I must admit, I still dont understand this game at all. Still cant flick relyably, lots of unlabeled or unclear buttons, you cant tell where youre going, nice try but unless someone can explain just how you play this I may have to skip this one.

Youll want to kill the priest first for sure and try to use defend and maybe a block or armor potion and the guardians shouldnt be hitting you too hard. Also make sure your equipment is up to date this is when fights start getting a bit harder.

Yea Id love to do pvp in an adventure to fate and think its a great fit but its a little over my head at the moment. I think I could figure how to get it to work but getting it secure and protected from cheaters is a whole other story. It wont be in the upcoming game but I can see it being in the next free version of the game.Im actually traveling Europe at the moment and have a lot of down time on the trains so Ive been getting a ton done. The pet combat system is almost complete so after that I figure Ill add them to the character creator and make a section somewhat Iike the spell book so you can organize and pick from your pets before battle. Im not sure if Im going to make it so you can set your pet at any time or only allow you to set and bring 1 pet from town.

Well there is nothing with amazingly tactical rpg combat on Ios, sinse the options that exist with hugely complex combat such as the card games like Ayashi ghost patrol and Haypy monster are extremely dodgy for access.There are a few more casual mmorpgs and grinders. However, on the other hand in the world of browser games and muds, both of which could! be played on Ios there is plenty, including lots of tactical stuff. If it fits in the game and is optional fare enoughk, though too often Ive seen games that supposedly claime to have optional pvp spend the lions share of the development time on the pvp system and promoting that system, or basically make the single player mode highly uninteresting. Of course there is no guarantee that this would happen with adventure to fate, but as I said its something Ive seen far too often,particularly sinse for screen reader compatibility reasons the majority of acce
 ssible rpgs have been browser based or occasionally on Ios.On the issue of pets, Im not sure if I like the idea of your character getting one pet and being stuck with it for the hole game, however I do see the problem if pets are too interchangeable, they just become another equipment item. So, how about pets are dungeon specific? So in terms of the existing battle arena, you could choose a pet at the start of each arena for each character, but had to finish that arena with that pet before you got chance to change.That also gives the dungeons a gauntlet feeling, though of course it depends upon how the dungeons vs shops etc are organized in the next game.

Hey great idea dark on the attachment / trust with each pet. I will definitely be adding a system like that. The more trust / attachment / loyalty they have the better they will be and sync with your character.You are right this next game you will be exploring open worlds and wont know who you will be facing even if you have played through before because some of the battles will be random. You will also hit traps and find treasure the combat system from battle arena will be there still but the encounters will be a bit different. Ok I will get that posted in general I love al the feedback you guys have given me plus its nice for people to know what kind of progress Im making without intruding on people that need help for this game.

Hmmm, Im not sure I explained the pet thing correctly. What i was thinking would be something like if pets were in battle arena, you could choose one pet for the dungeon arena but had to go through all 30 or however many battles with that pet, and couldnt change again until you got to the desert arena, ditto with the jungle and undead arenas. Im assuming that because the next Adventure to fate game will have exploring as a feature, with dungeon floors you can enter and wander around on finding traps and treasure and getting jumped on by monsters and all that jaz, the dungeon locations will be separated, either there will be floors, or there will be a dungeon thenn town type of setup, with the town containing your shops and character options, or at least some sort of break between successive dungeon floors even if the shops were hidden in the dungeon itself. Hope this makes sense. As for a development thread, well general game discu

 s with each pet. Suppose each pet had an attachment meater, which dictated how happy the pet was to be away from its new mistress/master. Each battle, the attachment meater would get filled up a bit, and when it was full, you could change pets. This could also factor into how well the pet performed, sinse a faithful wolf might give an awesome burst of rage, but wouldnt be happy being left for quite some time, while a giant ant might be a pretty mercinary beast and quite happy to be picked up and put down, but not quite as effective.Indeed you could even consider a system of tying the effectiveness of the pet to how long the character used it, sinse manifestly a horse and rider whove trained together would be far more effective than one who hadnt, that would also encourage players to take the pets into fights that their powers were not! suited for, just to continue raising their skills.Btw, both of these thoughts were

Hey dark I think you misunderstood me. You would simply have to be in town or a safe place to change your pet but even that is kind of a bother so I think Ill just make it so you can switch pets on the fly just not during battle. And no problem stevie thanks for giving the game a try. I make these because I love games and I love seeing people enjoy my work. I grew up on games so I know how important they can be. Hey dark I started a development thread on toucharcade and figured I would start one here too if that was ok so I could keep you all updated on development progress and get input.  sp; Think itd be a great way to get even more people interested in the game if done right. In addition, theres plenty of people on these forums who could probably answer some of the questions you have about making the mode work in the game.

This is a great game. So far made it to level 15 with the human knight (surprisingly not as hard as some users have stated; was able to beat the enchantress with no potions at all). Currently Im on round 55 of the desert arena.If the game is ever updated/a sequel comes out, would love to see a PVP mode come out if that was possible. Think this style of game would be perfect for it, as the sighted  VI players would essentially have an equal chance to win the battles.

Yea there are a few even levels where you dont get a craft but keep in mind you can craft 3-4 items each time with the weapon smith so you really can craft the most with them. The weaponsmith gets really good around that level the next crafts are the earth items which have great poison effects maybe the best rogue/Druid item in the game when creating a poison based character. Also the scorpion King has the great drops but as you see does not always drop sorry for the bad luck

I cant quite believe this happened, but I just won- shotted the enchantress. I worked out that the mummies both had two attacks but she only had one , so intimidated both of them . A swing or two, plus a fair few slashes was enough to seal the deal . I didnt even need the Dragon potion , in fact I found the battle before that much harder . That amulet is brilliant . If it wasnt for intimidate though, that would be hell. Unfortunately no monsters appear to be dropping anything at this point , I got nothing on the Scorpion King as well as the ones Ive killed so far in the next arena .

Dont dismiss defend because its a low level skill I believe its 15% block? Stack that with a block potion and you should an easy time. Anyways they are actually pretty easy for casters because of their low wis but can be a challenge for others. When you get to the furious protector and they buff be sure to use intimidate on them you dont want them hitting you twice haha.

Also, while I do understand why this is the case, I am slightly disappointed when I get to even number of levels with the weapon Smith and dont get anything to craft . On the upside though, the flaming sword I am using will be put in the vault when I finally unlock it as that is an extra 20 gems I dont have to spend in the future. Plus it is by far the best weapon for at least four levels .

Yea intimate while seems costly at lower levels is maybe the most powerful skill in the game late when monsters are hitting for up to 600 damage haha. You are on the right track for pets as well there will be tons of ways to collect and unlock them. Youll get them from beating the monsters themselves, finding hidden ones, achieving things (beating the game, beating the game without dieing, etc) As for the pets themselves I dont make my own art I just modify what I have so things can be limited but I think I might commission someone to do the art this is going to be a big game so dropping some cash shouldnt be a problem.

Yea unfortunately I only alloted that many item slots in the game database so there is really no expanding it (my bad). As for the item monster and skill descriptions I plan on making those quite a bit more in depth. To be honest I plan on having hints for vo that you otherwise wouldnt get. The only problem I have is I dont really know where the line of too much information is crossed and I dont want to overload people.

Thats sounding great. One thing that slightly disappoints me in the first game is the size of the vault, meaning that you cant just craft things with one character and leave them for another indeffinately sinse someone will need the space, which means you cant really build up a full library of crafted gear over successive games with different characters, so while you can collect soul gems and do unlocks, there isnt as much by way of over all rewards, so perminantly unlocked pets as rewards for finishing achievements is a great idea.I cant comment on the art work, but some text descriptions and information on what the monsters look like an what their habbits are (monsters manual style), might be nice to have, indeed if you want someone to work on writing that sort of thing give me a buz, sinse while Im not up on programming writing is one thing I can do, and have done frequently both for this site and in terms of book reviews, article

Is there some extra information about the skills or their degree of effects when used? sinse I imagine for heavily buff based characters like clerrics this could be problematic.

That is cool! on the information front, well hay, for me at least the more the merrier as far as atmosphere and scene setting goes, heck I once read through the entire second ed DD players manual just for the creature descriptions and morphologies .If you want to see a game that does an awesome job with vo information, Solara by Espa labs literally describes every peace of artwork in the game even down to the shops and buildings you can make and your characters costumes and what they ware.You could always put the info in several different pannels or what not, though as I said for me, and likely for a large number of other people playing with Vo as well, too much is waaay better than not enough, and it certainly makes the big red dragon of doom a lot more impressive if it has a description to match its damage figures and breath weapons.S
 ame goes for player races, pets and locations too, and a game with awesome atmosphere as well as the battle system would be doubly good and something many people in this community have wanted for years!

For those of you using the monk class for the game one of the players over at toucharcade (user anniec) wrote bit a great monk guide (better than I could even). Here it is hes a master at the game so hear him out Quick Guide to OP Monk:Class/Race/Profession: Monk, Vampire, AlchemistSpellbook: Attack, Spirit Strike, Mend, Energize, Inner Fire, Inner WindEquipment:1st Row: Glacial Shard, Mirrored Reflector, Living Crown, Shroud of Death, Leggings of Rebirth, Boots of Speed2nd Row: Kings Belt, Deity Gloves, Bone Amulet, Giants Ring, Ring of Agility, Priestess BandPriority of equipment is aimed at buffing Agility and Vamp HP/SP (setup gives 0.21/0.15 respectively). Higher Agility means higher dodge, and higher vamp greatly decreases dependency on healing potions (especially with Kings Belt only having 3 slots). 
 With this setup the need to buff Armor Count and HP Regen becomes moot. The name of the game is STAMINA! At level 30, the monk should have 6 stamina points under this setup (4 base, +1 from boots of speed, +1 from energize). SP Cost becomes moot due to Vamp SP on hit. Since Inner Fire and Wind cost an absurd ZERO stamina, and energize only 1, you should be able to launch 5 attacks on your first turn, since spirit strike only costs 1 stamina point!!Why Choose Spirit Strike? STAMINA! THATS WHY! Sure SS does less damage than Cobra and Dragon Strike. But the lower stamina cost means SS does more damage per turn, especially on a 6 hit turn where you will get 2 double damage strikes! Dont believe me? Check the math?Lets first establish average damages (with Inner fire) for each move based from what I experienced (yours may vary a little): tested on a Frostwolf Commander-Regular Attack, normal = 60 for 1 stamina-Spirit Stirke, normal = 120
  for 1 stamina-Cobra Strike, normal = 160 for 2 stamina-Dragon Strike, normal = 220 for 3 staminaIf we calculate total damage for the first 2 turns (5 points on the first, 6 on the second) with every 3rd hit doing double damage we get (assuming no criticals and no attack misses or gets blocked):SS: 120 + 120 + 240 + 120 + 120 = 720240 + 120 + 120 + 240 + 120 + 120 = 840, which gives 1,560 damage in 2 turnsCS: 60(reg) + 160 + 320 = 540160 + 160 + 320 = 640, which gives 1,180 in 2 turnsDS: 60(reg) + 60(reg) + 440 = 56060(reg) + 60(reg) + 440 + 60(reg) = 620, which gives 1,180 in 2 turnsAs you can see, SS is the most damaging of the 3 on the first two turns and ends up being the most efficient over the course of the battle due to simply the stamina cost. However, one thing that might be fun might be to reward players for replaying the game by unlocking more pets to have combinations with. So, say instead of a choice of pets, classes start with a particular pet, eg, the knight and paladin could start with a horse which gave them a charge attack, a wizard and illusionist start with a magical cat which gave them an sp replacing buff etc, with extra, class specific pets possible to earn later, for example the paladin mi
 ght earn a white dragon, which had a holy fire damage and healing attack, while the knight could earn the thoroughbred, an upgraded version of the horse. The further each class got in the game, the more pets theyd earn (perhaps two or three per class, though with cross overs). once a pet was unlocked however, it was unlocked perminantly and you could choose to start with it, thus if you wanted a knight to start with the white dragon, they could. That way you would give players rewards for playing as different classes and unlocking them, and also give another level of equipment customization and pet behaviour sinse pets which some classes earned but were less good for their playing style might be awesome for others,  so for example a wizard might earn the mosquito pet which lowered an opponents defense to physical attacks as well as draining a little hp, less good for a wizard but awesome for a knight.

 s a challenge, you could have a class which was specifically harder to play, but earned awesome pets, say a shaman or beast caller who was very weak, didnt have much magic, or strength, but had great animal assistance .One thing I do hope for in Atf 3 is more exploring, sinse personally I do love the hole poking into hiden places, exploring every corner not sure what you will find aspect of dungeoning, and I know this was part of quest to the core, though judging by the touch arcade review some aspects didnt go down as well with some people. Still, now that there is a very usable square labelling system for the dungeon, i do hope well get some places to explore next game.

Hey guys so im working on the next adventure to fate and i need some advice. I am currently adding pets and want to get some input on how to implement them. currently they will work as follows:You select a pet when creating your character you will have a choice of maybe 3? they will have some basic skills and a passive skillPets turn will take place after your characters turn? they wont be able to be hit by the enemies but they will be able to hit the enemies they wont be super strong but will have skills that hit the enemies, buff the players, heal the players and debuff the enemies. they might even have a hit all attack.I plan on you being able to collect pets and choose which one you take into battle. youll pick one at the start and then after you beat each of the 5-6 sections of the game youll earn more. Pets will also be auto leveled to which ever level you are and will have an average of your stats? or stat up as you level up? anyways its g
 oing to add a very cool twist on the game but I just wanted to run these ideas by everyone. I would love any feedback good or bad because its really just in the planning stage.

What race are you Stuee? after trying several combinations and techniques I concluded that a human knight just was neither strong nor tough enough to survive that battle, a race who have higher stats might however work better.

So I found a solution for the enchantress.Take a few healing items and an sp restoring item.As soon as the battle starts, intimidate the two mummies then use rage. Keep using slash on the enchantress. Slash seems to land the most hits and over all do the most hits, anything else just wastes sp. Thats pretty much all. Use the two potions in one turn to restore a sizable portion of hp when you need to. Make sure you have the best equipment from the storea nd from battle drops also.

I am a human knight. I just had to get the very best equipment and use intimidate a lot. Crush in that battle was useless for me, it wasted too much sp. I wish you could go back and get dragon tears from the previous battles, but trying failed. I ended up using too much sp in the battle, so I was actually using attack instead of slash by the end of it and won somehow regardless. If you use two or three slashes in a single turn and they impact you also have a pretty high chance of stunning the target also, which is useful in that battle.

I tried slash three times but it wasnt working for me even with the best equipment I had for some reason, stuff that boosted strength. I might try again with intimidate, but the potions are such a pest to buy I may well just continue with my gnome wizard and delete the human knight character, maybe try a iffren race combo with knight later.

I couldnt have done that battle without intimidate at all. If you go back and do earlier battles though, extremely expensive equipment will drop. I managed to get 2000 gold without really trying.

I managed to get 2000 gold without really trying.Yes Intimidate starts becoming critical for certain fights around the end of the desert area and is one of the most powerful skills in the game so dont overlook that. as for great fights to make gold off of the bandit leader is a good quick one and same with the charmer. most of the mini bosses drop their item each time so if you see a 1 of a kind monster its usually going to drop a pretty good item over and over. just a warning though around level 15-18? you have to either listen to an ad or spent a gem to replay (this was put into place so you couldnt just farm nonstop and make the game super easy).

Yea gnome wizard is the way to go for some pure damage and since they have high agi wis their defense is pretty good too. Youll be tearing through most of the early game monsters. I havent been adding ap store links directly to the db the way it has download links for pc games. This is for two reasons, first that ap store links are annoyingly country specific, and when your redirected to your own countrys ap store for the program you just end up searching anyway, and secondly because Im not sure how many people are using safari with vo to browse the site, as its a bit of a pest (I tend to use the internet exclusively on my Pc myself). if people want this changed I always could, but it just seemed a bit odd to post links that most people would either not use, or be searching anyway. Gnome wizard is proving pretty awesome, particularly sinse I rerolled a little and got an int off 11 and wisdom of 12, though I dont want to start making assumptions of difficulty yet. The only slight annoyence is that Ill have to clear all the heavy armour out of my vault, but at least the wizard can sell it fo
 r cash. One thing Im still finding a little odd which may or may not be a bug is that if you have an item in your inventory, either worn or carried, you cant pick up the same item. Its odd, by mistake I bought the wooden staff and then had two wooden staves so obviously the game can handle duplicate items, heck Ive got loads of potions, however Im not sure whats going on with loot or maybe there is a checkbox not labeled or similar, which might explain the gold issue sinse obviously if your not picking up the more expensive monster drop items and not able to sell them you end up strapped for cash.

Ahh ok that makes sense on the link I figured it was something like that. As for not picking up duplicate items you can pickup duplicate items the only reason you might not be is if you are hitting the discard button instead of the pickup button. I went back and tested just to be sure and Yes you can but I did find a bug. With voice over sometimes it will say an old item name from the last drop or so kind of like how the dead monsters work. I never noticed this because without voice over on you would never know bc the items are invisible when they are not new. A great way to test this is the bandit leader fight. You fight the leader and 2 regular bandits they almost always drop a studded belt and a bandits ring so play them a few times and you will have a lot of duplicates. Btw early in the game this is the best way of making money you can get up to 400 gold a fight this way and will average about 125 gold a fight. Hopefully this helps but also doesnt ma
 ke the game too easy.

Ive noticed a bug.If you battle a group of enemies and if the next battle has less enemies, the status bars from the previous battle still remain. For example I fought I think three mummies in the desert arena and then fought a priestess, the old status bars from the three mummies remained.Im also having problems with this annoying enchantress, I just dont have enough hp or defense. I personally find this annoying as there is really no magical defense options as a knight that I can see. Im liking the game so far though, its cool to have rpg battles that are actually challenging and require thought.

Im fairly sure Im not hitting discard sinse I always flick right to the pickup items button, but Ill try refighting the bandits and see what happens, sinse this has been causing problems and might explain lack of gold, though thus far Ive been trying not to refight battles if possible so as not to put my day counter up, though Im guessing this doesnt matter too much in the long run. Well see how my gnome goes, shes not doing too bad thus far.

Im usually a paladin fan in rpgs anyway, both because I like being able to go and smight stuff like a fighter, but also having a few extra tools at my command like healing and bufs, and because I am a fan of that hole knightly honour and nobility thing as a theme . Well accept for one paladin I played in a tabletop DD game who was a chaotic paladin of freedom and kept on telling his god he refused to go in for all that serving rubbish, and frequently told his god so in no uncertain terms! .I will transfer the gear across, and I might try a knight with one of the tougher races in the future, but paladin isnt unlocked for now so my choices are the other jobs, and sinse I have already paid for the gnome unlock and they have the magic ability I m

Yea I can see how it could be a bit annoying for sure. I usually keep the dragon tear potions for that fight so its usually no big deal of a fight for me. You might like the paladin class since its a lot like the fighter but has healing abilities which help. Also you could make a Palladian weaponsmirh and transfer all your heavy armor and be set if you have the vault. there are unlock codes for the illusionist as well as the monk if you want to try one of those as well.

While crush can be a really hard hitting attack I think I was using swing to beat her and hoping she wouldnt change for 2 turns. I believe she has a 40% chance to change each time. Wis potions help as well but if you have not used your dragon tears which you get from the first levels boss those are helpful as well since they heal for over 200. Im sorry you are having so much trouble with her I feel like I might be missing something.

Okay, I think that fight is actually physically impossible. obviously knight is a crappy class for a human, sinse Im getting hit by three enemies each of whom does 30 damage with one soul leach so am losing on average a hundred hp per turn, and my crush attack is only doing 30 percent to the enchantress of which she recovers ten percent each turn, plus there is the gold issue. Perhaps you need a race with higher strength or endurance to be a knight, either way I think Ill try another job instead, though at least sinse I have the vault I can dump everything in there so its available next time I have a class that can use heavy armour.

Ive also tried both with the berserker helmet and warriors gear boosting strength, or with the steel gear boosting armour, but neither worked out.It is also irritating that I need to grind so much for gold between attempts, but with the vial of wisdom 200 gold and the corianda potions 50 each, with me sometimes getting as little as 11 gold on a drop it doesnt seem there is a way to speed this up, particularly sinse I need to buy extra corianda potions to heal, indeed Ive commited su
 icide a couple of times just to get my stats back up sinse its less work than getting the bloody potions. Its okay, Im coming to the conclusion that human is a cruddy class for knight, and I think Ill try another combination instead, maybe a gnome wizard sinse Ive payed for the gnome unlock. I am a little disappointed though sinse up until this fight with the enchantress things were going pretty well, oh well, live learn and try a different class, though if indeed there is an impossible or near impossible race/class combo in the game perhaps humans should not be labeled as good for any class in the docs.Btw, I am working on a database entry for Battle arena, hopefully it will be up by the end of today, that should be another good way to let more people know about the game.

Thank you for the tip about vertical navigation. I always seem to forget about that when playing games.  So Ive just started realising how tactical you can be with all the customisation options . One of the hardest things I find about playing games with this many is finding one and sticking with it , as there is always the what if I try this factor ?  My current game has a dwarf knight weaponsmith. My original plan was to use the armoursmith to give him extra protection as they do quite a bit of damage anyway , while saving the weapon Smith for the paladin once I unlocked it To increase its possible lesser damage . However then I thought wait a minute, if the knight exists to inflict damage, why not maximise that ? Reminds me of the berserker or commando classes in muds, while I belie
 ve the paladin would make a great tank . These are just the warrior type classes.I havent really thought about what you could do with the others. A quick question, will you want to equip weapons to the monk or not ? Normally I know you wouldnt, but Im not sure in this game

If you mean vertical navigation, it needs adding to the rotor before you can use it. To do this, go to settingsgeneralaccessibilityvoiceover, and find the button for rotor, (its somewhere down at the bottom just before the braille options). On the next page, youll get a long list of stuff you can add to the rotor, and the ones currently active are listed as selected Go and find verticle navigation (and maybe any others youd be interested in), and double tap to select it, you can also drag and hold to change the order of stuff on the rotor if you want too, I for example like the vertical navigation setting first so I dont have to twiddle the rotor too much to find it.When youve done this, exit settings. now, if you use the rotor gesture, two fingers and twist, you will here vert navigation which means flicks up and down will move you up and down just like left and right flicks do. You
 ;ll need to readjust when you want to interact with a control or edit area, but Vert navigation is a hugely useful thing for many games, (its handy both in Kodp and in Star traders for example), so its something Id highly recommend.

I eventually figured that out and now Im on to the Desert Arena. Unfortunately the shop there doesnt appear to sell Amber and Teal potions and it seems that it isnt possible to return to prior arenas once you complete them, unless Im just missing something.

Firstly, the desert arena shop sells potions that do the same thing, just offering a larger amount of restores, find them under potions. Secondly, yes you most certainly can! go back to the dungeon arena. From the battle arena, just double tap on the path square below (which will be much easier if you have vert navigation setup), to move to that square, then double tap on the dungeon portal, alternatively, there are instant portals you can double tap, I believe there on the skill book display.

@dan Im glad you see it that way the knight really is a great damage dealer and tank but the profession you choose is really the deciding factor as well. The cool thing about the weapon smith is they can make weapons for all classes so if you level that up first and have the vault unlocked it makes it very easy to level up any class. The monk will use medium weapons and armors somewhat similar to world of Warcraft.

If you hear a soft stepping sound youll know youve gotten to where you tapped. Then if itsa place you can enter, say a shop or the batle arena, you double tap it again to actually start interacting.

So far I like the Wizad class. The only thing I dont like so far is that unless Im just missing something painfully obvious you seem to have to buy the Gem Doubler for each new character you create before the new one can benefit from it. But the Flare spell has so far been my best friend. LOL.

@dark I have a feeling you spent most of your gold on that pendent of hope otherwise you wouldnt be hurting for gold at all. The good thing about that pendant is that its meant for a caster (wizard, Druid, cleric or illusionist) so if you do make one of those you will be owning with the Intel bonus.

If there is another way to heal up between fights other than using potions or dying, or if there is another way to get gold (say by selling unused crafting materials to the shop sinse I have literally tonnes of those I dont need), Id appreciate knowing. Ironically, its not even all fights, its just the ones that have enemies casting spells like those cursed mummies or mummy priestesses that do the high damage and require me to use potions. My human knight also started with stats of 9, 9, 9, 9, 3 which I a
 ssumed was okay but probably is not. Maybe humans just dont make good enough knights,I just wanted to play a different race to the dwarf I initially tried with the game.

Maybe humans just dont make good enough knights,I just wanted to play a different race to the dwarf I initially tried with the game.

@Bryan, One thing Ive noticed in battle arena is that even when youve bought something perminant like the remove adds or the gem doubler, it still shows it as for sale in the ap store, but that doesnt mean you dont have it, Ive not seen an add in the game sinse I bought remove adds and you can always use the restore button if your concerned, heck Ive had no shortage of gems despite crafting. @Touchmint, no, I didnt buy the pendent of hope, sinse firstly I never had that sort of money, and secondly as you said its obviously intended for casters anyway, it just seems that after keeping my armour uptodate Ive not had much gold. Im not sure if Im missing something sinse it seems the only way to heal is to use potions, and with using potions in battle and using potions after battle for healing that can get expensive, especially in the desert arena where the potions are 50 each, and thats no
 t to speak of the 200 gold Ive piad out for the vial of wisdom which Ive thus far done four times trying to kill that bloody enchantress. If there is another way to heal up between fights other than using potions or dying, or if there is another way to get gold (say by selling unused crafting materials to the shop sinse I have loads of those I dont need), Id appreciate knowing. All I know is the buttons for things like path and exit arena portal dont do anything. I have made progress (Im up to round 27 I believe in the dungeon arena and Ive collected quite a lot of gold but cant seem to use it. Im a level nine or ten Mage.

@Bryan, see my previous explanation. If your in the battle arena,youll need to flick right or left or up or down once to get to the path tyles you can walk to, the path tyles elsewhere are too far away so wont do anything. As to gold, you use it in the shop to buy items, as I said. To find the shop, put your finger on the battle arena square and flick right once, double tap on path and youll hear a stepping sound to indicate youve moved, then flick right once again to where it says shop and double tap to move there, then double tap again to enter the shop. As I said, in the future if Adventure to fate 3 is going to have a more complex dungeon layout with different things to find as quest to the core did, (which is something Id love to see sinse itd be awesome), itll be important to have the characters current position labeled, and maybe have something like coordinates as well so that each square i
 s distinct, eg path, 1-1, or wall, 3-. but sinse as far as I know in Battle arena each dungeon has the same layout its less of a concern, still perhaps its something touchmint could consider if people are having trouble finding stuff in the game, although as I said above I dont think the layout is that much of a problem once you get the idea of how it works.

I am having no luck at all with my human knight and this bloody enchantress, even when I maxed my strength at cost of armour using some of the things Id made with the armoursmitth skill it still didnt work out, though in fairness the dice seemed to hate me in that fight and I missed a lot, so Im in an annoying position now of having to constantly grind for enough gold to buy potions in order to try the fight again, which is doubly irritating sinse the monsters arent dropping hp restore potions, plus when I tried one fiht I should! have won but didnt have a potion so died again, which was irritating.I know the monsters stats are hiden, but one slight issue I am having is not knowing what exactly the affects of enemy skills are, so not being exactly clear why I am getting beaten up.I 
 might actually take your suggestion and try another profession with the weaponsmitth skill and then pass the weapon to my knight, indeed your logic is probably correct on knight being better suited to maxing damage than trying to work on protection, indeed I recently unlocked the clerric class though Im tempted to also give wizard a try, heck even though Im not usually a rogue fan Id be interested to see what rogues do in this game. Well thats why it has multiple characters .

Ah, that makes sense regarding wisdom and about the stats. I did discover that there seemed to be something crazy going on with the stats above the skills row actually being the ones for the ongoing battle and those below being the ones reported before hand, I just got thing slightly wrong sinse I assumed the Stam 2-2 display was part of the equipped skills.I actually did buy the valt sinse I felt it only fare to buy something, and also because it seemed like a good investment over all as I didnt just want to sell the items I crafted and I can see that crafting will be the key to success with the game. Getting the npc view would be nice, though in a way learning the capabilities of opponents is rather fun. Im afraid I do now have a couple more questions, a miner bug report and a suggestion. First, what is with the pendent of hope in the first dungeon shop? I gather that jewelery is pretty rare which is why the jerelery crafting skill is 
 such a good idea, and it looked like a good item, but seven thousand gold? the thing wasnt even that good, it just seemed to add a couple to armour, why is it so ridiculously expensive? Second, picking up items after battle. Sometimes I find a duplicate of an item I already have, such as charmers boots, but the game doesnt seem to pick them up, which is a little annoying sinse I could sell them, indeed accept for potions it seems that you can only have one of each item type in your inventory, unless Im missing something somewhere.Then, how do blessings work. Sometimes I get the option for a blessing before a match, and I have been ignoring these but chose one before a tough fight with a mummy, and got a stat bonus, indeed I think it gave an extra point of int. If your core stats dont increase per level up, is it intended the blessings increase your character? I also found one miner bug on the inventory screen, the first button for w
 eapon slot is just labeled as weapon slot not as the title of whatever you have equipped. You can click on it and get details of your copper sword or steel hammer or whatever, however the label doesnt seem to work the same way as the other labels in your inventory for some reason, if this is just a glitch with it being the first button on the page fair enough but I thought Id mention it. Lastly, for the suggestion. It seems as I said above thatc crafting is the key to success, and whats more having multiple characters to craft and put items in the vault so they can be shared. However, why not take this one step further, particularly if as you say the more standard classes are going to find the final bonus arena near impossible,  sinse a player should get something for going through with a knight or rogue. Im not talking of making a multi character party game, but of having a way for alternate characters to help each other out. Th
 is occurred to me when my knight is having to glugl down potions after each battle to face the next one and I was thinking Id love to go and see a clerric What Im thinking is, once the vault is unlocked, every few fights your character goes through, they earn the chance to make a rune of calling. This is like a free one time pre packaged skill that is dropped off in the vault and can be picked up by another character and used in battle like an extra skill.When a rune of calling is used in battle, you get text like You call on dark the human knight to cast rage on you or You call on Hermione the elf wizard to cast flare on the beatle queen whereupon the rune is used up and you get the affects of the skill from the previous character as it was when the rune was made. Obviously, to earn lots of runes you actually need to go through fights sinse runes only get awarded after battles, and also, runes could only be picked up by 
 another character, not by yourself, so it would pay to go through the game as lots of different classes in order to earn a good number of runes and have them available, sinse while your high level knight might not be much use in the bonus arena, their rage skill could still be.Indeed, this could create different sets of tactics such as for example playing through two different games symaltaniously swaping runes between characters with each supporting the other. Obviously this would be a relatively major change, but it is something that occurred to me and might be fun sinse I really like all the distinct characters and races and itd be nice to reward players for experimenting and diversifying.

Hey guys sorry about the delay I will try to get to all the questions and if i miss anything just let me know.@hanif The beetle queen is one of the harder challenges what I would suggest is using an armor skill or potion and make sure you are killing the queen first because she will spawn larvaes.@darkYour magic defense is wisdom so stacking wisdom gear or using a wisdom potion should help in those kind of battles. The knight does not have any wisdom buffing skills but cleric mage and illusionist do i believe as well as rogue has blind which lowers enemy int (which is usually spell damage).Since you have the gem doubler youll be fine crafting gear and still having extra gems when you finish. this is why i suggest the gem doubler your going to have a ton of gems. As for unlocking the vault once you unlock it in any area its unlocked for every character in every place. sorry about the npc view its just something i couldnt get figured o
 ut in time and like i said usually people cant see that so i didnt notice it until the end. hopefully i will have it figured out for the next update/gameHas you might have noticed views are stacked on views thats why you are seeing 2 bars of each stam hp sp because the battle screen is on top of the main screen but normally people dont see that because the main is no visible. for some reason voice over reads the view below so it makes things a bit confusing. I will see if i can better hide this in the next game but it was another weeks worth of work as far as i could tell because there was no easy way to do it. as for stam after each round you regain all your stam but keep in mind different skills use diff amounts of stam.As for looking at the monsters stats and skills no one can see that I like to keep those hidden. however on the toucharcade forum people have made tables and what not including monster loot.  @dan_cAs for the 2 races they are 
 halfling (free) and troll (150 gems). halfling is a quicker class with starting stats a bit weaker than human but quicker and more magical you could say. they also have very high luck which you cant see while rolling unless you have voiceover on. I thought it would be cool to give you guys a bit extra. Troll is much like the orc race but instead of having a stun chance they have great regen abilities like 40-50 per round at higher levels. They also have the highest strength and endurance but pretty low agility intel wis and luck.As the game gets deeper things are going to get harder of course. To be honest the bonus frost arena is almost impossible to beat with the standard classes and without high level craft items from other professions. Meaning you might need the top armors and weapons combinded to be able to beat that arena. One thing I suggest if making a main alt is to choose the alchemist profession. not only can they make the best potions in the game but t
 hey also do not use stamina to drink potions which in end game is insanely good. they also can create stam potions which give you even more attack.

Okay, I have now it seems come to a fight which is literally impossible. Its dwaalia the enchantress with two cursed mummies, all three of them with soul leach spells that hit for 30 damage on average. I have tried taking a vial of wisdom and of course not using the rage skill (i wont make that mistake again), but it doesnt seem to help much, the damage on the mummies attacks is still the same, actually Im soon going to need to grind lower level fights for gold to spend on more potions if I want to try this again.Very annoying sinse up to this point things werent going too badly. I wonder if Ive missed something in the way magical damage works, maybe another stat needs buffing? Ill put the game down for a bit and come back later, though Im annoyed at probably losing my expert rating .

@darkagain the top stats are the one in battle and lower are what they are before battle and your buffs and what not. This is caused by the views being on top of each other which i wasnt able to crack in time. Yea the vault is the first thing i would buy with gems once I had them allowing you to swap items is not only the key to end game but can make the first stages a breeze when you have everything already. As for the pendant of hope it is a very very good item for level 9 you wont see anything like it until level 20ish? it gives +2 int (which is damage for most casters and even monks/druids/rogues) and the wis bonus which is like extra defense. On top of that it gives a regain of 10 sp and 10 hp which is almost equal to some druid regain spells so its actually very powerful. the reason its so costly is because when people are replaying through the game that have everything they were requesting some power items (this is a legendary item at level 9) you wont s
 ee other legendaries until level 20 or so and most have to be crafted. You should be able to pickup any items duplicate or not unless your inventory is full in that case it wont pickup things. Keep in mind there is a discard button on the left so be careful not to hit that.blessings before battles give str and int (main damage stats) depending on level i think its 1-2 until level 15 then 2-4 til level 24 then 4-6 on. Its random when it appears but if you just close and reopen the battle screen youll have another chance at it so you could watch one everytime if you want. This is a way for the game to make money without forcing you to watch ads you have a choice here just like when you go to collect your loot there will be a bonus materials button. Keep in mind if you buy the remove ads you will auto get both of these bonuses. core stats dont increase per level however all formuals are based on level so as you level everything gets better without the other stats g
 oing up. someone with 10 str at level 1 hits for a lot less than a level 10 with the same str and items. I will fix the weapon slot for the next update when i was learning how the hint and labels worked i was switching them around and must have forgot to fix it. are you playing on iphone or ipad?Crafting is forsure the key to this game and your idea is pretty cool but it would require some real work on the code side and since im trying to get working on the next version im not sure anymore big changes will make it to this game. However Im already planning a system similar to that involving multiple characters per party or at the least pets with skills like suggested. I do like the idea of a bonus for beating it with a certain class and your others benefiting though so ill have to work that into the next one for sure.

So this is close to the end of that arena and yes she is very hard but has a great reward! i recommend trying to kill her as fast as possible and it really helps to be level 15 because you get your 3rd attack then which really helps a ton.just make sure you have all your equipment upgraded and a good belt is important too so you can hold more potions again wis is good too because it will lower the amount you are hit for. try to get the blessing bonus when you go in there too.dont worry though you will hit much worse than her

Awesome! I am just going to make a quick post because unfortunately I only got the update late last night and literally was dropping my Iphone from tiredness . @Bryan, the battle is an overlay and there are some random buttons, however all the important information is there and is found easily. At the top youll find the monster image with a percentage, eg, toxic puddle %100, this is what you hit to target a creature when youve selected a skill. Around the middle are your skills to use, eg for a knight they would be attack, slash and rage. When you use a skill on yourself itll be used automatically, but if you use a skill like attack or slash youll need to target the creature to use it. You can couble tap and hold (make sure to hold for a couple of seconds), on each skill to find out what it does, ditto with potionnns.Benieth that are 
 your stats, and off to the right are your potions. Vo should speak what the enemy does, but the battle log is at the bottom that you can read. The only thing Ive not found how to do in battle is see your opponents stats or skills other than the percentage bar. The main screen Im liking very much with the labels. I was initially a little confused because the labels say path but dont indicate where your character is or which squares labeled path go where, however I have vertical navigation on my vo roter and with this its possible to find a location like the battle arena and flick up and down to get to the things around it. For future reference (particularly in an adventure game), perhaps labelling the path squares in a slightly more individualistic fashion might be helpful, eg path from shop to battle arena or path from battle arena to portal or maybe even someth
 ing more descriptive, but given that there are a limited number of objects and destinations in the battle arena it isnt an issue. What I particularly like is that Im now seeing stuff I didnt before, such as the vault on the dungeon or the material selecter for inventory (previously if I wanted to look at my materiials I had to go to crafting). and this is not to mention the battle screen and rerolling, as well as race info.So, great job there. Now please excuse me I have some critters who want slaying! .Edit: okay Ive been playing now for the last couple of hours and things are awesome, however I have two questions. First, the vault. Is it 200 gems to unlock perminantly? or is it 200 gems to unlock in each area.Second,there is something odd with staminer. In battles it seems your hp and sp and stam stats are
  displayed both above and below where the skills are, however the label below always seems to read max staminer points, where the label above changes according to their use, which is crazy, and a trifle irritating sinse I tend to prefer to look at the labels towards the bottom of the screne as theyre between the combat log and the skills and potions. I also dont exactly get how staminer works, Im playing a human knight and as far as I can tell I recover one staminer each turn which is enough to use slash or rage. However, sinse sometimes it seems I for some reason can use the swing skill several times in a row, (I dont know if this is the rage skill or what), other times it doesnt seem to function, unless there is something off with the swing skill that I missed. Lastly, I have a miner bug report. Ive noticed that in the top left corner, sometimes it displays the results of your last attack, eg diseased rat minus 38
  percent even from the last battle. Furthermore, while I get that once you kill a creature the labels are reshuffled so that the next is first along, sometimes the game doesnt update the labelling and I have to attack by swinging at the last dead creature, eg where it says toxic puddle dead for example. Neither of these are a major deal of course but I thought Id mention them in the interests of reporting. Now, back to more slayage! .

hi touchmint, Ive played around with the update and it sound quite nice.however, I have one problem:Im battling the queen beetle and the other 2 enemies. I only can use flair 4 times and I always got attacked by those enemies. any tips?

@Hanif, unfortunately no suggestions here with the Queen beatle either your further on than me or the game has selected different enemies. Well I made it through the dungeon arena, Im quite pleased that I only died twice which apparently got me an expert rating, though both tactically were to similar things, once was a fight against three illusionists, who just kept using spark in succession, the second was the boss fight againsd a middori and two flames (I thought middori was a type of melon  licure but hay). It seems even though Ive got lots of heavy armour that magic attacks are very damaging, heck even when I used a vial of protection it didnt seem to make over much difference on the damage done by the flare attacks from the flame, likewise, I wonder if there is some resistance Im not seeing sinse it is odd that physical attacks like crush and stab are not doing much against me but spark hits for 30 damage each time, which when
  all three illusionists use it together can be deadly. I also found the middori battle a bit weerd with not knowing the enemy hp in total. First time around I attacked the Middori itself trying to do it in but getting hit for 25-40 damage from the flare attacks. I killed the middori, but the flames got me. second time around I decided to try attacking the flames to reduce the number of enemies, and sure enough one slash and poof! bye bye flame. Once both were gone it was just a question of smacking the middori around and slashing out any other flames it summoned asap, and luckily it ran out of hp before Id used my two strength potions.Of course, I admit that because Im saving fate gems for unlocks and not using them to craft armour, Im probably making my own life harder, though actually it seems making the warriors heavy armour would be a good idea, (though I did unlock the clerric class, which will likely be my next job).I also won
 der about stats and xp, sinse while it seems I get more hp and sp for levelling and of course unlock new crafts and skills, Im not sure if my base stats go up. My stats arent bad, upper end for a human though not maxed out,but it was something I was wondering about.Well my dog needs a walk but after that its into the desert! .

@Dan, that would make sense as to why my knight runs into trouble when hit with stuff life flare. next time Ill try buying a vial of wisdom and see how if it reduces damage.I dont know what two races you mean, as I know the only new race added is halfling. I cant recall their stats but I know theyre sort of a quick race.@Hanif, okay, I just had the fight with the beatle queen and her minians. annoyingly the first time around I died sinse I assumed the same tactic as I used against the middori would work, naming knocking out the sand beatles and then concentrating on the queen, however with the annoying beatle larvae it didnt work out and I lost, g! Ive already noticed though that If there are already three enemies, no more would be summoned, also the beatle larvae were slightly nastier than the queen, so second time around I never gave the queen chance to summon anything. I started by hitting her with intimid
 ate then used my slash skill until she dropped. aFter that the fight was easy, i didnt even need a potion. Thats actually one thing Im really liking in the game, the need for different tactics against different enemies, I just wish it was more possible to know a bit about what your fighting first off to prepare, but that I suppose is the game.

Im confused by the battle screen. A lot of unlabeled buttons. It also keeps saying match is about to start and prepare for battle even after I hit attack.

When there is no monster the button is set to void and set to be invisible. The monster image and name will always be labeled. You might be hearing the the battle is about to start because you are re reading the combat log which has history of all the text that has happened during the match. You should be able to hit the monster and it will stay the damage then monster name and percent of life left now. There are some glitches in voice over that cause it to be skipped sometimes when the speech speed isnt fast enough but I feel like it is quite a bit better than it was.

Awesome! I am just going to make a quick post because unfortunately I only got the update late last night and literally was dropping my Iphone from tiredness . @Bryan, the battle is an overlay and there are some random buttons, however all the important information is there and is found easily. At the top youll find the monster image with a percentage, eg, toxic puddle %100, this is what you hit to target a creature when youve selected a skill. Around the middle are your skills to use, eg for a knight they would be attack, slash and rage. When you use a skill on yourself itll be used automatically, but if you use a skill like attack or slash youll need to target the creature to use it. You can couble tap and hold (make sure to hold for a couple of seconds), on each skill to find out what it does, ditto with potionnns.Benieth that are 
 your stats, and off to the right are your potions. Vo should speak what the enemy does, but the battle log is at the bottom that you can read. The only thing Ive not found how to do in battle is see your opponents stats or skills other than the percentage bar. The main screen Im liking very much with the labels. I was initially a little confused because the labels say path but dont indicate where your character is or which squares labeled path go where, however I have vertical navigation on my vo roter and with this its possible to find a location like the battle arena and flick up and down to get to the things around it. For future reference (particularly in an adventure game), perhaps labelling the path squares in a slightly more individualistic fashion might be helpful, eg path from shop to battle arena or path from battle arena to portal or maybe even someth
 ing more descriptive, but given that there are a limited number of objects and destinations in the battle arena it isnt an issue. What I particularly like is that Im now seeing stuff I didnt before, such as the vault on the dungeon or the material selecter for inventory (previously if I wanted to look at my materiials I had to go to crafting). and this is not to mention the battle screen and rerolling, as well as race info.So, great job there. Now please excuse me I have some critters who want slaying! .

I also tend to reduce those games that I actually discuss access wise with the devs to ones that actually seem to have something to offer, sinse me e-mailing a developer and saying please can you add text labels to your really dull single button press attack grind fest of pointlessness probably wouldnt be worth much.Though playing so many games does give a very wide perspective on 
 things and occasionally I get rather surprised by something being better than I might have expected it to be, or of enjoying something that is in a genre that Im not usually a fan of, (I was quite amazed how much fun learning to play backgammon was).
