[AI] How to stop iPhone from shifting output voice to speaker while on call

2013-05-15 Thread ss sarfudeen
Hello,

I have experienced the same problem and did check with an iPhone
technical expert who told me that it is a default feature of the
iPhone and no change can be done to this. When this problem arises, ,
you only have to shift the phone closer to your ear back again.

Sultana

iPhones have a sensor that detects if someone is having the phone
closer to their ears or away depending on which it turns on the
speaker phone. Either you should keep it to the ears or wear the
headset.

Re: [AI] How to stop iPhone from shifting output voice to speaker while on call

2013-05-15 Thread Sagar Sodah
Reading other replies, i guess i should explain a little more.

Firstly, this is perfectly normal, nothing abnormal in it.

When on a call the phone screen either has the keypad, or has six buttons.
Three on top and three below. The one on top right, is the Speaker option
which would have been selected if your speaker starts suddenly mid call.
You can simply select and tap it to switch it off.

As Rahul said, you can simply pull the phone away and take it back to your
ear. It is the fastest way to get back to handset mode.

Hope this helps :)

As far as I know, there's no way to disable the speaker mode. Whenever
this happens, I take my phone away from my ear and then bring it back to my
 ear. That usually fixes things..
 Hope that helps.

Re: [AI] How to stop iPhone from shifting output voice to speaker while on call

2013-05-15 Thread Sagar Sodah
About wearing the headset, one difficulty i have faced is the phone goes on
'Speaker' mode. That is the output of voice comes in the ear phones itself
but the mic records everything, instead of focussing on my voice.

In speaker mode the mic records everything generally but when the phone is
close to the ear, the mic follows the main voice that is it filters out
background voice. Is there anyway to ensure that happens even when the
phone is not next to my ear and my earphones are connected?

[AI] AI] How to stop iPhone from shifting output voice to speaker while on call

2013-05-14 Thread Apoorv Kulkarni
Hi Ekinath,

This is abnormal. You should visit a service centre or retailer and get it
checked. If your phone is within warranty, you should insist on getting a
replacement. I have got my brother's and uncle's phone replaced for a
different problem, so I know first-hand that replacements are normal in case
of any defect.

For your convenience, your nearest retailer is Maple technology in in orbit
maul, and the authorised service centre is in Reliance digital, both in
Vashi.

Dude,

It's not a defect.

Thanks anyway

At least in i4, it's a feature. Searching for the setting to change the feature.
I need your help on understanding G maps well. Will call for the same.
