okay. an update.I tried installing the games on an XP VM, and when I opened Star Trek Final Conflict(installing Microsoft .net Framework prior to doing so as it was required) and I received the following peculiar error without the quotes. "If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost." with a close button presented. What can I do from here, as I cannot contact the developers of any of the three games I am having problems with because of the passing of the developer, the lack of support for the title, or the mysterious vanishment from the audiogames community. Thanks for any further help on this issue.

I am sorry for the lack of specificity. Let me elaborate a bit more. My issue has appeared in 3 specific titles: Rail Racer demo, The Horse Racing Game, and Star Trek Final Conflict. They have worked on Windows 7 before, as I used to own a Windows 7 machine. When I open these games, a message appears that the game's executable has stopped working and a solution is being checked for by Windows. I have installed Direct X, still with no luck. Is any more information needed to help me with this issue? If so, let me know. Again, my apologies for the lack of specifics.

You want more people to develop more games professionally for this community, right? If you do, then I suggest that we be a little more polite toward our developers that use much time and effort into developing great projects that are few in number. I am even now thinking of refusing to release a game in the future to those that complain impolitely.I am sorry if I have been disrespectful, but it's just my thoughts on this whole thing. correction. It does work on Windows 8 and above, but not through direct execution. Here's how you launch it so it works:1. go to the directory you are executing.2. hit shift tab until you're on the address bar.3. Right-click it, and copy the address.4. hit windows+x and then a to go into administrator command prompt.5. type cd6. make sure the mouse is focused on the command prompt, right-click, paste the address in, and hit enter.7. type the name of the executable you want to launch, and press enter.note: cd must have a space before the address is pasted in.I hope this helps.

@guitarman, If you don't mind me asking, what type of laptop do you have? I think I have a way to fix your problem permanently. It has a thing to do with the bios of the computer. There is an otion in there the function key's "function" can be reversed so when the F key is pressed, it does what it is supposed to do, while when the function key is pressed in combination with the F key, it does the action for which it was designed before this modification. I must warn you that this method is extreme, and could damage your computer seriously if you do not know what you are doing. If done correctly, this method will give you very satisfactory results. I hope this helps.

Ironcross32 is correct, this belongs in the Off-topic room. As for the answer to your question, NVDA is usable with Windows 10, but is reported to be slightly sluggish (1 second delays on usual systems that upgrade. NVDA is not compatible with everything.

Hello.I would recommend VIPmud as a good mud client. the differences from the free and the paid versions are as follows:1. in the demo version of the client, you are allowed to play any mud for 2 hours before having to restart the client. If you are playing the mud Valhalla, which is what is the default it connects to, this restriction does not exist.2. You can only run 1 character session at a time in the demo version.3. No Mud Sound Pack support.4. You cannot use the debug mode.Those are all the things I can think of, and the free trial lasts for 30 days before the restrictions are put on you. The demo does not expire.This mud client does support JAWS and Window Eyes. I hope this helps you.

need help in Paladin of The Sky

Hello.I am really having trouble getting to floor 2 of internal electronics. I go forward and right, but I keep finding walls and no staircases. When I go forward, left, then right, I find 3 walls behind me, to the left of me, and to the right of me. Any suggestions of what I should do next? This been driving me crazy for months now! Thanks for any help

problem with connecting to the Vast Space Moo

Hello.As the subject states, I am having a problem connecting to Vast Space. I am using Vipmud to connect to muds and moos, but for some reason I cannot connect to this one. I have set the host to 176.126.244.7, and the port number to 1234. Is there a reason why I cant connect?

this doesnt make sense. I agree that Liam should make a free version of those games because right now, he gives an unfair advantage to users who have bought the game over users that havent and have tried the game out and thought, well this is fun! accidentally deleted judgement day trophies folder

Hello.As the subject says I accidentally deleted the trophies folder in the judgement day directory. I deleted it because that if it was deleted, all my trophy settings would be deleted too. It turns out that the settings were not deleted, but the sounds for the trophies were deleted, and none of the trophies can be played. I know you can clear your trophies through the registration and configuration program, but I dont want to delete my registration along with the trophies. does anyone know how to get the trophies folder back or reset the trophy settings in Judgement Day?
