As for the enemies' climbing capability, I avoided using it too much because the algorithm was very complex and sometimes they went in completely wrong directions. The Each AI scans the entire field and decides the tree or ladder to use in order to reach you, but it seems to misbehave for some reason. It happens very rarely though, as the field gets more complicated, you may see more enemies stuck at the unreachable positions. If I could implement, the limit would be somewhere between stage 8 or 9, unless the cause of the bug is spotted and fixed.

I am not familiar with 3d audio libraries or audio processing algorithms, so I can't discuss them deeply, but yeah, I want to talk.In bk2, all items except the hidden ones had sounds, indicating what they were located. Also, the elements of the game were quite simple. You could hear the game field only by your years, and you didn't have to use static object info so often for this reason.However, developing bk3, things got much more complicated, and I noticed 2 things.Firstly, as someone in this topic also mentioned, too many simultaneous sound playbacks makes players confuse, and also destroys the game's atmosphere. Imagine the game world with lots of beeps, or with loud/clipping wave of audio made by many item sounds playing at once. I'm sure you have had such experiences, and you can get what I mean.Secondly, when I want to add extra information that are difficult to indicate by audio, object info is a very good 
 solution. For example, I want to tell players which direction a surveillance camera is facing. When attempting to do this using sounds, I must use two sounds depending on which direction the object is facing, or which direction it turned to. This also means that players have to memorize the sounds.For these 2 reasons, I designed the game so that players would need to depend on the object info a lot. I get Ray's friend's thought, but I didn't came up with any better ideas other than using a menu-style information notification structure. I completely agree that audio games haven't progressed in these days. Lots of side scrollers, shooters, and so on. I hope that new technology or algorisms will be invented, and of course, I want to participate in such activities or experiments.

Question3You should turn off your afterburner when it's unnecessary. Press Tab/P to check your position, and if you are in the first place, you obviously don't need afterburner.

Press f8 to lower the music volume.About the secret casino, one of them is located at Osdigar(I don't know how people are spelling it, I'm reading in Japanese). It is at the area close to the cave. You can see it exists by checking the dialog message where a blank is inserted at the end of it. When you reached there, use the magic paper until you encounter the casino. It may create shops, but just dismiss them.

For example, if the character is equipping a shield, a two-handed sword can't be equipped. Same goes for a bow. You need to keep in mind that each character has only two hands.

Hi.Thank you for adding the Japanese channel. I would like to add one thing though.Currently, the game allows alphabets only for input. However, this makes some of us unable to type in their languages, such as Japanese, Chinese or Korean. Could you consider this issue?Maybe, replacing the non-standard input box with the inputBox function in the Windows API should solve this problem, just like swamp.

It seems that the Accessible Output2 library is old. Japanese players can't play the game normally with the library outdated because it failds to detect one of Japanese screenreaders and crashes. I don't know the latest version is up somewhere, but I mean the one used for the latest version of RS games. Can you take a look at that and replace the library with the fixed one?

I listened to the audio walkthrough, and can now make pots and drink. I have to get used to fishing. My fishing palls breaks everytime I try to fish. Running out of strings, the only choice remaining is to be killed by someone. lol

Hi.Translating Japanese games is an extremely hard job. There are a lot of walls; complicated environment needed to be prepared, scrambled translations, and difficulty for dealing with strings contains numbers or other paramaters which changes every time.Japanese games that officially supports translation is BK2 only right now. Actually, I once abandoned the translation of BK3 since it had become much more huge and complicated than expected. These titles(Including BK series and other Japanese games) are very difficult to translate without modifying source code or building a kind of translation program by the developer.Personally, Im very busy with school now. Im preparing for entrance exam of univercity, having to study hard since its very difficult. I wont have enough time to maintain my games or projects after April.After ending the exam, if the result was good, I want to restart my projects. Translating my existing game is include
 d in the projects.Im going to create a small-group beta team, and work on the translations. The job beta team members will do is to correct English errors or make the expressions realer after I translate the strings. All strings will be able to be modified by editing a simple text file encoded by UTF-8, meaning all team members can edit the file without having to change system locale setting.This may need a long time, and it cannot be started right now, but I think it isnt so bad.How does everyone think about this?

I also tried another zip file that Adel posted. Same number of files, same archive size, and same error. Hi.As the title says, I cant run Awesome homer because of wave file corruption. Im trying this several times, but the game keeps saying one of wave files is corrupted. I redownloaded the archive three times. I tried even changing the system locale. Does anyone know why this happens, or could anyone give me the working archive? I have Winkit installed, and am extracting Awesome Homer to the same location.

Hi.Maybe 3 or 4 days ago, when I was bored, I was searching something in my games folder, and wanted to play Monkey Business. I had played this game about 5 years ago, and I wanted to feel how the game was like.Yesterday, I completed the game and the bonus round was unlocked. But I completely forgot how to play it. Sorry for a lot of questions, but please help me with file encryption and decryption.Ive serialized a map data, encrypted it and saved it as a file. After that, I cant decrypt it correctly.I tried to write a simple test program to find the reason, but still no luck. Sorry for a lot of questions, but please help me with file encryption and decryption.Ive serialized a map data, encrypted it and saved it as a file. After that, I cant decrypt it correctly.I tried to write a simple test program to find out the reason, but still no luck. Hi.As the title says, I have a question about coding in BGT.Is there any ways to substitute different types of class handles in one array? I think I cant.I would like to handle many different types of objects in the game. For example, the game has robots, dragons, and demons as enemies, and pits, mines as obstacles, and other objects like items, switches. In this case, the only way I know is declaring multiple classes for each type of the object, and check them for each loop like this.for loop//enemies actions//obstacles actions//other objects actionsfor loop endThough I can use switch structure for coding different moves or strategies for each type of the enemy, thats very complicated I think.I thought it would be helpful if I could declare a array called objects, and place all class handles in it.If it can be written, I can do like this.for loopif(objects(i).condition==active) objects
 (i).act();for loop end(note:some characters were changed because they were blocked as errors by this forum)By doing this, each object runs its particular act function like robot.act, dragon.act, or elevater.act.
