I do everything correctly. I run the fix file first, install the game, and then I run the fix file again. The game does not want to load. I get an error 432. Troop 2.0 does work though. What should I do? Insert something about justice being blind here. However, I am going to point out that just because you are or may be doesn't mean you are the foremost authority on the topic. Also without being willing to show any bar credentials you can't use the fact you are a lawyer as an arguing point. This is the internet. I could say I'm a brain surgeon, but if I cant prove it then no one cares.Now here's the big problem that the forum faces, and that's. What do they do. I can't even say we at this point as it's really out of our hands. It's also out of my hands since I stepped down.The whole issue of morality vs. law is a tough one, and it really depends on which side of the fence you come down on. I have my opinions onthis, but I am just one voice in a sea of many and I've stated my feeling repeatedly.Regardless of that. there are two major things that have to happen.1. The management team needs to get together and decide once and for all what is going to be allowed and what isn't. As I've stated previously I could see an allowance being made if the transmission of audio-only versiosn of TV shows and movies did not break any copyright laws. I've asked for someone to show me concrete proof it doesn't, but people like Grryf fall back on the morality argument. Here's the problem though. a line has to be drawn somewhere, and this was the issue I faced when I was on the mod team. where is that line drawn. What do you and don't you allow? You obviously can't allow emulation as let's face it, that is a major copyright violation and there have been alot of legal goings on with that stuff. So then is it fair that mp3s of TV shows and movies get a free pass?Now I want to point out something else to you guys that you don't think about, realize, or probably care about. This forum and website whether we like it or not are viewed through a microscope. It is where mainstream companies go for information and advice about accessibility for blind gamers. I will not name names, but I am going to tell you that already one some what important figure in the accessibility community has written off this forum as a waste of their time. I constantly seeing people lament about how they want access to mainstream games, well this forum is your best chance of making it happen, but when there are all these pointless topics and infighting, that drives people away. Now. With all my points made, I hope the moderators make a decision, but here's the important thing. and that brings me to.2. What ever decision is made by thea management, we as users need to accept it even if we don't like it. Decisions are going to be made, and us as a community need to follow those rules. Also. if you can't accept the rules, then there is the door.I can only speak for myself, but I will say that when I as a moderator, I made suggestions and tried to do things that would insure the longevity of the audio games forum and website. So that 5, 10, 15 years from now there would still be a place where people could come and discuss gaming whether it be the latest audio game, or a cool new feature that made a console game all the more playable for visually impaired users. It really makes me sad that the forum that I spent so much of my time on is dying on the vine. I hope that people for once can work together to get something accomplished. When players die do to a bug, administrators and developers are going to be responsible and what they can do for bugged players isn't that much because usually they can't make sure what items the player was holding before their death, and the player can demand whatever they like. For example, they could have the name of the channel and then a small description written by the moderators of what they think about the channel. I think this would allow people to more easily and quickly find what they’re looking for. Alternatively, they could be listed in the table form. The table would say whether the channel has speech, whether the videos were edited and whether the person did streams or normal videos. It could also say how often the person uploads videos. I, too, feel extremely frustrated when I see that the common denominator of most of these topics going off the rails, to say nothing of the flood of clones, is the age range of the perpetrators, but there's just no way to ensure that people below a specified limit can't ever sign up. people lie about their age all the time. Of course, it also begs the question of what we would do with all of the younger members of this forum who are already users. We can't just boot them out. The fact I got off with a caution is a bit of a miracle for me .I disagree with the hole viewpoint of "we shouldn't be allowed to discuss cracks or clones nor should we distribute them". What you need to do is save every week once your monster is 4 with some months after that and save every week. When your monster dies, restore your old game and go freeze it. For example if your monster is 4 years, six months, and 2 weeks old and then it dies when it gets another week, go back to your save and freeze it when it is 4 years, six months, and 2 weeks old because then you know how long it has to live and you can max it out when you freeze it. The way you get monsters to really high ranks is that you train a monster until it is old and about to die, freeze it, then get a new monster, train it until it is about to die, freeze it, combine both monsters to make a new monster, train it until it too is about ready to die, freeze it, and then keep training monsters until they are ready to die, freezing and combining them until you have a super-monster in terms of power.For example, if you have a monster you trained heavily is peed, and then you combine it with another monster that had high speed, the creature you get will have extremely high speed. Each time you have a baby from that sequence of combining, the starting stats will be a little bit higher than the generation before and you train the monster up to get even stronger by the time it is ready to die than the previous generation. thus making your monsters stronger each generation.Your new baby monsters after combining aren't going to be as powerful as their parents directly, but they will start with much higher stats than either of the parents started with on average. With a well-trained monster, after a couple generations, starting out with stats below 100 in anything will be rare and some stats might even start above 200 after a couple generations. For whatever the reason, JAWS will not read the movement with my arrow keys in putty. Do not get me wrong, I can use the JAWS or invisible cursor to review the screen. This is mainly a problem when I want to edit things via the command line. The VIM editor on Linux is one such case. Editing a config file on my Pi is another such case.
