Ah interesting. My guess is that when you schedule the client sets the
Date to the scheduled time, even if it doesn't actually *send* at the
scheduled time. That'd explain the large timespan (it probably actually
sent about a minute after the scheduled time). That might be an
interesting wrinkle in any potential CFJ.

Will Gmail deliver a list message if it's sent from a different IP?

Maybe this is a good time to remind you (you never responded to my
original message) that back in June/July (I think) I had trouble receiving
list email because the list IP got on a global spam blacklist that my own
mail account's mail server subscribes to, which AFAIU normally happens
because such an IP sends mail to a spam trap address.

I eventually solved this personally by asking one of my sysadmins. He
added an explicit exception for the IP.

This might indicate that occasionally that IP _is_ being used for genuine
spam (maybe it's a shared address (there's no reverse DNS), or maybe
there's an actual vulnerability), and if gmail is also picking up on this
it's no wonder if it starts dropping stuff.

Paranoid greetings,
Ørjan.

Yeah, I've noticed this as well, it happens in my text editor as well. I tend
to go with the approach of having the | be in the same column.

According to the Unicode standards, the vast majority of Japanese
characters (whichever alphabet they come from) are intended to be twice
as wide as an English letter would be in a monospace font.

However, many email clients suck at enforcing this rule in practice
(e.g. mine seems to be displaying the above three-character word as
just over five columns wide). In order to avoid making peoples' eyes
bleed, I tend to use a footnote whenever I have to write 天火狐's name in
tabular data, so that it doesn't need to line up with anything else.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I do my Tailor reports in a text editor, which
handles them correctly. Not sure about Rulekeepor; word-wrapping there is
done by a library which I'd have to look up how it actually handles it. My
guess is that it treats them as width-1, so it occasionally goes over.

I distinctly remember having this problem a while back with someone
else's posts. I solved it by creating a google filter that never sent
anything matching the following to spam:

"to:(agora-offic...@agoranomic.org OR agora-busin...@agoranomic.org OR
agora-discussion@agoranomic.org) replyto:agora-discussion@agoranomic.org"

Of course, this is a more sophisticated bandage, not a fix.

I can unstick them manually, but finding a long-term solution to this
might well be helpful. (The DKIM signature on your emails is
"h=mime-version:sender:from:date:message-id:subject:to;"; the Subject
field is getting rewritten on most emails, which would break it, but
some emails don't rewrite Subject and are nonetheless not getting
through, so perhaps one of the other fields is being changed by the
mailing list software too?)

In Gmail, below the message there is a horizontal rule (not
full-width) and a text attachment available called signature.asc. It's
quite small and ignorable. I can view it with one click.

(I'm probably the one who complained about it being in-message.)

I have received at most one copy of each of your messages.

I think I figured out my problem -- I was still double-subscribed.
