit. If it is smaller than the set span, zero are
