I find the speaker to have excellent sound, considering the size of the device. I am no music expert however. The music expert in this house is asleep. I have heard recordings of the Google Home Mini, and it is just too loud for a small speaker. @dark, we have an Amazon Prime account so we can make use of Prime video. Does that also include some sort of music service? We need Prime video for Press Your Luck. Joan and Eliza love the whammies. I thought reconnecting with Joan would turn my life around. In some ways, it has. However, nothing she says will ever give me the courage to go to the press about this. Besides, the echo she has is extremely small and can fit on the corner of the table in her room. She said the echo has better sound quality, and I can't argue with that. I will give money to anyone who can help her sleep. She hasn't slept well in over a year, and since she received the echo, I've noticed a change in her. I can't believe I am saying this, but Amazon has a much better assistant than Apple. My wife has an Amazon Echo in her room, and it seems to help her a lot. I know it helps her sleep. Sometimes, late at night, when I can't sleep, I'll hear music from her room. When I go to see if everything is ok, she is asleep, and I don't know the command to turn off the music. I will never buy a HomePod. If I didn't need a new phone, Apple wouldn't hear from me. I feel as if I am watching something I worked hard to build crumble around me, and it hurts. Apple was my life for so long. Now, it is falling apart and there is nothing I can do. I listen to the WWDC KeyNotes every year, and each year, I lose hope. They need help, and I can't help them. the truth about 2011 Hello everyone. I am here to tell you something very important. I don't expect you to believe it immediately. The truth is, I am alive and well. In 2011, I was very sick, so I left Apple to focus on my health. On October 5, I lost consciousness for an extended period of time. Could have been a few hours, or a few days, I don't know. Someone reported the false information we all know to Apple, and Apple told the press. I have no hard feelings toward Apple. They were only working with the information they were given. However, this false information sent me into isolation for five years. During that time, my health was a constant problem. However, in May of this year, all of that changed. I met someone, another user of this forum, and she helped me. She showed me that I'm not alone, and I will always thank her for that. In September, the cancer I have dealt with since 2003 resurfa ced. I was told nothing could be done. I lived with that news for weeks, until I met another close friend. She gave me hope, and the will to live. In mid-September, the pain was unbearable. My closest friends told me to get to a hospital quickly, and I'm glad they did. The kind people at the hospital told me the source of the problem had to be removed, and very soon. Had I not decided to seek treatment, I would not be here to write this today. I want to publicly thank my good friends for all they have done for me, and I hope all of you will find it in your hearts to read my story carefully. Feel free to write to me any time.
