I would suggest german or dutch. Dutch is very similar to english in some ways but the grammar will give you some trouble. English is very easy compared to other languages because you don't have that many endings to the verb and the tenses are easy to master. Just for comparison think that in romanian we have a different ending for the verb for each person, the endings aren't the same for all verbs and the plural is irregular unlike the english one where you add an s almost all the time.

When it comes to the new space exploration we're talking about, buying a shuttle will be useless. A standard class shuttle has impulse only speed and cannot venture beyond the soar system it was bought in. To truely visit other worlds will require what is known as warp or hyperdrive ability, it just too far at sub light speeds. Consider this, even earths nearest neighbor is 4.3 light years away, and even at 90% the speed of light, its close to 5 years of travel time.Most of our new star systems are going to be 20 to 50 or even a 100 light years away. This means joining the crew of one of the big ships, that have this warp or hyperdrive ability. its not somewhere you can go on your own in a small 10 by 10 sized space can.Now, given that, there are plenty of specialized duties aboard such ships. Stellar cartography, spectral analysis, habital zone analysis, security. and many more.In short, these new abilities are cooperative efforts over many people.

Personally, I have never liked trackers, but I haven't tried many. Which tracker(s) have you found work better than QWS for your purposes and why? Do you have useful vision which would make these things easier to work with?The trackers I"ve tried are Famitracker and Open MPT. While it is posssible to use both as a blind person, it is difficult at best and migraine-inducing at worst because once you're in the tracking grid, you're on your own. While extensive keyboard navigation is supported allowing you to physically do a lot of things, screen readers won't even begin to tell you what you're doing, so you have to do it all by ear and by mind. If you mess up and need to go back, it takes more concentration than I possess to go back and fix it. The hardest part for me is keeping track of what columns I am on, and not being able to  immediately see where I'm going. If you've ever done MML, which is what I used before playing with tr
 ackers, then you may have a better understanding of what I'm trying to describe, but even then with MML the concentration goes the other way. i.e. in trackers you primarily are listening and using your memory to know where you are because screen readers can't read stuff to you, while in mml the screen reader tells you everything you'd ever want to know and it is up to you to keep everything in a musical context. They're both very interesting challenges, and actually fun if you're in the right headspace for it.In QWS if I want to work like a tracker I use the note editor. While by no means a tracker, it is a grid-like approach to entering notes, which I often find myself using when doing heavy sequencing work. While I play stuff on a midi keyboard, I end up delicately sculpting it so much that I might as well have just sequenced it in note editor, but I digress.In note editor you are in a sort of grid where left and right arrows move horizontall
 y between steps which you can set the size of with the snap value. Up and down arrows move chromatically through notes and will play one if it is touching the horizontal position you're at. Alt left and alt right will make the cursor jump to the next note so you don't have to find your notes on the grid. Pressing K, L, S and V will focus on the key, length, start time or velocity property of a note respectively, f5 and f6 moves that property by small steps, and f7 and f8 move it by larger steps. In the case of the length and start time property, F5 and F6 will change them by one unit of the snap value, while F7 and F8 will snap them to the nearest beat. D is used to delete a note, I is used to insert a note, and M is used to memo a note, useful for copying a note and its properties.People will sometimes complain that screen readers don't speak enough in the note editor, but I'd rather have that than break my concentration. Every change you make gives you a
 udible feedback so you're not stumbling around wondering where you are, like you would in my experience with trackers. Unfortunately the QWS manual isn't very helpful in describing how to use the note editor, as it focuses more on the GUI. But, if it confused you as much as it did me, you can download a set of tutorials from James Bowden's site which explain in detail how to use the tool. It also covers other useful topics well.Now, just because I am a huge fan of the note editor doesn't mean I have an opposition to learning how to use trackers. In fact, I really want to get into tracking, but I haven't found an effective way to do it that's not exhausting. It must be pretty darned easy for sighted musicians to use trackers... just look at Famitracker and Open MPT demos. I am particularly impressed by Virt's nes music. While I know it takes a lot of skill to be able to make those things, I know I could do similar things in the realm of QWS, 
 but for a blind person, using a tracker seems to be much, much harder than any of that. Which is unfortunate, because my favorite computer music formats, for the most part, are tracker based.

Though I have always up to now considered French a very difficult Latin-based language, I have begun to think about taking up courses in French. It is a language of culture, melody, art, and it sounds musical and melodious too. I recommend it to you if you want to enrich your vocabulary and pronunciation. Hello everybody, we played also few matches on January 8. The best score in league for now has Dalibor with  9 points 3 matches won and 0 lost. There is also Aaronr who has 9 points 3 matches won and one lost but it doesn't really matter cause only points can matter .Dalibor has got to play one more match in his group so if he wins it he'll definitely go to the next round  as a player with best score. Aaronr already finished all matches so,  for now he is the only one who goes surely to the next part of our league. I am sorry because I made mistake and before match Aaronr VS Nyarlathotep already wrote that Aaronr has got 9 points, before that he had 6 because he lost against Pragma  and won against Nikola and Basti. Yesterday he defeated Nyarlathotep  and really got 9 points     We have also Pragma who after all matches has 3 points and he is definitely eliminated from the league. Him luck didn't follow really much but hope he'll join the next league and will do better. You keep all Gold and Time Crystals and key items like Aura Potions when you start a new game. If you somehow lost your items between runs, please send a support email to us in the in-game settings menu, and they will work to restore your missing Gold.Again, you are supposed to keep your Gold and Time Crystals between runs, and this is the behavior for most of our users. Right, its unplayable, I really can't wrap my head around how people deal with it. I also can't wrap my head around how the staff there can set the bar so low. Like I said, I know a lot of hard work went into it, but when you let long standing issues go on like that without trying to fix them, without acknowledging them, you're essentially saying well, we don't give a shit, it is the way it is, take or leave. Well, I'll leave it if that's the kind of image they want to put out. the only reason I brought it up is because its disappointing to me that essentially a good game is under all that system crap that's going on over there, and its a shame that we all can't experience it for what it should be.Candidness is what I respect, that if its something truly problematic to fix, or impossible, you come out and say it. I don't like cloak and dagger tactics when it comes to dealing with your player base, just ignoring an issue that way.

I have updated the program with 2 new keys. The space bar acts as an easy button and the enter key acts like a bullshit button. I also added a couple sounds to the fail folder. Just click the link in the first post and you should be good to go.

Oh yeah, I agree, it would be great if the enemies could collect and use items as well. Another suggestion are Missions in the style of multiplayer games as well, just in this single player. That would be awesome. And maybe some modes like dead match, team deadmatch and capture the flag and the like. These things in a single player experience like ground killer is one could make this game even better and funnier than it allready is.

All that's required is having equipment capable of recording a useable-quality recording (uncompressed, no clipping, minimal room noise or echo, etc.) and a voice that we like for one of our characters.

I actually wouldn't mind going without a notetaker, except for one problem. I bought a Focus 40 Blue from someone I know, and while it's great for composing long messages and such with my Iphone, the problem lies in the fact that reading books with it is much more sluggish than it would be with a notetaker.I found that the only real way to read .brf books, or any text format for that matter, is to use Voice Dream Reader. And that's damn cumbersome, because every few lines, a percentage pops up, which you need to wait until it disappears off the display before you can continue reading. And that few extra seconds really kills the flow of my reading and is quite off-putting. I've stopped reading books because of this problem, to be honest.

Actually, with English, I think it depends on how you look at it. It may be easy when it comes to pronunciation, but it's probably very difficult with things like grammar and spelling, with all the odd rules and exceptions. But then again, while English is technically my second language, I learned it at a very young age, so it's difficult for me to say.

Though I have always up to now considered French a very difficult Latin-bassed language, I have begun to think about taking up courses on French. It is a language of culture, melody, art, and it sounds musical and melodious too. I recommend it to you if you want to enrich your vocabulary and pronunciation. Note, though, French has a diverse linguistic source, so its vocabulary is prosperous. In pronunciation it is perhaps the most difficult language in the group of Latin-bassed languages, or those that have a Latin influence, as it is the case of English. English is originally a Germanic language, but if you give a piece of writing to a person who does not have a particular knowledge in English, he/she will distinguish it as a Latin language rather than a Germanic one.Anyway, another language I'd recommend is Italian. Italian's vocabulary is not a stressful difficulty for you as a native English speaker, but if we are talking about its grammar, well... perhaps 
 maybe... it is.I've been studying English for eleven years, and this one is the twelfth. English feels to me the easiest language in the World because so it is. While about Italian, I've been studying it for about 5 years, but very sadly, Ive not been able to master it as I've done with English which I study in my faculty academically.Cheers!

Hi folks,Many thanks for the work that's gone into this so far.  I'm trying to develop an NVDA add-on to accomplish the same thing, but I'm having trouble with one particular area.  Namely, actually finding the edit box on screen to type in a bet.  I know you can configure hotkeys to set the amount to various percentages of the big pot/blinds, all in, etc, but could anyone give me any tips on where exactly the box is located to type a custom bet?Thanks!

Hey guys, pretty exciting update...So, as you've noticed, we still haven't announced any stretch goals. This is our bad - we weren't prepared for how quickly the game was funded. So we've been trying as best we can to lay out specific stretch goals, figure out the price points for those goals, and then prioritize them. That's been a little difficult since we're all running all over the place with busy lives, and are communicating by email.But we do have our first stretch goal decided (in fact as soon as we can figure out a reasonable price point for our final stretch goal we'll have them all nailed down), and as of the last time I checked, our project has already met the funding needed to accomplish our first stretch goal! What that means is you've already enabled us to do the first thing on our list of thing we want to do to make the game even better than it was going to be - and we're already on our way toward stretch go
 al #2!Anyway, expect more information on those goals soon, but I just wanted to let you all know that we've hit another milestone, and it's so incredibly exciting!

Help with the New ish XBOX One Update

Hey all. So today, I was fixing up some narrator settings and I went exploring to try and fix some things. I'm currently on the November update, and things have gotten confusing. I, for example, can't figure out where to go to turn on automatic updates, and I'd also like to set it up so that my audio does not turn down at all when I'm using Narrator. Also, the store seems to have changed, how do I check the price and see the release date?

Time to wine. Remolian gets no attacks at level 1. WTF? And he is level 25 and no good moves. Montor is ok, though he still has Aura master and electric shock for damage. Tarbaa, I will drop it if it doesn't get good move soon. Leafox does grate. I might drop  Remolian and bring an undead type into the team. I also couldn't get headstone amulet.

Severestormsteve, every now and then I'm asked about this, and I'm not sure if you and another guy coordinated this but just before noticing this post I was sent the same question via email.  I'm sure I've typed this out to explain it to a few people over the years, but I cannot seem to find any of the old letters, so here goes as I try to type this all out again without forgetting anything important.  Oh yeah, to save time I'll just point the email guy to here after I've typed it out.    Haha!I'm not sure which order is the easiest way to explain, so to start I'm just going to summarize the layout of a Swamp map file.  There are some loops involved, so hopefully it isn't overly confusing.  Af

Severestormsteve, every now and then I'm asked about this, and I'm not sure if you and another guy coordinated this but just before noticing this post I was sent the same question on Skype.  I'm sure I've typed this out to explain it to a few people over the years, but I cannot seem to find any of the old letters, so here goes as I try to type this all out again without forgetting anything important.  Oh yeah, to save time I'll just point the skype guy to here after I've typed it out.    Haha!I'm not sure which order is the easiest way to explain, so to start I'm just going to summarize the layout of a Swamp map file.  There are some loops involved, so hopefully it isn't overly confusing.  Aft
