HiI dont exactly know how its done but it doesnt seem that hard and theres allot of articles and FAQs to help you figure it out, as far as I know you could just put Linux on a flash drive and run it off that, boot into it, use it, take it out, and restart the computer, there may even be ways to not have to restart, certainly theres ways to make a virtual instance of Linux on Windows using a program, but the flash drive idea means your not even installing anything at all onto the computer or messing around with the computers internal Hard Drive with partitions and such.I do not know how to code at all and suck at it though I can grasp some of the basic principals, but my friend may find this interesting, hes wanted to get into moo before, he also likes PHP and HTML, hes learning C++ and hes used BGT, hes also good with Linux, Windows, and OSX and understands servers and a bit of networking and computer 
 hardware.

Hi.Here are my first impressions after 15 minutes of gameplay:Nice, really nice audio and voice acting. The gameplay is too easy.Its too easy to find the objects, but it might just be me whos good at searching.  I like the way you have to open the panel though. Nice puzzle. Hi.Try to check if there are any toolbars installed on your computer. Those can mess up any screenreaders so badly...Can you reach the menu by pressing the left alt key?

HiSorry I didnt reply sooner, you guys really seem on top of this and thats great, I really wish you luck with your other projects, especially interceptor as well, though I know nothing about it, seems like you put allot of work into it.I also hope that thing I made didnt make you feel bad, lol, I just thought itd be funny, since you already said something amusing about it in the documentation, and I couldnt help my self.I like TKS allot, and hope it gets added to in the future despite your being busy, also, making accounts like GMA Games and Aprone are doing, while also offering the free version to everyone, could help with anti piracy enough so that you may not need to have constant online checking if you put a good registry system on top of that,and that way people could request replacement keys, post in a forum etc as well and youd be able to keep track of everyones information more easily in a database.

Moonmist is OK, but I recommend Wishbringer. Its a charming story, but its still very straightforward to play and has very simple puzzles to figure out.IMO, its not looking at the hints thats the problem, its looking at the hints without realising the significance of the puzzles that is. If you use hints simply to progress, obviously you arent gaining anything, but if you can relate to the puzzles once you have learned their solutions, then youre really onto something.

Its friction free. The forum software stores its data in a database, and provides the form for you to put data into that database. Its not really a substitute for a web host, although I do blog here quite frequently.

And offline access? Does the web store let you download what you buy or playing locally in your browser, or must you be online to play it?I do appreciate the fact that I can be offline on iOS. When I have had no connectivity, the worst part has been being surprised by one of those in-app purchases. Id sooner Upgrade to everything (which is very satisfying, and makes me feel good about helping out CoG) as soon as I start my game, then wander off to play it when Im at dads where the coverage is useless.

Connect using a cable and try again to update using iTunes. If that doesnt work, theres a guaranteed way to update, which involves erasing everything on your phone. Turn phone off, and connect to computer with iTunes while holding down the home button. Keep home held until iTunes says youre in recovery mode, and then restore.

I think the preferred way Id like to see ambushes is being able to use control e. First it would ask you at what position the player would have to be for the enemy to spawn, and then it would ask at what position the enemy begins when it is spawned so you could have them behind you as well.Optionally, maybe have the ability to set the sight range to unlimited for those enemies to allow for stages where you get enemies spawning really far behind you but being able to catch up if youre not going through the level fast enough just like the fire.One more thing, Ive noticed that we dont have the ability to edit/remove items from our stages. Could this be implemented?

Hi All.Its been a while since youve heard from me and N A Soft.Ive been working on a new game over the last couple of months and will be ready to go in to beta testing in the next couple of weeks or so and Im after some testers.Park Boss is an Amusement Park Simulator where your the boss.Every choice you make has an impact on how successful your park is. Choose rides and attractions and where to put them, set prices for tickets, food and snacks, get the right level of staff and so on. the power really is in your hands. and dont forget to walk around the park and here the money rolling in.Im after a team of 10 people or so to try out various releases of the game, find bugs and make suggestions for additional functionality. The ideal tester will have good communication skills, be able to spend time over the next couple of months or so to test the game, Im guessing that minimum of 3 hours a week will be needed althou
 gh hopefully youll find the game more interesting than that. The game has been developed for windows and other than a windows machine no other equipment should be needed.Im planning on releasing the game as freeware so theres no pay for this testing, just the knowledge that your making a game better and my sincerest thanks.So if Ive grabbed your attention and youd like to put yourself forward as a possible tester then please send me an email to n...@ndadamson.com providing the following:1. Im not paying that high price for the game, when I already have the version for the Mac and pc.You might consider removing the describtion on how to play the game on a pc or mac computer from the IOS description, since thats not relevant on the iPhone or iPad.

While I do know that a keystroke exists of some sort, it escapes me at this moment in time, since usually what I do is delete the preferences file when something is no longer working the way I want it to. Youre looking for a file called EntombedPreferences.dat, usually located in whatever yoru user documents folder happens to be, saved games/entombed/entombed saves/all players/EntombedPreferences.dat.Once yoo delete this file you will have to reconfigure your preferences to whatever best suits your needs, but that should clear up any irritations.

But he wants to wipe it clean, yes? As discussed earlier, it seems to me that using the app to build a USB stick is the complete solution, but if the machine came with Mavericks, booting Internet recovery is quick and easy. So knowing what the machine came with may help. JMO.As an aside, it might be worth subscribing yourself to the macvisionaries list to get help from others if you are very new to the Mac.

Try pressing ctrl tab to see if there are any other windows.You can also try ctrl 1 to see if thatll bring up the main window.It sounds like youve got the app version of Skype for windows 8, but thats impossible I think, because youre using windows 7.

Hi,Monks are good starting out for a new player, because you really dont require any kind of eq. Good areas to explore are the swamp (from cot, go n w n n e n enter e e s s sw), ice portal (ask on newb for directions).I dont really am aware of any asky stuff. What are you looking at exactly?collecting eq..mainly use your guild donation box (if youre in an eq guild)renting/quitting..basicly it works like this. if youre not logged on for 24 hours, you drop all of your eq (which you do regardless at reboot), though being linkdead for 12 hours and then coming on, and then going linkdead again solves this problem nicely.lastly, pk and rp isnt really required.

The offline access is another point in favour of playing on Ios and something Ive used myself too as opposed to playing via the website directly.Regarding in ap perchices, well apart from removing adds in the free games, the only game Ive run into in ap purchices with so far was Zombi exodus, and what I did was used the start at episode option to go and buy chapters 3-5, so Ive got them all to play and wont need to buy them later, though then I reset the game and started from the start. Its a bit of a cheat but i do agree with you its better to have the hole lot available. actually it might be nice if when you started the game you could directly go to the in ap purchice page and buy all further parts so that youve got them when you need them, rather than specifically having to buy them later, but I dont really mind too much.

Im not sure what you mean about relate to the puzzles there sebby. What I found with h2g2, is Id wander around, get to a situation, try to solve for a while, get frustrated then use the hints. This wouldnt matter if it was once or twice, but it seemed to be nearly constant,  heck when i got to the dreaded babel fish, I tried myself, used the first hint, did that a couple of times then went through the entire 15 or so hints sinse that one is so ridiculous,  I actually thought Adams line at around hint 13 This is the point brave men start to cry was quite apt :d.This is what I mean with Parser games and hints though. I havent tried wishbringer, mostly because I didnt fancy playing any of the later zorks before finishing the earlier ones, although my practical chance of getting through the earlier ones is not high .

Sound a bit loopy to me. Im probably a bit too much of a potter fan to appreciate these as anymore than a parody, though they might be fun for that. Some of the harry potter related jokes in Brandon Sandersons alkatraz vs series were hilarious. I loved the bit where his grandfather sends him home to appologise to his foster parents, then turns up an hour later to take him off and said what you thought Id leave you there all summer, in a place where all your enemies know exactly where you are with people you dont even like? bit contrived isnt it? . Id actually recommend the alkatraz vs books. supposedly aimed at kids but I found them a great take off of hp and other famous books, also who cant like a series where the hero is trying to defeat an evil world wide conspiracy of magical librarians!  yes, l
 ibrarians!I also loved the bit where you met that most terrible and dreaded librarian she who cannot be named!, actually turned out the reason for this is not that everyone is too scared of her name, or that saying her name summons her attention, but just that nobody could actually pronounce her name.Strangely enough though there was a good story under this, and the actual plot wasnt an hp parody, no magic schools, no magic sports,  though lots of interesting things like magical spectacles that gave people different powers with different types of lenses, and the Smedry family with very weerd magical tallents all involving something very unfortunate which tunrs out to be a bennifit, --- like Alkatraz counsen australia who wakes up very uggly each morning,  aka, if she goes to sleep she can wak up with someone elses appearence. I also liked Quentin Smedry whos alwaysgetting lost,  getting lost so much he can just randomly

hi everyone,alpha version 2 of your_adventure has been released. below ill post the changelog:changes from alpha version 1 to alpha version 2- editted the option the story of the game in the main menu to the goal of the game see below why.- the plans are changed, the story mode will be left out, instead of this there will be a good sized world where you can perform various activities like woodcutting, firemaking, fishing, cooking, combat, gam bling etc etc. and the best part will be you can gain levels in this skills and with this levels there will become better resources available. instead of plain wood you also can chop oak wood at a certain time for example.- editted the credits page, the last crew member has been added, he stepped in just after the release of alpha version 1. he wants to stay anonymous, but i can tell he also will take care of some of the sounds.- removed the dalgrim tower, this one is useless right now with the new course of the game. and replaced it for a sign you can look at to get a overview what you can do in this version, this ccan become handy when youre to lasy to read the changelog - added the changelog in the games directory- added a read me file in the games directory- added a few extra items in the shop. this are: bundle of five small potions (the option buy a single one was already available), a large potion (also available in bundle of five) and a shuriken (again, also available in a bundle of five) and added a fishing pole. (you can only have one of these).- editted the combat system a little, youll now hear youre fighting a rat, please take your turn. you should read the read me to discover wich keys perform wich tasks at the combat screen.- upgraded the your information option. now it is more readable, so all the information wont blow a hole in your head cause it was told you in one sentince. now you can scroll through it with the up and down arrow keys and to close it either press the leave this menu option or just press enter on whatever location on this screen. it will close and take you back to dalgrim.- devided the old level into three types of levels, wich also can be looked at on the your information screen. removed the single level and made combat level, gamble level and fishing level of it.- added a location called the docks, where you can try to catch some fishies and when you have catched them you ccan sell them all in once to a old fisherman. later on you can try to cook the fishies, but for now you can sell them.- the fishing pole does have a limited lifespawn, after 15 tries of fishing it will break apart and you have to buy a new one.- you already got a upgrade to your hitpoints and your maximal hitpoints, + you got a extra life and you were restored to full health when you got a level. this rewards are still active for the combat level, for the fishing levels you will obtain some fish after leveling and with gam bling you get a small amount of gold coins as bonus.- upgraded the save and load scripts so the new information also will be saved and loaded.- added a few extra sounds.it must also be stated, when this game grows larger and larger in size interms of the world and activities you can perform, this will become a commercial game. the game will cost $5 wich isnt a huge amount for aaudiogame i guess. what do you think of this price? but this is still out of the scope. this only will happen when we havesomething playable and very stable.we have some we currentlyy have some technical issues with the website so illpost a direct link right now:https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/930 … ctions.zipwe hope youll enjoy the game.sincerely yours,visionproductions crew

A while ago, I saw suppressor sounds in the M40 sound folder. At the time version 2.9b of Swamp was released, I noticed a bunch of other weapons that Aprone hadnt, and some of them still hasnt, added yet. Therefore, I figured that these suppressor-sounds would just be a part of those and stopped wondering why that suppressor doesnt exist in the game. Some days ago though, I opened the Weaponspecs.txt-file and came across the Surefire Suppressor, which belongs to the M40. Apart from that, it has its own specs defined, as if it would have been part of Swamp for a while now. Thats why Im wondering if that item once was part of the game or if there were any plans to implement it which were dropped again, and if it were possible to add that suppressor.

Ive heard that its also hard to get a hold of the papa Sangre engine, assuming you are ready to pay whatever they ask. The problem with iOS development, however, is much more fundamental: Xcode is the example of why I consider Mac accessibility to be flawed at the Voiceover level. Youre not going to enjoy developing for iOS unless you get something like Ruby Motion or know how to write custom scripts to make Xcode suck less, and possibly not even then. You can do it, its just not exactly fun--the only blind person I know doing it on a regular basis uses a Windows VM for code editing.As for why Im going to support it? Libaudioverse is bigger than the audiogaming community or the blind person. Sighted people want and need this software too, and being able to share code across platforms has become a very, very big thing in the computer science and programming world. If you wanted, you could combine Libaudioverse 
 with Sdl and write games for 5 platforms.

Today I tried to search for something on the audiogames.net site, but no matter if I clicked any of the examples listed or if I typed something that Im sure of being in the DB, I didnt get any results. No results doesnt mean that there appeared a line that read, No results found, there was just nothing showing up except the editing fields to enter the keywords.

I noticed that before the site was hacked. MAny things are broken: Cheats and mods section, etc. Only the games list and 1 or 2 things work, however it was running fine the last year. Well as I dont speak russian it probably wouldnt help, plus to be honest it sounds like theyre a bit too much of an htake off p to appeal to someone like me who is a big fan of the actual series. Indeed if your a harry potter fan Id personally recommend other authors who do books in a similar area but with different plot and elements such as Diana Wynne Jones Chrestomancy series or the Alkatraz books as I mentioned. heck I even thought the Percy Jackson books by Rick Rioden were a bit too blatantly potter influenced.

Numpy is very fast, very compact, and very capable if you know a bit of math. The main point of it with sound code, however, is memory consumption. Especially for larger buffers, the fact that Python has to use what is called boxxed types hurts you: an integer is the integer itself, plus some data saying that its an integer. In addition, python lists are actually arrays of pointers to the objects in the list, rather than the objects themselves--so youve got some extra data for that, too (its possible python optimizes this case, but I dont believe so).Numpy does a few things, most majorly storing ints as an unboxxed type. Its also got convenient syntaxes and functions for a bunch of math operations: everything from basic stuff like find the min or max in an array through convolution, the FFT, trigonometry, and a bunch of matrix operations. The list is so extensive that I cant recall them all without looking at 
 the docs, but anything mathematical in python typically brings Numpy in (I use it, for example, to make .hrtf files from the MIT kemar Hrtf dataset for Libaudioverse). The problem in terms of this discussion is that were discussing something primarily mathematical as an abstract and qualitative thing, but the examples of how to do this assume that youre capable and willing to use things like Numpy (and tbh Numpy will let you do stuff like trivially apply and design filters, though I havent done that there myself). It is worth noting that Numpy docs tend to be accessible, at least if you know LaTeX a bit.

damage extreme urgent help please

hi. I installed damage extreme and the latest version of bgt but it doesnt seems to work. I downloaded an updated exe file that was posted on the forum a year ago and the game started fine but when I tried to play the game I get an error about the levels.dat file. I guess there is something wrong with that. there was also an updated version for that file but the link is broken now. any help would be appreciated.

Here is a more pythonic and functional module for generating sounds in pygame using the sndarray module. Where can I find more equations for different waves? I googled equations for sound waves, but just found the basic idea of moving from -1 to 1. One weerd issue Im having in Ios 7.12 is for some reason the power button to screen lock isnt working the way it did. rather than me pressing once to lock and unlock, or press and holding to power off, now it seems I need to press and hold then release to lock, and press the home button to unlock, and press and hold the button for quite a while to power off. This I dont like sinse I dont want to accidently catch the home button when my Iphone is in my bag and unlock it by mistake.Of course I am only guessing this is Ios 7.12, sinse it could equally be that my power button is just wearing out, though if so this has happened extremely quickly and it is a bit odd that it was fine until I installed Ios 7.12.

It does seem a little odd that accounts on the choiceofgames site are machine specific, I thought they wouldve worked like accounts in Browser mmorpgs where you can use whichever computer you like so long as you remember your E-mail address and password. I suppose though it might be a symtom of the games being ported to systems like Ios, sinse Im fairly sure that while your gamecenber account would remember your achievements from game to game, your actual save is machine specific, though as Ive only got the one Iphone Ive not been able to test this.

Ouch, that is a pain, also the links to the info pages of game genres and licenses arent working. Ill let sander and richard know about this. About the cheats, mods and audio reviews sections, I will suggest to Richard and Sander they be removed from the site, sinse really its easier to just add those sorts of things on game db pages for individual titles anyway, especially now we have the Articles room.
