AI Virtual Artist (AIVA) Hi all,Found a nifty new service that was probably most inspired by AI Dungeon that allows you to have an AI create music for you in various styles or influences. What they mean by "influences" is to upload a midi in a style of your choosing for it to attempt to create a similar arrangement, I guess.The only drawback I see thus far is, while apparently there are some blind people using it and creating tracks, they have Daws. I do not. I could change that immediately by buying Reaper but I don't know how to use it at the moment to do what I want. You can export the stems which is cool and then add your own stuff to it.AIVA has several daw-like tools where you can add effects, filters and the like depending on the style you choose. Unfortunately this appears inaccessible so as far as I'm aware, you have to rely on the auto settings for that and hope you get what you want.The free account is quite limited also. Video editor accessible with NVDA that doesn't buffer on playback Hi all,So I've been trying to find an accessible video editor and have had no luck.Reaper is crap with videos so don't even think about it especially with rendering.Replay Media Splitter: It opens videos and plays them back with no issues and even scrolling through with K and L keys is a breeze. Accessibility ends there, sadly.Virtual Dub 2: Accessible, but video playback buffers like crazy when hitting space to move through it to maybe trim some stuff.Keep in mind I am using a bootcamped Mac here but this should not be a problem. If Replay Media Splitter has no problems with playback, why do Reaper and Virtual Dub? Reaper is primarily for audio I know, but VD? Ugh.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Since OBS doesn't have a pause feature, I want to either remove pauses from videos where I was away and OBS was still recording, or join videos together to make one video.Thanks. These plots are a dime a dozen, but what makes this one stand out is the characters, audio quality, etc. Check it out.Another one that's going pretty good in the suspense area is a brand new podcast that just premiered called Congeria. The production reminds me a lot of good old dramas like Leviathan Chronicles. Making BGM for games Hi all,Curious, has anyone tried to use any software to create BGM easily, ex: Music Maker, Band in a Box, etc?I like the idea of BIAB generating music based on chords you type, would make it easy to produce a pretty good soundtrack that isn't 8-bit, if you're not looking to produce such a thing.I also no longer have any instruments to hook up to my computer to make anything with now, and GarageBand's onscreen keyboard is, well, let's just say people probably don't create/record entire songs with it.Thoughts? For those that are watching it and are current like myself, What do you think of the things that went down in this most recent episode?For those that don't watch it, I think it is seriously the best drama on TV right now, hands down. Where most dramas these days such as your crime dramas and your medical dramas focus on character-orientated stories and the plot is so-so, Mr. Robot focuses heavily on both to create a mind-blowing mystery about psychology, uses real world technology and hacks, and even fake sponsors to give the show added realism. Not to mention the alternate reality game.Plus, Earplay just made a skill called The Daily 5/9, an Alexa skill that was written for Mr. Robot by it's creator and takes place in the Mr. Robot universe.You should be able to find the first two seasons on the vault with audio description. Unfortunately the audio is in mono because of the stupid SAP channel here in the U.S. If you get through with those and want to watch season 3, if you're in the US and have cable, you can watch it on USA at 10:00 PM eastern. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and The Defenders. Set in America, Frank Underwood does everything he can, including blackmail, murder and more, to get into the White House, and stay there.The OA - Very interesting new drama that explores the paranormal and spirituality. You will need an SOL account to read them, and any other story past chapter 1.I am thinking of creating a Galbadia Prime Online universe. Those who have read chapter 3 of Galbadia Prime Online will know what kind of VR game I am creating here. Making full album videos on Youtube Hi everyone,I'm not sure if there's an app similar to UMusic for Mac, but basically I want to start doing something on my channel that I'm not sure how long it's been going for. People upload full albums as one single video on Youtube and put timestamps within the description to jump to each song on the album. Making the mp3 with the albums songs joined together isn't an issue. For the albums I want to upload and promote, I have the artwork for them, so does anyone know if there's an app like UMusic for Mac that'll take a JPG and overlay it with the music and make it into a video? If not, I suppose i can use the Windows version on Bootcamp and edit on the Mac.How does one insert timestamps into a youtube video? Is it one of these things where you can just type it into the description area or in comments? Ex: 0:00 for the beginning of the video. I'm not sure if, on the Mac, you really can create good music using the onscreen keyboard. I really want Band in a Box's feature where you can import audio and it creates a similar track, useful for covering songs and you want your own music for it. I wonder if I can get my associates in Libberal Arts and then take an online class here, such as a programming course--I did try to take an online VB6 course in High School, but the teacher was extremely unaccomidating.Plus, I'd be fooling myself to take a VB6 class--the only one I know of that uses it is Aprone and others previously only in our community. Official Leviathan Chronicles Update Hi everyone:As taken from the Leviathan Chronicles Facebook page:Hello Everyone,It’s been way too long, and I wanted to personally apologize for the length of time that’s passed since reaching out. I also wanted to provide an update of the status of The Leviathan Chronicles. I understand the burning questions on everyone’s mind is if Leviathan is dead, or when the remainder of Season 2 will be dropped.Let me start with the punchline: Leviathan is going to continue and more chapters are coming.For reasons I’ll get to shortly, I haven’t been able to work on Leviathan for the past year. But as I’ve mentioned previously, the vast majority of the remaining episodes of Season 2 is completed. There is still some extensive work that needs to be completed on Episodes 39 - 40, as well as the Season Finale episodes. There will also be an expansive Epilogue episode that will accompany The Director’s Cut.During this absence, I’ve heard from hundreds of you, more than I could personally reply to. The vast majority of you (though not all…) have been kindly concerned about me, and wanted to understand the reason for the delay. It’s very sad and hard for me to write this but my wonderful and beautiful wife was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer more than a year ago, and has been fighting bravely to beat this horrible disease and enduring grueling regiments of chemotherapy and radiation. Because of this change in our lives, we’ve moved to San Francisco for me to accept a job in finance, and to provide the best care for her.Obviously, a tremendous amount has been going on which hasn’t allowed for much energy or resources to be devoted to The Leviathan Chronicles. I can’t tell you how much this gnaws at me every single day. I miss the thrill of releasing new episodes, or getting to collaborate with such amazing artists. For me, Leviathan has always been far more than a story but a treasured journey in storytelling and a rewarding, nourishing place to allow my imagination to escape. I love my characters and I cannot wait to share them with you again in the near future. There a pretty wild road ahead.But it’s important for me to communicate clearly that I do not have a set time when I can firmly promise that the remaining episodes and future seasons will be completed. My sincere hope to try to get episodes out by the end of 2016. And while I can’t offer the definitive timeline that I know many of you want (and truthfully deserve), what I can offer are some of the concrete steps we are taking to bring Leviathan back to your ears:- I’ve spoken with Nobi, Robin, and Luke and everyone can’t get wait to get working again. We are all committed, and looking at some different technological solutions to deal with the fact that I’m now on the West Coast. We are also going to be reaching out all of our amazing actors and get everyone back on the same page.- We will be creating a Donate button on the website for those that have so graciously offered to help defray some of the Leviathan costs.- Most importantly, we will finally be setting up a Patreon page to create a sustainable viable economic model for Leviathan (current and future seasons) so that interruptions are kept to a minimum going forward. Frankly, this was always the idea, but the technology literally didn’t exist when Leviathan launched to realize it. The best way for Leviathan to move forward is to have a concrete estimate of what revenue we can expect from each episode – a modified subscription model, if you will. For those not familiar, Patreon has a feature that charges you (within your own predetermined budget) whenever a new body of work (in this case, a new Leviathan episode) is released. This will a massive help in allowing us to budget resources to produce bigger and better episodes on a more timely basis by recruiting more help when we need it.Again, the two things I really hope you’ll take away from this post is that Leviathan is far, far from dead and will be returning shortly. And second, thank you all so much for the incredible impact you’ve all had on my life. All of you. Those with whom I’ve shared my situation with have responded with overwhelming compassion and moving stories of your fights with major health scares. Your continued support of Leviathan has been an inspiration for me, and lifted my spirits during some very heavy times.I can’t wait to continue this journey together.
