I am still working on it, I know I promised a release back in February but we had to refactor the whole project. It is for the best though.Basically, to explain what max-lib does in comparison to before:Before, max-lib was basically a set of tools to make an accessible game engine, kind of like an open source but walled-garden type game engine, but with the ability to be broken up into parts and imported into other game engines. The design has been heavily abstracted from this.Now, Max-Lib is more like an environment that can have UI modules added into it. ItA good way to think of this is, when I was first developing Braillemon, I was really contemplating hard how to approach the topology of how you interact with the game. For example, should it just be menus or should you be able to walk around? I went with the latter but it would be kinda cool to have a menu-only pokemon game. What Max-Lib does is use a two-fold UI system to allow a topology both for how you interpret the game environment as well as how you interact with it. Obviously this changes a lot of things because it means that any game developed with max-lib either as an extension or as a standalone will have the ability to have its UIs changed out like this. We want to start with basically a "standard" visual UI and a console-based UI and work from there. Right now my partner is working on some complex cross compatibility stuff, and is currently sidetracked with a side project we're both working on for a few days. So basically this will allow you to, in an open source environment, swap out UIs for games. Which means that we should be able to make games developed in max-lib blind accessible relatively easily without requiring corporate involvement.Also, max-lib references resources in sort of hierarchy so that resources can be extended. For example, color blind assets can be added even if color blind definitions didn't exist in the original distribution.The goal is to make the game engine do all the work, but still allow developers to create private code for games and have them interact with this system efficiently.I need to stress that while its nice that gaming companies finally seem to give a single shit about blind gamers, we should be more wary, because its pretty clear to me that they are trying to take control of the accessibility gaming communities. They have made it transparently obvious that they care about blind people becoming consumers, not necessarily the quality of that consumption - a problem that blind people have dealt with for decades regarding accessibility, being treated as constantly second class. We should remember that they are employees working for a company with private assets and privately held accessibility (including accessibility owned by corporations but distributed by open source means) has been a way to control accessibility and likewise how blind people interact with computers - having massive social implications that most members of this forum have felt.I cannot stress how serious this is, it has very serious social implications and game development is an experimental field for accessibility that allows accessibility to spread to other technologies. By allowing this sort of infiltration consistently into our communities we take away the production away from the blind - max-lib aims to reverse this by allowing communities like ours to produce modules instead of relying on what a corporation decides is accessible enough for you.But I digress. When we get a working build, we are really interested in having devs work with it and possibly even help build out the blind accessibility UI modules. @7Modern MathPlayer works for all browsers, *if* it works.  For some people it just doesn't work no matter what you do, and as far as I know no one knows why this is.  But it's not limited anymore.Mouse control stuff is shift+nvda+m to move the mouse to the current navigator object, nvda+left bracket and nvda+right bracket to left and right click.  At least if you're using laptop layout.  It takes a little practice, but 99% of the time there's clickable math on a page it's Mathjax, and Mathjax has a context menu that can be opened by right clicking.  There might be a more official way to get to it though, I just don't know what it is.   But once you are, in settings, you can set the renderer to plane source, and that will show you whatever the author published it as, and more than half the time it's LaTeX or something else readable.

Depends what part you're on, the area before the door is straight forward.After you go in the first door there's a switch you have to find and the way to the next floor is on the east. Even though the water is right next to the pathway it's on different levels and the ladder or ramp is on one spot.The ice area is way more confusing going up and down stairs to get to other parts of the same room and also has high and low paths.And you move with the directional buttons at lower right.

I seem to recall looking at math player and reading that it was only for Internet explorer. Is that accurate now? Asking because the last time I uninstalled it because it was not functioning, I had a big issue with NVDA not reading half the objects, apparently uninstallation breaks a few things. Nah, I don't miss that at all. The only reason Android ever had these buttons is because on Android, sliders didn't work right and could not be properly managed with Talkback until Android Oreo or close to that at least. One thing I like about the IOS apps is that stupid buttons like that don't get in the way of swiping order. If you want to change how much the Youtube slider goes by, you can do that in the Youtube settings. Changing the double tap seek time also effects the voiceover slider. So you could, for instance, make it go by 10 seconds or even by a minute.

The game I'm talking about a game called "Legend" basically you start as a person in a historical or mythic setting and travel throughout the world and time. It is sort of a less silly, and better-made version of 4dimensions, except the settings are more varied based on real-world places and mythologies. Th eplayer base is more friendly, though they still don't like you to tell others how to do quests, though you can give hints like "try asking X from the person you're talking to." or something like that. Areas in the game include stuff like Puritan Salem, the Nile River delta, Victorian England, The Somme in WWI which features dogfighting planes if you want to do that, and th enewest area, Camelot. The game has a lot dedicated to detail and while the game is not historically accurate, the mythological zones tend to follow the spirit of the myths and cultures pretty closely, and the real-world locations while they often contain mythical creatures or fictional characters, represent what the world was like a lot more than 4dimensions does. and the setting has things like Camelot and the Arabian nights, but you aren't going to find just random fantasy stuff without a folkoric or historical basis in the game. For example you will visit Beuwulf and there is a whole area of the game dedicated to him and that story, but you will not be battling orcs on the elemental plane of fire.If a fictional character isn't in the public domain, you probably won't see it in the game.Also, the skill system in the game is classless and what skills you have is based on a mix of stats, what time period and culture you are from, and what skills you use your practices to learn, though you can get a lot of freebies by doing quests, which like 4dimensions, are often involved and sometimes obscure.

You now what i miss about the ios version of youtube? Those handy 10 seconds back and forward buttons that you have on android. I wish they implemented that into the ios app rather then changing the way time of the video is shown and messing wit the status bars.

Ok, before this topic gets closed i have to clarify some things really quick.1. I also dont so much aggree with the topic still beeing open. It doesn't throw so much drama at the moment but this is, as simba said, asking  for trouble.2. A lot of people seam to think that because i guessed tonios hackers password, i am the person that hacked tonio now. This does not get me surprised so much after all especially that the most people that are saying that have general personal problems with me, the people will know that they are mend, i won't say their names to not start a fire. And now, i am kind of forced too, how i guessed the password. Here are the facts i had about the hacker. There where 2 major groups of facts available and i tried both. So it could either be catherine ramsay, aka techgamer, which is if she speaks the truth born in 2003. And then we have alice, a random that never showed up in the community, but she her self mentioned that she was 12. So she is born either in 2007 or 2008. Because i don't think the brains of both are bigger then a sd cart(or even better the cart has been stolen by leon machere), i thought that they maybe so stupid to use the usual name/birthday shit passwords. I tried first on catherine and her birthyear and it failed. Then i tried Alice first with 2008, and that did already work. Then the first thing i did was changing the password to a string that i told tonio after wards and i also changed his email address back to normal, while the email was set to a non existant email any way that could also never work in that form (i...@alice2008.duckdns.org can not work because duckdns doesn't support mx records). And now, A bit of a rand. Who do you think you are acusing me of hacking one of my best non community friend that i know for like 4 years, before i came here? Think again, this makes 0 percent sense. That could damage his reputation greatly and if the hackers wouldn't be so stupid as techgirl and didn't change the profile info that could have big consequences because tonio would have to prove that his account got hacked. Especially now to people like supremekiller come on dude. You have no evidance that it was me but just say that out of nowhere. And same to gamer2004. When this would have happened in 2018 where i tried every thing to promote my self, lost shitty etc, yes then that would not be surprising. But only because such actions could have come from me in 2018, does that mean i would still do that? Also nice thanks, i tried to help the forum and tonio from geting more drama and the thank is that i am geting acused of hacking.3 @ignatriae, i don't remember the post number but you will know what i mean. How can we safely select the enemy we want to shoot at? How can we do things like crawl under cars or trucks for cover? Then again, I hadn't really put much of Luke or Samantha's backstory into my project before Sable expired, but suffice it to say both of them have inner demons, namely survivor's guilt, that they'll have to voercome. @5I tried once, but the primary problem was that you need a good XML pattern-matching language in order to do something general.  Also quite probably audio cues.  If you dig around in the Mathplayer folders you can see their rules, whereupon you will try to read them and come to understand just why it's probably no longer maintained.Honestly this is probably a good fit for Rust or Haskell, but 4-5 years ago when I tried we didn't have Rust and I wasn't experienced enough to realize that trying to make a DSL in Python was stupid when I could just use another language, so meh.  As long as there's enough LaTeX around I probably won't bother trying again, or I'll just invest in a high quality braille display at some point.But overall it was absurdly stupid to try to get everyone to use MathML, which describes things 100% visually, then write a pattern matcher on top of that that pulls semantics back out.  "Hey, I know, how about we print books and run them through a scanner? If the font is always this specific font and size it'll kind of work!" levels of stupidity there.  And it was incredibly naive that anyone ever expected wide adoption of semantic MathML as well.I have it on good authority from someone reliable that Freedom Scientific almost, almost did math accessibility in the early 2000s or so, with an actual blind math PHD student.  It was going to have audio queues and basically all the stuff all of us who know some higher math dream of.  But it got axed for some reason, if I recall because a bunch of people left and it was happening right as FS went downhill and stopped doing anything and just generally became crappy as a company, their "you didn't buy a supported laptop from our specific list, no wonder our software unauthorizes itself all the time" phase that they're still in as far as I know.It's a shame though.  We should be in a better world, but in many ways a world in which the k-12 subset is satisfied and literally no one else is is worse than if we just didn't have math accessibility because now no one is ever, ever going to put significant money into seriously solving it.  The k-12 subset had braille and still needs the same number of teacher's assistants and stuff as they did before Mathplayer happened, it's not saving them significant resources.  So no one wins at all, and we kind of lose actually.
