UploadOfflineConversion: How to send ConversionDateTime in click conversion

2021-06-23 Thread Priya Sharma
I am using the date in UTC or ETC/GMT which was working fine with adwords
API, but according to the new google Ads API I get the below error.

"The string date time's format should be -mm-dd hh:mm:ss+|-hh:m., at
conversions[0].conversion_date_time"

In adwords API, I used as below:
ConversionDateTime= ConversionTime.Value.ToString("MMdd HHmmss") + "
Etc/GMT"

Please advise how to use this in google Ads API.

I used a unique campaign name for the mutate campaign create operation
which returned me an internal server error. when I retry using the same
campaign name in my subsequent attempt, I received a duplicate campaign
name error. Does this mean that the campaign was created for my first api
call even though the response returned was an internal server error?

Re: Internal server error while creating campaign

2019-06-20 Thread Priya
Hi Sai Teja,

Thanks for your feedback.

I used this campaign name for the request for which I received "internal
server error" as response. My assumption is that in this scenario , the
campaign should not have created as the api returned "internal server
error" exception.

However when I retry using the same campaign name in my subsequent attempt,
I received a duplicate campaign name error. Does this mean that the
campaign was created for my first api call even though the response
returned was an internal server error?

Regards,
Priya

Error StatusCode=ResourceExhausted, Detail="Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota)

2019-05-24 Thread Priya
Hi API Team,

I am working on Google Ads API V1.0 using .net client library and a test
account .

API calls was working fine . Now I am getting below mentioned error when I
make a create customer api call or any get api call. e.g get customer API
call.

*StatusCode=ResourceExhausted, Detail="Resource has been exhausted (e.g.
check quota). Too many requests. Retry in 30035 seconds.*

1. I tried to make API call after 12 hrs. But still I get the resource
exhausted error.

2. For last couple of weeks I have been working with GoogleAdsV1.0 API
calls. I didn't get this resource exhausted error while creating a customer
or setting up its campaigns. What is the cause of this error ?

Also I get page not found error for google doc to view
google-ads/api/docs/common-errors

Please help to resolve this issue.

Thanks

Google ads API V1.0 - A resource name for the removed campaign extension setting

2019-05-09 Thread Priya

Hello API Team,

I created a campaign extension with resource name :
customers/{customer_id}/campaignExtensionSettings/{campaign_id}~{extension_type}

, extension type as SITELINK and extension_feed_items[] with resource name
: customers/{customer_id}/extensionFeedItems/{feed_item_id}

I created extension_feed_items as mentioned in MutateExtensionFeedItems

For Remove operation: A resource name for the removed campaign extension
setting is expected, in this format:

customers/{customer_id}/campaignExtensionSettings/{feed_id}

Campaign extension resource name does not have feed_id and
extension_feed_items
which I created using MutateExtensionFeedItems

 does
have a feed_id either. How can I get feed_id that is required for remove
operation?

I am using .net client library.

Thanks for your time.

Re: Google Ads API V1.0 RemarketingSetting

2019-05-09 Thread Priya
Thanks for your time. The snippet I get from adwords and google ads api
looks different. I have added the steps for both api below and the
snippets. Please let me know if any one snippet from Google Ads API
remarketing action same as snippet from adwords ?

In *Google.Api.Ads.AdWords.**v201809, *I do the following steps.
1. Create a CustomerClient
2. Get a Customer using its customerId.
3. Get Remarketing Tag snippet from Customer using
*customer.remarketingSettings.snippet
. *The sample of the snippet mentioned below.

As you suggested, I used remarketing_action
<https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/fields/remarketing_action>
resource
to get tag_snippets in GoogleAdAPI V1.0 . Please find its steps below.

1. Create a CustomerClient
2. Create a RemarketingAction using its customerId.
3. Get Remarketing action using RemarketingActionResourceName from step 2.
4. I get 4 tag snippets . I posted the two snippets for HTML page format.

Type : WebpageOnclick
PageFormat: HTML
EventSnippet:

function gtag_report_conversion(url) {
  var callback = function () {
if (typeof(url) != 'undefined') {
  window.location = url;
}
  };
  gtag('event', 'conversion', {
  'send_to':   ' ',
  'aw_remarketing_only': true,
  'event_callback': callback
  });
  return false;
}

Type : Webpage
PageFormat:HTML
EventSnippet:

  gtag('event', 'conversion', {
  'send_to': '',
  'aw_remarketing_only': true
  });

Re: Google Ads V1.0 - Conversion Action Service

2019-05-06 Thread Priya
Thank you Bharani for your input. I would like to confirm my understanding.

I use the following settings for UploadConversion in adwords .
attributionModelType = AttributionModelType.LAST_CLICK;
isExternallyAttributed = false;

So for Google Ads V1.0 , If I set AttributionModelSettings
<https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/google.ads.googleads.v1.resources?hl=en#google.ads.googleads.v1.resources.ConversionAction.AttributionModelSettings>
 with
attribution model as GOOGLE_ADS_LAST_CLICK, then it is same as setting
isExternallyAttributed
= false in adwords . Am I correct ?

Re: Google Ads API V1.0 Inclide Zero impressions and Segment.Date in select fields

2019-05-01 Thread Devi Priya
Hi Bharani , Can you please let me know why I am not able to get zero
impression in my report if I include a segments.Date ? This is a roadblock
in our migration from Adwords to Google Ads APi v1.0.
In adwords , I am able to get zero impressions along with date
when IncludeZeroImpressions is set to true.

Below is the query I am using to get ad performance report.
string query = $@"SELECT ad_group_ad.ad.id, campaign.id, segments.date,
metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks, metrics.cost_micros,
metrics.average_position FROM ad_group_ad WHERE segments.date BETWEEN
'2019-04-17' AND '2019-04-28'

Re: Google Ads API V1.0 Inclide Zero impressions and Segment.Date in select fields

2019-04-30 Thread Priya
Thank you Bharani for your reply. can you please let me know if I can
include zero impression data along with metrics.Date ?

The query listed below , returns rows containing non-zero values for
"metrics.impressions" column. However if I remove "segments.date" from the
select statement , all the records , including ones that contain zero
"metrics.impressions" value are returned.

string query = $@"SELECT ad_group_ad.ad.id, campaign.id, segments.date,
metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks, metrics.cost_micros,
metrics.average_position, FROM ad_group_ad WHERE segments.date BETWEEN
'2019-04-17' AND '2019-04-28'

I want to retrieve all the "metrics.impressions" rows by "segments.date".
What should I do to modify the query listed above to return zero
"metrics.impressions" rows along with "segments.date" value?

Re: Google Ads API V1.0 Inclide Zero impressions and Segment.Date in select fields

I get zero impressions by default if I don't include segments.Date in

If I select segments.Date in select fields, then zero impressions data are
not fetched.

My question is how can I include zero impression data with Date in select

Google Ads API V1.0 Inclide Zero impressions and Segment.Date in select fields

2019-04-30 Thread Priya
string query =
$@"SELECT
 ad_group_ad.ad.id,
 campaign.id,
 segments.date,
 metrics.impressions,
 metrics.clicks,
 metrics.cost_micros,
 metrics.average_position,
FROM
ad_group_ad
WHERE segments.date BETWEEN '2019-04-17' AND '2019-04-28'

I get zero impression without segments.date in select field .

How can I get segments.date with zero impression in result when I query
for a date range in Google Ads API V1.0 ? I am using .net client library.

Google Ads API V1 - Remove Campaign Extension Setting

2019-04-29 Thread Priya
Created an ExtensionFeedItem with resource name
customers/{customer_id}/extensionFeedItems/{feed_item_id}
and a CampaignExtensionSetting with resource name
customers/{customer_id}/campaignExtensionSettings/{campaign_id}~{extension_type}.

Using query $@"SELECT feed.id FROM feed_item WHERE feed_item.id =
{feed_item_id}";, I got feed_Id which I used for remove campaign extension
setting operation..

When I try to remove a campaign extension setting using resource name
customers/{customer_id}/campaignExtensionSettings/{feed_id},
I get invalid resource name and feed_Id value as not found.

Hi ,

I am using Google.Ads .net client library.

I am unable to assign values for fields
UploadClickConversionsRequest.Conversions &
MutateConversionActionsRequest.Operations as those fields have only "Get"
in  Google.Ads.GoogleAds.V1.Services and are ReadOnly

How can I set values for above mentioned list in request object? . Thank

Re: Error.TOO_MANY_ACCOUNTS for TestAccounts

2019-03-25 Thread Priya
Thank you Peter for taking time to answer my question.

As I already have 50 accounts in my testAccount, Adding a new account
through Adwords API thew an exception as stated below.

*AdWordsApiException: Exception of type
'Google.Api.Ads.AdWords.Lib.AdWordsApiException' was thrown. Error
involving test accounts (mixed types) or too many child accounts.. (Error:
ManagedCustomerServiceError.TEST_ACCOUNT_LINK_ERROR, FieldPath:
operations[0], Trigger: TEST_ACCOUNT_LINK_ERROR)*

But I am still able to Create new account directly in ads.google.com using
my testAccount login credentials.

so Is this limit on number of account applicable only when Accounts are
created through API ?

Thanks.

Migrating production Ads to ExpandedTextAds

2016-09-16 Thread priya bahuguna
Hello API Team,

We are in the process of migrating existing ads to expanded text format. So
I'm trying to implement a logic that reads all existing ads from an
account/cmpgn/adgroup and then create expanded ads version of them.
I'm considering using AdGroupAdService instead of BatchJobService just
because its easier for me to implement considering my existing project
codebase.
Could anyone help me foresee any performance issues I may face using
 AdGroupAdService while trying to migrate thousands of ads per account. I
have to migrate ads for 13 such accounts.

Regards,
Priya

Expanded Text Ads- v201605 implement & test?

2016-07-06 Thread priya bahuguna
Hello,

I need some help understanding how I can implement and test Expanded Text
Ads against production account. I was able to test the functionality using
a test account but our custom application uses a production account and
connects to a Test MCC account for testing purposes.
To implement & test those changes within our application what would it
take? I also read that v201605 support expanded text ads for test accounts
only, then what is the purpose of whitelisting? Is whitelisting application
for creating ads through Web UI and not API?

Thanks a lot!

Updating Ad Final URLs

2016-04-27 Thread priya bahuguna

Hello All,

We are running an initiative to update all our Ad URLs to the secure
version i.e starting with https://. From the Adwords Web UI I can find that
when I edit the Ad (just convert Final Url to https://), the old Ad is
marked as deleted and a new one is created.
I'm just curious to know that when this new ad is created is it still
linked to the performance metrics of the original ad?
Does API also works in the similar way? This would mean if I have to update
the Ad URL I have to delete the existing Ad and create a new one with the
Updated URL. Is this correct?

Regards,
Priya

Migrating to v201601

Hello,

This is the first time I'm handling migration to a new version of adwords

I just wanted to confirm that if services are working fine with the Test

Thanks!

Re: CustomerSyncServiceInterface: Get Changed campaigns only

2016-03-11 Thread priya bahuguna
Hi Umesh,

Thanks for replying.

The example GetAccountChanges
<https://www.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fgoogleads%2Fgoogleads-java-lib%2Fblob%2Fmaster%2Fexamples%2Fadwords_axis%2Fsrc%2Fmain%2Fjava%2Fadwords%2Faxis%2Fv201601%2Faccountmanagement%2FGetAccountChanges.java=D=1=AFQjCNEFNTN12mlxEJXYn3ohhit28RttqA>
 is
passing all campaignIds in an account to CustomerSyncService via the
selector.

The documentation for CustomerChangeData#ChangedCampaign
(https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201509/CustomerSyncService.CustomerChangeData)

says
* If a campaign is included in the selector it will be included in this
list, even if the campaign did not change.*
So is there no way just to get the Changed CampaignIds ? We have over 15000
campaigns and are polling changes for them then one by one. Is this
approach okay?

Regards,
Priya

Check for Pending BatchJob

2016-02-23 Thread priya bahuguna
Hello,

We migrating from deprecated MutateJobService to BatchJobService. How can
we check for Pending or processing Batch Job Status.
Can a batch job in neither DONE nor CANCELED state regarded as a
pending/processing job. Previously we were using BasicJobStatus.PENDING
& BasicJobStatus.PROCESSING
to check the same.

Thanks,
Priya

Google Customer Match API

2015-12-18 Thread Priya Ramachandran

Hi all,

I'm an Account Optimizer working with the Real Estate vertical. One of my
clients, Beazer’s development team, took a look at the FAQ for the Google
Customer Match API and had some questions-

1.Is there a need for 2-way data interchange (i.e. anything that
needs to come back into Salesforce)? Would we want to have anything being
sent back into SFDC to Beazer from this list?

2. Are there any existing 3rd party SFDC Apps that are available that
already perform the functionality of the desired API calls? If so, this
would be a better approach than writing something from scratch.

I'd appreciate any information you could provide regarding this!

Thanks,

Priya

Re: TrafficEstimatorService Not giving equal monthly volume compared with Keyword Planner Tool volume

2015-02-13 Thread suga priya
Hi Josh,

Any update on this? Please help me to resolve this issue.

 Hi Josh,

 I used below code for Network settings (only for the Google). But the
 issue is still persistent
   $network = new networkSetting();
   $network-targetGoogleSearch = true;
   $network-targetSearchNetwork = false;
   $network-targetPartnerSearchNetwork  = false;
   $network-targetContentNetwork=false;

  Client customer Id is changed due to transfer from adwords account to mcc
 account and no ads are running now. Will it be the cause of issue? I
 remembered it was working fine before transfer.

 Thanks.

 Hi,

 From tests I just ran, it appears that the *Keyword Planner* is not
 calculating its displayed *Avg. Pos.* strictly as an average of the min
 and max *Ad position*. For example, I have:

 *Keyword Planner*
 Ad position = 3.36 - 4.1
 Avg. Pos. = 3.70

 However, if I take the average of the min and max *Ad position* values, I
 get:
 (3.36 + 4.1)/2 = 3.73

 In other words, the *Keyword Planner* value for *Avg. Pos.* is clearly
 not just a simple average of the min and the max.

 One *possibility* is that it is calculating the *Avg. Pos.* using a
 weighted average, e.g., by weighting on *Impressions*. That gets *close* to
 the value, but is not always an exact match. See the section on the right
 that shows one possible weighted average calculation.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for the information.I am gonna start using Adwords API in couple of
days. Before that i would like confirm with you we can able to get search
volume through API instead of getting through keyword planner manually.

Thanks,

Re: QuotaCheckError.INVALID_TOKEN_HEADER @ ; trigger:'null'???

2012-10-16 Thread Priya Gandhi
Hi Danial,

I am trying to run the *AdWords.Examples.CSharp.OAuth* application from the
downloaded code and clicked the GetCampaigns button by providing one of our
customerID. I have ENABLED OAuth2 through my account and
received OAuth2ClientId and OAuth2ClientSecret for localhost. I have given
DeveloperToken, Email and Password in my Web.config file. I still get the
error.

Can you advise me about the problem?

Thanks,
Priya
