Do what you know.I've heard time and time again by both small and large youtubers that the best way to not get burnt out is to just put out material on subjects that you personally care about.I think we both know that this channel probably won't get that big, it's just too much of a niche. Of course that's not to try and put a damper on things, after all look at Tommy Edison, but shooting for the stars right away is almost a sure path to failure. I'm guessing you know that already though, and hence, even if you think the topic will be uninteresting to your audience, I'd suggest still doing it, as long as it makes you happy.After all I'm guessing the channel is mostly for you, used as a creative outlet, as nearly all small channels are, with a secondary goal of helping people in your community out, and or spreadi
 ng the knowledge about this community.I don't want to presume though, could be anything... :-)Just remember that as long as your putting it out there, it's almost a certainty that someone is going to like it, you'd be surprised at the kinds of subjects that some channels are built around.Trying new things is good too of course, but I suggest doing that later on, once you've exhausted your own set of interests.On a side note, it's nice to see a female doing this, for the simple fact that all the similar AG channels get tiring. you also have a nice way of presenting things, with out much mumbling, lack of enthusiasm, etc.Allot of AG channels have no voice over either so, that's refreshing, plus I have to commend you on using such a mainstream and at times inaccessible service, even if you had sited help or have enough vision, it's still pretty cool.

Hello.I thought I'd post here so I didn't have to create a new topic.If their available can somebody give me links to the walking dead seasons 1 through 6 (and 7 if it's available) and links to all the resident evil movies audio described please? I tried listening to these without audio description and it's hard to figure out what's going on because none of the characters talk very much. If the walking dead and resident evil aren't described then forget it but if they are I'd really like to have them.

Hi.@Slj, it is not true that you have to learn python 2 before 3. That's probably something the author put in to force or scare you into using python 2. Either one is fine, the problem you have is that once you get good at programming you will need libraries to do certain things that python can't do itself. Python 2 has many libraries that have been finished, but python 3 still has many libraries that are still being worked on, or have been abandoned. For example wx python which controls mouse and keyboard input is fully developed for python 2, but the one for python 3 is still being worked on today. What I'm saying is you can't use a python 2 library for 3 and the other way around. Since you're a beginner, I would personally recommend using python 2 while your learning and then once you have the basics down move on to python 3. Python 2 supports older systems which is nice if you want backward compatibility, python 3 is faster and a little easier to
  use. There really is no good and bad, it all depends on you're personal preference.Hth.@Diego, I don't know what you mean by console. Just stick to using notepad for now it will make things a lot easier for you.

Hi,UltraLeetJ, basicly, what damage any weapon does depends on its attack,your attack and the enemies defense. obviously, the enemies you encounter have different levels, higher their levels,better their defense and attack.Their attack stat is used only for attacking you though,the higher their attack the more damage potential they have. however what damage their attacks do to you is dependent on your defense stat.Some weapons and or attacks pierce the defenses though, in which case the defense stat be it yours or enemies who ever is at the receiving end, takes entire damage which that weapon or attack does. good examples being water launchers,guns etc.Which brings me to the watermaster. Nothing that good,not in boss fights anyway,although maybe useful in mob situations. where in you are about to be swamped. 1400 isn't all that much damage or powerful even at and after the super wolf mode. so kinda useless,imo.He gives you the hyper booma
 rang again and again? why does the ninja hate me,then? I have visited the bugger quite a few times by now,and he hasn't uttered a single word about the hyper boomarang after that first time.Grryf

Hi,@Trenton +1 for the detailed post, however a small correction if I may.If you are wanting the easiest transition from IOS to Android, your best bet is to get either a Samsung Galaxy phone from either the S-Line, the A-Line,or the J-Line. All have a screen reader called "Voice Assistant"Unless the J line consists of something else or the device I am thinking of doesn't fall in the j line, all the phones in the J series in fact do not have Voice assistant speaking from personal experience here.The J7 prime 2017? for one.Grryf

I'm fairly sure that you can kill the plague vampire before the weather machine, but I might be wrong. He's a bit tricky though, does some pretty decent damage. Yeah, just kill the machine next time, see if there's a difference. I don't intend to die, so you'll have to pardon me if I don't test that particular theory myself.My problem with AA is always, always the same thing. I get to a certain point, and either I start racking up serious exp loss from deaths, or I go idle for a few months and forget where I was, or I get to a point where I can't seem to find new places to fight/grind/do quests. Usually it's a chain of the three (can't find new stuff, start dying a lot, go idle and forget what I was doing if I come back).Level 26 now, and actually just saw your character, Dark. lol You've got a lot of storebought gear on you, and could probably upgrade it to make yourself even more of a beast if you wanted to.

I don't really think that's a virus. I've had an S5, and the only case in which the screen can freeze is if it's wet. That's an intentional feature to prevent usage until it is clean again. Other than that, you might try checking your apps as it's definitely not a general issue.

Well, I beat the first chapter out of 4... didn't have any idea of what was happening during the in between parts, because menus are still not forthcoming.. but the game is definitely completeable. And that's without touching the online parts, assists, or anything of the other features in this game yet! Wish I had visual help... or at least some way to get menus.

That is exactly what it sounds like. I'd need to check how theta is used/declared elsewhere to figure out the best way to fix it, but this suggests it's some kind of scope conflict, where multiple thetas are being created and the right one is not being used.

Hi Trenton Goldshark.Do you own an android device?I think the Samsung device might be nice, however there is one issue.Turning on the screen reader.It says in the article that I need to scroll to settings and turn it on that way, but if I can't see, that's kind of impossible.What would you personally go with if you had to choose android? Interesting.  So here's what I did.  I created two new variables:double T1 = cosine(theta);double T2 = sine(theta);Then, I told the ball to move, with a theta of 4.3.  Logs showed that T1, or cosine(theta), was equal to 1.  Sine(theta), was shown as 0.  So next, instead of passing theta to move, I bypassed it, and simply changed theta manually to 4.3:double theta = 4.3;And now, the log has totally different values, and different cords:  T1 is -0.400799172079975, and T2 is -0.916165936749455.Ball is now at -0.014063128270208, -0.032146170735359, 499.803802490234.So that means somehow theta isn't getting updated correctly.  In other words, when I use:void move(double theta)And I say something like move(4.3), it's not actually updating it, even though the log says it is, or somehow it's not staying at that value.  Is that correct?

Hi.After listening to the apple avent today, i'm thinking of checking out android. Apple is great but they're not going in a direction I like.Glass phones, expencive price, not being able to listen to anything with a whired headset when charging.I know that I will loos alot of apps but I'm willing to deel with that.If I find android isn't for me, when I check it out in the O2 store, I have my IPhone to fall back on and can update that for a couple of years.So for those who use android, any tips, tricks, reasons you switched from apple to android?

I agree with that about adding a way to skip the beginning narration because I've heard it before and I go into the game often.I tried the game in 7.1 surround sound with my G930's. I dunno if its real surround or they do some sort of wizardry to fake it, but when you put that switch down on the left side, things do change in the soundscape.

Hi all,Many people record and upload their gameplays and reviews of audio games. So I thought I'd make a topic for my own. I started this back in 2012, but that thread was almost exclusive discussion on which file host to use rather than about recordings, so I've rebooted the thread now that hosting isn't as much an issue. The major companies with the power to lock people out of the internet have taken sides in the Culture Wars. Since Audiogames.net is hosted by Cloudflare, I will say nothing else on that subject, other than that apparently the Youtube algorithms for blocking and demonitizing channels doesn't even make sense in that context.Of course, when you have a platform whose selling point is the absence of witch-hunts, it will be used by about 5 Libertarians and 7 million witches. Samsung Galaxy S5 screen freezes with talkback

Hi folks,I am currently using a S5 with Talkback, but I get weird screen freezes every now and then where the screen is on but I can't interact with anything.  Sometimes the vibrations still go off when I navigate, but it stops talking other times it does not respond at all.This is especially frustrating when I have an incoming call.  The phone rings, but it does not respond whether  I tap or swipe or do anything.  It usually unfreezes when I lock the screen for a few seconds and then unlock it.  Obviously this is not an option when I am receiving a call.  Is this issue a general issue people experience, with Android, or is my phone just garbage? All my blind friends keep telling me to get an iPhone.  I think Talkback works fine and I don't need a new phone, especially not one as expensive as an iPhone, but if this is a general issue with Android devices I may reconsider.

One of the newest games, The Blind Guide, was written in BGT as well. This just proves that BGT will not die so easily, although it's no longer maintained. Even VB6 is used nowadays which is years and years older than BGT, but it still works. So BGT will keep working as well, as long as Microsoft's DirectX components are compatible with Windows.

As someone who learned and used Python since 2009, I'll say go for Python3. Many of my Python2 code worked with not much need for convertion. Of course, there are differences, but as a starter you even won't notice them at the beginning.

Unless your x velocity is also unaffected, the first thing I'd check is acc.y, since that's the only part of that equation which could sed vel.y to 0. The only other possibility is that theta is somehow getting set to 0 before vel can use it, but that looks unlikely based on your code.

I play diablo 3 on the xbox one because it's easy on my hands. I have a legally blind friend I play with sometimes. If you tap or hold down left trigger when attacking, your character will automatically face the targeted monster. Other members in your party can see your equipment and skills, so if you play with someone sighted online, they can help you with your upgrades - that's how my friend and I play.

@SLJ, you don't need to learn Python 2 before learning Python 3. In fact, I'd say learning Python 2 before 3 hinders you a little because there are several differences between the two languages (like Python 2 have multiple different types of strings and Python 3 not having such a thing). Yes, a lot of stuff is written in Python 2. But a lot of stuff is written in Python 3, too.

Ok, I am noticing something.  The theta value is not having any effect on the direction of movement, as it should be.  I have:vector vel((acc.x/M2)*cosine(theta), (acc.y/M2)*sine(theta), grav.z);Then, in move:void move(double theta)B.pos += vel*DT;I have it set to print the cords of the position to a log file for me, solely for testing purposes.  Keep in mind that I have slightly broken convention, in that I use the Z axis for height instead of Y, like I have seen in many cases.  I have read that either way is correct.  If that is wrong, please let me know.  Also, please keep in mind that the numbers are going to look skewed and weird (height of 500 is huge).  Right now I am solely testing to see if movement will even work correctly; the numbers at this point are simply arbitrary.  I wanted to give the ball plenty of height to get a real feel for whether direction was being factored correctly, etc.  W
 ith all that in mind, the first test I ran set theta to 1.  If my math is correct, that would be roughly 57 degrees, so the ball should travel in a slightly sharper diagonal angle.  For the first move, my log file shows:0.035087719559669, 0, 499.803802490234.Y is shown at 0 here, which means the ball is travelling totally horizontally along the X axis so far.  I expect X to increment more than Y slightly, given the 57-degree angle.  But here's the problem.  The very last line of the file, final move, shows:9.47366905212402, 0, 447.026672363281.Y is still 0 here, which means that the ball isn't travelling at 57 degrees, it's travelling at 90 degrees.  Next, I changed theta to 5, just to see if anything changed.  Theta of 5 is equivalent to roughly 286 degrees, I think, which means that the ball should travel to the left, very sharply diagonally.  I even let it travel longer, just to make sure.  First 
 line of log shows:0.035087719559669, 0, 499.803802490234.And last line shows:26.4209728240967, 0, 352.263275146484.That means that again, it's travelling strictly horizontally.  So what the hell?  Is:vector vel((acc.x/M2)*cosine(theta), (acc.y/M2)*sine(theta), grav.z);incorrect?

So excited for this project, keep up the amazing work.As an alternative note.. All of the people complaining about the mouse? It's not hard. It's just different. It only takes around 20 minutes to get used to, and they're literally only 5 dollars. If I can play swamp on the trackpad of a laptop from 2010, you can definitely play it with a wireless $10 mouse from 2017. The only people who don't want mouse functionality are people who have literally never played with a mouse or controller.

hahhahahaha great job, because I took around 100+ hours and a few deaths in normal. I have also done the super wolf mode, but I guess I levelled my sword too much its at 68 now. I did difficult too, and now am on hard . The small water coolers you get by turning the dial to 6 on 18.3 and in the secret landing of 18.2 though they take a while to show up. I am on level 230. I am trying to use less powerful weapons on hard mode to make you know, the game.. a bit challenging.

How many times do I have to tell you, Apple doesn't do 32 bit support because they don't want to. It's possible, but they choose not to do it. Papa engine, last I heard is open sourced. The games are lost to time unless something else comes. End of story.

@1, it depends on the type of server you want. If you want a literal server that runs it's own operating system, has it's own programs, etc., you'd best either purchase a new, separate computer dedicated to that purpose (those are quite expensive, but do work very well), purchase a virtual private server from a company such as Digital Ocean or Linode, or purchase a dedicated server from a company such as Liquid Web or In Motion Hosting. I'd highly recommend the second and/or third options because maintaining a physical server yourself can be tedious and time-consuming; with a datacenter managing it for you, you can have far more reliability than you could otherwise. On the other hand, if you just want to be able to host multiplayer games, such a setup as what I've listed is not req
 uired; in fact it may hinder you if you do go for it. You can happily run multiplayer game servers on your computer locally and just open up the port in your router to give it access to the universe, but don't run it all the time, 24/7 because it will deteriorate your computers performance and it's general usability over time.

Yep, stolen is even used when Ivan has rights to that source code. How ever it's not the point if he has a right to the source code or not, it's that he's using someone else's work to make his own better. Sam worked this on months, maybe even years while Ivan only worked for 2 to 10 weeks. And, as regards your phone shotgun, bought is an other thing that people like to use. When you buy a phone, you actually buy the licence for that phone, not the phone it self. Hi !  As a necro mage cleric I can confirm that is a very nice class combo to play. I'm questing on the main land since I'm level 29-30 and it has worked rather well for me until now. Being carefull, I can even sollow in some areas intended for group of 4 or more players. I'm actualy encountering some little difficulties with the hill orc king, but I have some strategies in mind and I haven't said my last word. lol  I'm level 33 necro with a necrocast of 48, I actualy use bone shield and bone armor. I have to improve my constitution a little more before removing it and find some equipment as armor and shield taht'll give me more necrocast. I have a manaregen of 58-59 with the energetic green demon. I go with 3 skeletal knights, 3 skeletal lich and a metal construct as a tank. For bosses or hard enemies I use the deadly coctail : rotting sphere + bloodmist.  My name is Takeda on the game and do not hesitate to ask me
  if you need a resurection or if I can help you in other ways on the tree newbie islands, around Ralnote, Trindsick and Cornia. About runs, since I'm the same kind of player as Dark I do not care very much for it and I only group in areas I have already explored before.  About the poison in the drow city I encountered a strange bug the last time I made this quest too :  The drow wizard attacked me when I entered his room. I couldn't even relax him whith my peace spell. So I created an alias to give him the tree items quickly and get out of the room. If I had not made this quest before with another charracter, I would never have known that I had to speak to this NPC to pursuit the quest. I'm not sure if it was a bug or if it was something wrong in my character's stats which made the wizard agressive.About shadow claw swamp, no, it's an area near dragon tooth, which has been oppened around 6 or 7 months ago, just beside the black

Sony won't be in the audience, the audience for these panels is primarily gamers, with some indie gamer developers there too. So think more about what you would like to say to them. For the developers in the room, both the xbox text to speech API* and the Unity accessibility plugin would probably be worth mentioning, together with Tolk* Narrator isn't available for games.. instead it's an API that sits there waiting for text strings to be passed to it, which it then speaks out. So the work to detect focus and send the text strings out etc needs to be done on the developer's end. Same as developing with Tolk.

As I know from the mail they left the dev account till the end of the cycle in 2016 of Jun or something like this and didn't pay for next year.But still they and I believe that they have the code or the games and waiting if somebody will come with big money.Remember that in the store are more than 5 years not updated applications smaller companies or individual people and they are still there.With app purchases it was their fault but I think, that they should left the applications in the store minimum Papasangre 2 or Audio defence. Why they created after few years new games if they saw, that it will not earn money?Next think is that the papasangre 1 wasn't developed primary for blind users. And I am sure if they could write that they need support from the community like as NVDA or tapinradio they should continue. Next think is, that the advertisement will earn them another money.

A few comments:1. Papasangre 2 is working only in IOS 10.x. Papasangre 1 is working in ios 11, but there are some limitations.I think, that it is not problem of 64/32 bit applications.2. As I read somewhere the first papasangre came with higher price about 4 or 5 usd but the apple refused to the 1 usd or something like this.3. Android is possible run both 654 resp. 32 bit applications, same windows and Linux and I don't see why apple shouldn't as well.4. The papaengine wasn't released for the reason, because they wanted money and they will share with big company who will pay as much as possible.5. About signing Ipa files, I am having older versions papa II is working but not papa 1, but I installed all of them on several devices two iphone 4s, ipad 2 and not required an applied.6. Problem is that I restored from the backup for me backup is full backup and not that it is downloading the files through the internet. In this cas
 e I asked if somebody is having the ipa files apple don't have problem to sign it because I bought but I dont' have them.7. About games there are many games but most of them don't work so well on IOS 11 and buy now something when are still some 32 bit applications in the store.8. Hmmm, the book just tells me to go and give it to  chief of the centaurs, but I've put in a bug report if it's a dangling quest line or similar, I did the lotus monastery quite some time ago so I don't think it's sending me there. As to shadowclaw swamp, if that is the one with the evil druid and the cursed ent I took care of that one around level 23 I think. I did use the staff for a while, but I can't recall what I ended up doing with it.
