Question on versions.....
I'd heard that there is one form with 7.1/7.5 that will show the version of the different products - SM, PM, etc. that you have installed. If so, what is the name of the form? Thank you. Title: RE: Simple Question, about versions ** Rick and ??: The Mid Tier version appears on the login page on my system. If you are in a Unix environment, when you start the processes, you get the versions. I think these are available under the task manager or by reviewing the properties for the individual programs. Re: Simple Question, about versions
Title: RE: Simple Question, about versions ** When you start up the arserver, you should see versions for the ARS server, Email Engine, CMDB Engine and Recon Engine, if they are installed. By accessing the Mid-Tier configuration page, you should see the current version of Mid-Tier and any applied patches. If you have access to the SHARE:Application Properties form, you can look at the version level of the various Information Technology Service Management modules such as Help Desk or SLA. For the older versions, you can open the Form, open Form Properties and look at the Change History. For the newer versions, this information is not correct. Re: Simple Question, about versions
Title: RE: Simple Question, about versions ** Rick: I also looked at the form properties for the various forms. For versions 5.6 and below, this information appears to be in the Change History for the form. For versions 6.0 and up, you have to look at the SHARE:Application_Properties form and look up Name in the Property Name field and then the Proper Name for the process such as Remedy Help Desk for the Help Desk module.
