Are you sure there are that many people? The forum is dead, I have only ever been attacked by you, and if you look at the rankings, the top player in the game is only level 18 and there is a level 1 in the top ten. This implies that there arent many players, and even fewer active players. Its too bad really, because there are some cool mechanics, but I feel like its the kind of game that would be even cooler to play with more people. Quests would be good too, but I cant find a link for contacting the admin.

Just a couple of quick notes here, as Im on my way to bed.1. Requiring us to use the same dragon strike twenty-plus times per battle in order to kill a boss is tedious as hell.2. Some of the dragon scrolls (Cecil and Shawna come to mind) are downright obnoxious. Grinding with Cecil and Shawna is easy, but using them for boss fights is bad because quite frankly their magic is annoying and their HP is terrible. I realize that not all chars can be big and squishy, so thats fine, but do we really need two to seven seconds of dead space between beeps, when only fifty miliseconds are given to respond? Seems both arbitrary and counterintuitive. I ignore those characters, and unless one of you folks tells me that one of those characters gets a really wicked and easy attack at a high level, Ill probably continue to do so.3. I like the way the games laid out and dont think it needs Jaws or screenreader support in general. Footstep noise would
  be nice, as would the ability to change the speed of the narrator voice or interrupt the enemys attack text, but generally the game appears well-built and virtually bug-free to my experience. I do think some of the dialogue and text needs some work, mind you. I cant bring anything specific to mind, but Ive cringed a fair few times listening t the things people say or the way things are described. Dont get me wrong though; being one of the first games of its type for the visually impaired, Paladin of the Sky has done a lot of things right, so if I seem overly harsh, I apologize. I just believe in telling it the way I see it.Also, as an aside, ditching Lucy arbitrarily seems kind of ugly. Lucy is probably the best in the game if played right, and Id have liked a choice as to which player Id leave behind.I do have one question, however. Im at the boss battle in the chamber (the area with the key fragments). Ross is level 57, and I
 m in a position where I do approximately 5-6 percent of the bosss health per round, but only if I do a perfect Destruction of the Heavens or whatever its called. Bearing in mind that this boss also hits me for around 4-5% of my own health per round, and forces me to defend every so often, it becomes a matter of luck. Ive literally been 1% from killing him three different times; is the battle really intended to be this insanely luck-based, or am I missing something obvious (like using another character)? Anyone whos got tips, Id welcome them, since throwing myself at a battle where I have to spam a seventeenclick magic spell more than twenty times perfectly to have even a chance of winning is kind of frustrating.

To me, music does not necessarily have to use the latest and greatest in orchestral, synth, or guitar sounds, although that could be a bonus.The trouble I find, is with midi, something like a guitar sounds really bad and I cant really get much out of that. I can, however, do OK with orchestral, although I dont think you can make it chrischendo like it does in films.

Hi,@exodus: do you know the fate of the Sega Mini Rider motion simulator that was at Trocadero? I miss that thing so much, even if I got the chance to ahve just one more ride on it Id be happy.In comparison to the other sim they had there: It could sort of swing forward and back and stuff, it didnt just tilt.The ride buttons were rectangular shaped, not round.I think the other sim was called motion fx or something, but the mini rider trumped all of them, its the only thing Ive ever given a 10/10.

Fair point, I dont really know much about google translate because I use another translation site that works better on my braillenote, but either way, switching between pages all the time would probably get a little irritating. You would probably only have to do it once to know what each page says and what all the links and buttons do, but Ill try to get in touch with the developer.

For those of you ignoring specific characters, I strongly suggest you work on their scrolls, and leveling them as to stay competitive. Different characters are better at different bosses, plus there is a point in the game where having all your characters trained up becomes vitally important.

I cant use webvision because firefox constantly crashes on me, and besides web vision only seems to work about %40 of the time anyway, which is why no game that requires a graphical capture will get a db page unless there is an alternative, either audio or mailing the developer for an account. frankly this is wikipedias problem to solve.

I definitely like the magic system but having a spell whose sequence is random each time strikes me as more than a little unfair. I ave enough trouble casting some of the more powerful spells as it is and so having one that changes eac time doesnt exactly makeme look forward to the associated fight, even if I am overleveled for it. Ross has over 600 Hp and over 100 Strength and Defense.

Well, I finally did it! I got to do my first tandem sky-dive jump, andto prove it, I have an official certificate stating that I did my firstjump with a certified instructor. No one can deny the fact that I didit! I have some rather bad news though. I was not able to record myexperience, except for what happened on the ground because when theinstructor puts on your harness and tightens the straps, they pat yourpockets to make sure you have nothing on you. I told the instructor Iwanted to record myself in free fall, but he said this is something Iwill not be able to get on tape. I was also not able to afford in buyinga video package as well. Speaking of videos, on this particular dropzone, the instructor is the one who is taking the video, and not a thirdperson. This is so they can record you doing everything. The class roomwe used was quite small, kind of like the size of a waiting room orsitting room.We left the park at around nine twenty-five or so, and we drove up tothe Sky-Diving Sports and Adventures, which is run by Ralf, chief pilotand owner of the business. I went with two other blind people, all ofwhom were first-timers like me. Still, I am really glad I had two monthsnotice about what the experience was like, even though there were a fewdifferences which I will describe as I go through my experience inorder. In short, there were five of us in the car. Three blind peopleand one visually-impaired staff member and our driver. We came to a stopin the gravel parking lot and we climbed out. The day was nice andclear, perfect for a jump with no wind, save for a cool breeze from theNorth-North-East.We all sat down at a pick-nick table, and one of the employees came andtold us that every year, there was someone who usually wanted to take avideo, and that these videos were a way to record their expe
 rience. Onlyone person opted to pay ninety-eight dollars for a video package whilethe rest of us just recorded it. I did bring my own pocket camera, and Iasked one of the staffers if they could film me doing my landing, so ina way I was partially filmed, although it would have been nicer if I goteverything.After the staff person processed the payment for the person who wantedto take video, he brought us an application for all of us to fill out.Each person was to fill out the forms one at a time, instead of at thesame time, which meant that the process took nearly an hour, plus ten tofifteen minute for the person to read the waver aloud. Since it wasquite lengthy, we all had to listen in because he was only going to readit once. The next person got to fill out the form, and soon it was myturn. The form asks for your name, age, date of birth, weight, addressand other contact information, includin

The reason the bayonet skills were put iinto melee is firstly because they are melee weapons and secondly because it makes people use different guns. Everyone played only with the AK47 and M16 just because of the bayonets but now theres much more reason to use different guns which you like. I really like the new weapon system since you hear way more variety of weapons being used in missions and it makes recovering from deaths way easier when you can even own with the super loud AR15.

Yes, they do have a tendency to just abandon products. There are so many things Id love to get hold of but which arent available. They used to have this crossword kit that had a board, kind of like Braille scrabble, but that you put these cubes in with the letters on. You could then make your own crosswords in Braille and play them from magazines. Id dearly love one but you just cant find them anywhere nowadays.

I have a question regarding the damage guide Aprone made some time ago. Is it still accurit because the individual weapon skills were removed? So if I tell the damage guide I have 100 points in to say the ACR, would it still give me an accurit damage count? Also, does the quick learner skill give 2 percent of the base XP value for each point added or is it compounded, similar to how a credit card compounds interest.

Perfect answer welshweyr, I would have said the very same thing! Nikos, it has been a while since I did that damage guilde, but I think it is still accurate. If not, then it is close enough to still be usable. Swamp does not compound any of the percentages for any of the skills. After spending a month trying to teach people how percentages even work, I decided to keep the math on things simple whenever I could.Do you guys remember those heated discussions on here and in the game? Someone starts with 100 health and gains 10 maximum health. Their current percent health drops to 91% and they believed they had actually lost health. Those were interesting times.

SPOILERWell that was a lot less painful than I was expecting. I just beatStella with only a little trouble casting Final Shot. Now that I understand how it actually works its not quite as hard since you only have a max of four tones to keep track of. And yeah Imay have been overleveld (my 122defense meant that I was only taking ten or twelve points of damage per hit), but now Im back on the Paladin and in fact inside Ross second dream. Not really sure what to do there though.

Just so people know, when you make a new character you should choose to be a cadet. This means you can start playing right away with some limitations, you can submit a profile when ready and when approved the limitations will disappear.Salvage is always good as well as courier work, but if you want to be paid immediately rather than on the Friday mail deliveries is a good alternative to couriers.Also heres a hint, make your first battlesuit a league front line soldier. The tier 1 suits only get two modules and youll need one for a weapon and the other for armour, so take the front line soldier with a projectile module and medium armour module. Then get the pistol, the medium armour 1, buy a full load of ammo and a full set of repair drones. Dont do what I did and struggle along with an AEU light combatant. The Fringe suit has a lot more weapon options but they dont have the ammo to be practical as a main weapon, and you really dont want 
 to give up your armour so youd be stuck with projectiles and light armour anyhow.

Guess not.I still do think having a scroll whose first beep is like five seconds in is kind of obnoxious, mind you. Im not suggesting you make the system easier, necessarily, just different. More beeps, less dead space and some staggering. In any case, thanks for the advice, guys.I do wonder how many galactic dusts are in the game? I also wonder how much is left for me after this boss, since all my characters are above level 50 and most dont seem to be learning much anymore.

Im betting a lot of the new arcade machines are going to consumers with far too much money on their hands. There are always people with absurd amounts of money willing to buy a really, really expensive toy.I think one of the greatest issues with arcade machines is their single purpose nature, if they made one where you could select from a library of games thatd be better though keeping them upgraded to where they could play all the new games could be very difficult. Darks right though, the capabilities of modern games consoles has pretty much made the arcade machine obsolete.

That sounds like the domain expired, and was snatched up by one of those companies that specialize in buying just expired domains and putting all kinds of search things, ads, etc. on those sites. If this is the case, then whatever server you were actually contacting has absolutely nothing to do with Spaceworlds, and you will never reach Spaceworlds by connecting to any port at that domain, assuming the game still exists in the first place.

@cx2 fringe suits only really become useful IMO once you get gravitics, which only get unlocked at higher point levelsI personally used an AEU suit as my first one, I went on a lot of nests and low priority missions were fine as long as you had the patients for them

We will just have to see what happens, but mentioning that youre afraid its no longer getting developed over and over isnt going to help anything so perhaps its a good idea to stop, often stuff like this does more harm than good.On a more positive note, I have pretty much finished building 4 stages for AAC which should be fairly tough and interesting, although I didnt yet do any custom sounds or music. I may or may not build some with custom stuff in the future, who knows.Im hoping to have these on dropbox or somewhere to download soon!

From what I remember when I tried it the vipmud pack is just a good pack of sounds, it doesnt completely transform the game the way the MushZ one does, which is why even though Im generally more a fan of Vipmud myself and would use Vipmud with any other mud I make the exception for the alter pack.
