I left my male Charmeleon there by himself, and I got an egg.Also on eggs, I hatched a Magikarp egg and the game froze at the point where it asked if I wanted to nickname it.EDIT3:Tried hatching the egg again, and this time it worked. However, when in my list of Pokémon, it says "egg", not "Magikarp." Even when I released it, it said "Goodbye, egg."

It's helpful to figure out how to make the most of very little, in my experience. Which is to say, you don't need to worry about Python's sound libraries until you can make arbitrary text-only games.(I'd probably suggest Python anyway, but if you want out-of-the-box 2D sound and TTS/screen reader support, there's always BGT.)

I finally figured out 21-1.21-2 looks simple enough; provided I can get the timing down.I did run into a bug with the camera if I try to use it without moving my character first though.I still Yukio aut to give us the option of taking out the cameras if we wish.My most powerfull weapon only does 6 percent damage to a low-leveled camera, and I'm past lv 100.Later!

@Thunderfist I could also post a long response but will refrain from doing so as well; I think these are things we will have to agree to disagree about. I will ask, however, what do you say to women (or men, though I get the feeling you're putting the responsibility of caring for children mostly on women) who have no desire to marry or have children? What if a person wants to remain independent, and not conform to a role society has made for them? Btw Wikipedia is not a reliable source itself, but most articles specifically site primary references from which the article was written; just look at those if in doubt.

Migi = right. Hidari = left. Just in case you can get it to speak Japanese but can't get a translation working.The most frustrating part of 21-1 was the platform stack. If I remember correctly, I wound up just giving up on stealth near the last one, and just using an Amazing Speed Drink to outrun everything. I don't recall having any troubles with the end.

A big thumbs up for posts 95 98 and 99, totally agree with all of that.You guys probably already know what happened with me and Mason in the past, I got over it and I think he did too, but considering how these guys are acting, I don't really blame Mason for the way he reacted on Twitter, condone it, know, but understand it, most certainly.I think post 72 by Colton Hill on the new Ultrapower topic sums it up pretty well.  That said how ever, posts 85 and 86 on this topic paint a confusing picture about Colton's trustworthyness as well, since even if he didn't actually (hack) anything, it's obvious that he didn't have permission to do what he did either, and knew full well that he was exploiting a security loophole.That's about all I want to say about this though, what I'm really interested in is SBP.Any predictions on when the 1.3 update will be ready Mason?  Personally I'm hoping for it to be 
 out sometime before Monday evening, but I understand that this domain change has caused some issues.I hope that my and others previous post's can be referenced when looking for fixes to attempt in following versions of the game, because I don't want to make a big list of ideas and overwhelm you.Who knows, if you keep working at this then SBP might just show up on the next LP PG13 from Gortholon and Pitermach, which would boost your sales and raise awareness for sure!

I've a couple of questions I'd love to have answered if someone would be so helpful.First, how do I save my current version of IOS before upgrading to a new version?Second, Without such a saved copy of a previous version of IOS, is there any way to say roll back to IOS 8.whatever?I'd love to go back to IOS 8, as all my games worked well, and no real problems with that version.I can't understand how papa sangree was updated, but never addressed the entire bug with IOS 9. I realize it was just to deal with IPhone 6+, but it'd be nice if they'd fix all of their games that got broken when IOS was upgraded to 9.Thanks for any help with my questions.

Nuno, sure destroying them is not cheating... but it takes so much longer, especially if you don't have a weapon that's powerful enough. The whole point, once again, is to get past those cameras without them spotting you by using the object locator to see what direction they're facing. I don't understand why people don't seem to get this yet... destroying them is not necessary. the game keeps crashing for the people who just try and run through those levels like normal because every time a camera spots you more enemies are generated, and the game overloads and crashes. They're called stealth missions fr a reason.

A big thumbs up for posts 95 98 and 99, totally agree with all of that.You guys probably already know what happened with me and Mason in the past, I got over it and I think he did too, but considering how these guys are acting, I don't really blame Mason for the way he reacted on Twitter, condone it, know, but understand it, most certainly.I think post 72 by Colton Hill on the new Ultrapower topic sums it up pretty well.  That said how ever, posts 85 and 86 on this topic paint a confusing picture about Colton's trustworthyness as well, since even if he didn't actually (hack) anything, it's obvious that he didn't have permission to do what he did, and knew full well that he was exploiting a security loophole.That's about all I want to say about this though, what I'm really interested in is SBP.Any predictions on when the 1.3 update will be ready Mason?  Personally I'm hoping for it to be out som
 etime before Monday evening, but I understand that this domain change has caused some issues.I hope that my and others previous post's can be referenced when looking for fixes to attempt in following versions of the game, because I don't want to make a big list of ideas and overwhelm you.Who knows, if you keep working at this then SBP might just show up on the next LP PG13 from Gorth and Pitermach, which would boost your sales and raise awareness for sure!

How to set sounds and voice in game to be played synchronously?It isn't hard. You may remember that different users have different voices and differen speed of them.So, you can't use an instruction in time to play some sound after for example 10 seconds.So,
  you might write an algorithm, which can check a speed of voice.Next, don't use long texts. Set voice to read short texts without pauses, second after first. The only way to keep this from spiraling out of control like that wone did, is to not reply to Ivan and tell him not to start drama or to complain about it coming back. There's a bug, which is sometimes the game will still lag, the offline version. Enemies walk on the bridge like they should, but for some reason it still lags at times, especially when a lot of items are clumped together. I have a feeling it could be due to the see range, but I could be wrong.Exactly Defender, and now that you mention it, as long as we don't respond to the topic of this nonsense and drama, Mason can read our suggestions, as well as be more motivated to code and produce the updates.

best games 2015!

another year, another collection of games which have highlighted this year!One of those is survive the wild. At first not many people liked it because of its unrestricted player killing and other things. But I think over the months its gotten much better, with restrictions of player killing, more things to do such as hunting, and even more.Another would be paw prints. Even though its a pretty simple game at its core which probably didn't take long to code, it does take long to beat, and stratagy is deffenately required.Also u mart, which just like paw prints is another smallish game but requires going with the trends, what people buy, and trying to stay away from a negative balance.Beat star. I'm wondering why I did't mension this game earlyer. With its huge amount of available sound packs growing all the time, this game will probably live on for a very long time yet.Any other games that should be in this list, or wish to just talk abou

Really? great! grabbing 1.3 now!It isn't really that funny Xoren, I mean, you already bought them the first time, Sound Ideas Monsters and Creatures, Hollywood Edge Evil FX, Sound Ideas Series 6000 and at least 3 of the extensions, Sound Ideas Larger than life, Sound Ideas The Dark Side of Sound, The Soni Pictures Sound Effects Series, The SFX Kit, Sound Ideas Impact Effects, and Sound Ideas Series 2000, or at least some of the Disks from them, assuming you were able to get single disks, you usually have to go through a reseller like Sounddogs for that, and unfortunately they don't usually have very big selections either.I guess NS must have just gotten his hands on the same libraries you did, I mean, anyone can buy them right? Most of Swamps sounds weren't heavily edited from the originals anyway, which is understandable considering the speed that updates were coming out at one time, and with Swamp being free and all.I guess we must have al
 l just found out about that across the board 99 percent off deal on that one resale website a few years back and used our student loans on several marked down libraries at the same time or something, fancy that...I suppose if he got them from Swamp directly though, then he may want to ask Sound Ideas and Hollywood Edge and Soni and all those other folks for a full commercial license for them, to, since he'd have to have the same kind you do in order to use sounds that were just left out in the open unprotected by encryption like that, since the single user license almost always prohibits that kind of miss use.

For the record, it's situations like this that reaffirm my decision to no longer contribute sounds which I've paid for towards any audio game development, beyond those which I've personally pledged to work on already. People in the audio games community would rather defend the reappropriation of sounds and try to make those of us who contributed those sounds the bad guys, rather than condemn such activities, simply because continuing to condone such activities gives them new toys to play with.Also for the record, I do buy all of my sounds. If you follow my Twitter, or ask people who do, you'd know that I am fairly regularly broadcasting libraries which I've purchased. For sound whose libraries do cost too much, I do buy individual tracks to use, as was the case with a lot of Swamp's inventory.Interesting, whenever I bring up sound encryption, and that I won't work on a game unless it has strong encryption, I also get flamed for it -
 - presumably because encryption would prevent people from being able to easily get those sounds? To be fair, though, if people will defend the reappropriation of content, I think it perfectly within my rights to point out when they are doing it, too.So about that BS and misinformation...

Okay, I will go fix this and make a package on Pypi for it.  It will take me a couple days, as we're sitting squarely in the Christmas holidays and I don't keep Jaws installed.There are side effects if you crash with the hook installed globally, but you can limit hooks to one thread and/or one window.  All that should have to happen here is an installation of a keyboard hook that does nothing, probably about 20 lines of Python at most.  BGT is doing it without issue, though I do disagree with the approach: we shouldn't be "fixing" our screen reader in this incredibly hackish manner, we should be demanding that Jaws stop being as buggy as it is.If there's interest in a C package, I can probably do that too: just a port of the Python code once the Python code works.

no you don't actuallyin 21-3, all you have to do is wait near that drop for the camera to turn the other way, immediately drop down, backtrack and you'll find another drop down to another platform with another camera, rince and repeat until you reach the bottom, and bingoalso there are 4 cameras there, not 2

Some times when you die, and start a new single player game, it will make  you die again, because of what ever killed you the  first time. I din't know why this is. Also, when you clear save data, it doesn't actually clear. I have a sudgestion, I think that you shouldn't be able to kill allies, and they shouldn't be  classified as enemies. Also, I think it would be cool to at least start with some ammo in your handgun, because, it's nearly empossible to do anythinh until you get some ammo, and by that point, your vitiousness level is too high to even have any fun.

strange issue with the main sight.

hello.I am having a very strange issue when accessing the main page of audiogames.net. Whenever I go on to the front page it says this sight if currently offline. My friend tried it and could get to it just fine. I've tried it with 2 browzers and gotten the same issue. It says 502, connection timed out, and something about the sight being offline, but being able to access a flashback of it because of cloud hosting. I can get to other sights just fine but this one. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Thanks.

Oh wait a moment, Xoren. It's completely for sure that Ultrocity stole sounds from Swamp but it's also completely 100% sure you purchased your sound libraries because you said so on your Twitter. I also find irony in that as well. Funny how the dude with all the sound libraries is the first to call out someone, else, for stealing sounds? I can't help but chuckle a bit.

Okay Xoren, you've been doing this allot longer and in a bigger way than I have, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but I'm still pretty skeptical.Still, if you really did buy those libraries, then you really should have insisted on better protection for them, but since you didn't, and that ship sailed long ago, then you really shouldn't be complaining about the obvious result of that mistake, at least in my opinion.Stuff like this, especially with Swamp but also with RTR, who's sounds are also unprotected, is what leads people to ask stupid uneducated questions on threads about new games that make the developer look bad and give people unnecessary pause when really, there is nothing saying that these people aren't just using the original sounds or similar ones made from the original sounds of a certain library that you or another sound designer in this community used one time for a game or a mud's soundpack or a mod or s
 omething.This is partly why I'm so excited about all these new libraries coming out, put together by people in our community with their own recording devices and home, work, and school environments, because the licensing is clear, the royalties are non existent, and purchasing them supports members of this forum, instead of massive, faceless corporations who make billions of dollars a year.I would personally never use sounds directly from Swamp in an audio game, and I would even go so far as to avoid using similar sounds, but I am under absolutely no obligation to do so, I simply wish not to come off as tacky.But no one has any real rite to question anyone else who does, and it's getting quite tiresome to see people doing it so much, so when one of the few people that should really know better makes a statement that throws a wrench into the already gummed up works, it's pretty frustrating.

Gotta love the intelligence (or lack thereof)...  Also at the RTR_Assassin, that's probably due to people wanting to wait until all lag problems and stuff are fixed, -- like those pointed out by 1 or 2 other posters to this topic. It's not discrediting Ultrocity Audio, but I think more people will buy once they can affirm those problems are fixed.

  dedicated team or adequate recording equipment.This has been going on since the very beginning of audio games, and to be honest, if you want people to keep making games, then your just going to have to get used to it guy that always asks if you've gotten permission from Aprone if you can use the sounds from Swamp in your dinky little alpha stage sidescroller.That kind of ridiculously off the mark idea about copyright is exactly what half the people on this forum now think is the truth, and Swamp, though a great game with great sound design, was sadly a major  reason for it.And personally, I don't get what all the fuss is about anyway, if I use unlicensed sounds in a free game, then I already know that's against the law, but I also know that no one cares because you can't sue for funds if no funds were obtained from the sale of the product, and you would have to pay legal fees anyway, if the court even decided to see your case. 
  If, on the other hand, I'm using licensed, payed for sounds, then obviously, since common sense dictates it, I'm going to insist on decent encryption for them because doing otherwise is just a waste of that money.But if someone uses a sound that I freely put out there for them to use, weather I specifically stated that that's what I wanted them to do with it or not, then I feel flattered, not stepped on, because they obviously thoguht that it was good enough for them as well as what ever project I made it for.Fortunately, as I said before, these people that are stepping up with better solutions, like Mason, NS, and Yukio might eventually make this issue fade away, so Kai, if you don't want people using your sounds, I suggest you start recording, and help change how people do things here with a library of your own, I'd love to see it, seriously, the more the merrier!

Personally, I don't think your reputation is terrible, and I don't consider you to be as bad as you obviously see your self, but I get where your coming from.Also, remember that this is just 1 community of many, both offline and online, so banking your reputation on it is probably going to end in sadness more than happiness, since allot of people here can be pretty immature, either because they are young, self entitled, or just that way.I know from first hand experience how depressed you were just a few months ago even, and I already forgave you for what happened with me on the UP Betatesting team, and also accept that part of it was also my fault, for hounding you so much when you were obviously unable to cope with it at the time.You aren't the only developer that leaves a scattering of unfinished projects in their wake, it's just part of the creative process, but if I had any advice to give, it would be to always try and be honest to 
 your self about how you truly feel, to accept it, and to work around it instead of banging your head against the wall trying to change it all the time.Also try to remember the human connection, your customers are people, your betatesters are people, your co-developers are people, and they all have their flaws, but also their strengths, so you can't just ditch them, pick them up again, hate on them and then expect them to accept you, it will take a while for them to trust you again, but the respect was never truly lost for all but the most judgmental of them anyway.I too struggled with quite severe depression for a good year or more, and still do today, though in a more moderate way, so I understand how you feel and have felt in the past.But there is always hope, no matter how faint, and only you can distort it, it never leaves you, or at least that's how I see it...It sucks to be an intelligent and visionary type of person sometimes, because 
 you depend on the admiration, respect, and acceptance of the people around you so very much, and when you attain it, your on top of the world, but when you feel you've lost it, you can't seem to find the motivation to try again.You just have to take small steps, measure it out, and not reach for the sky all at once, so that eventually you'll look back and wonder at how you got up there in the first place!

For the record, it's situations like this that reaffirm my decision to no longer contribute sounds which I've paid for towards any audio game development, beyond those which I've personally pledged to work on already. People in the audio games community would rather defend the reappropriation of sounds and try to make those of us who contributed those sounds the bad guys, rather than condemn such activities, simply because continuing to condone such activities gives them new toys to play with.Also for the record, I do buy all of my sounds. If you follow my Twitter, or ask people who do, you'd know that I am fairly regularly broadcasting libraries which I've purchased. For sound whose libraries do cost too much, I do buy individual tracks to use, as was the case with a lot of Swamp's inventory.So about that BS and misinformation...

 her sound designer in this community used one time for a game or a mud's soundpack or a mod or something.This is partly why I'm so excited about all these new libraries coming out, put together by people in our community with their own recording devices and home, work, and school environments, because the licensing is clear, the royalties are non existent, and purchasing them supports members of this forum, instead of massive, faceless corporations who make billions of dollars a year.I would personally never use sounds directly from Swamp in an audio game, and I would even go so far as to avoid using similar sounds, but I am under absolutely no obligation to do so, I simply wish not to come off as tacky or unoriginal, since it makes the hole game look that way.But no one has any real rite to question anyone else who does, and it's getting quite tiresome to see people doing it so much, so when one of the few people that should really know bette
 r makes a statement that throws a wrench into the already gummed up works, it's pretty frustrating.I'm not being sarcastic when I say that I appreciate and respect your work either, by the way, but this misinformation leads to allot of foggy gray areas that are really much more black and white.I would also like to point out that, unless specifically proven to be otherwise with court admissible legal documents that outline the purchase of every single sound someone uses, it's almost impossible to say weather they just Torrented them, grabbed them off a friend, got them off an old file sharing site that's still up, ETC, or not.And in my personal experience with the 4 or 5 developers that I've talked with about the subject, most of them well known here on the forums, almost no one buys all or even a significant portion of the sounds they use in their audio games, especially the free ones, simply because of the massive cost and lack of a
  dedicated team or adequate recording equipment.This has been going on since the very beginning of audio games, and to be honest, if you want people to keep making games, then your just going to have to get used to it guy that always asks if you've gotten permission from Aprone if you can use the sounds from Swamp in your dinky little alpha stage sidescroller.That kind of ridiculously off the mark idea about copyright is exactly what half the people on this forum now think is the truth, and Swamp, though a great game with great sound design, was sadly a major  reason for it.And personally, I don't get what all the fuss is about anyway, if I use unlicensed sounds in a free game, then I already know that's against the law, but I also know that no one cares because you can't sue for funds if no funds were obtained from the sale of the product.  And if I'm using licensed, payed for sounds, then obviously, since common sense dic
 tates it, I'm going to insist on decent encryption for them because doing otherwise is just a waste of that money.But if someone uses a sound that I freely put out there for them to use, weather I specifically stated that that's what I wanted them to do with it or not, then I feel flattered, not stepped on, because they obviously thoguht that it was good enough for them as well as what ever project I made it for.Fortunately, as I said before, these people that are stepping up with better solutions, like Mason, NS, and Yukio might eventually make this issue fade away, so Kai, if you don't want people using your sounds, I suggest you start recording, and help change how people do things here with a library of your own, I'd love to see it, seriously, the more the merrier!

Ahoy allThe promotion is  quite awesome and the games are  a steal at this price. So for those who have been wanting to get their dirty hands on these but still haven't, this is as good as it gets. Go ahead and get em!.I bought Audio rally racing for IOS.While its rather simplistic it is quite fun on ios and it actually played better on ios than on pc imoIt could still  be  improve,however. I.E keeping your best score on a particular track, record best time for each track and let you know when you had broken your previous record and so on. Game center support I.E achievements and such wouldn't have hurt any,either.And as for the new space encounter I believe about $7.99 is actually quite good so I might get it if I can get paypal to work. Not much hope for it,though.grryf
