There was supposed to be an alchemist job as well, in fact I've actually managed to find one, an enemy human alchemist on like, floor 16, mind you this is out of like 10 full playthroughs.It was pretty buggy when I looked at it, since naturally I used summon bones on it I mean, come on, wouldn't you?It said error speaking text for all of the job info, and when it fought me it just used a staff, no spells or skills.That said however, you still have plenty of good combos, E.G. fighter barbarian, fighter assassin, druid necromancer, paladin druid, paladin mage, paladin necromancer, barbarian assassin, bard assassin and more.

Do another uninstall, but this time before you reinstall, try looking in c:\users\YourUsername\appdata\roaming for a folder probably called PCS games, GMA Games, Draconis entertainment, or Sarah and the Castle of witchcraft and wizardry, then delete it, and make sure to check the other two folders in appdata, local and local o, for a similar folder, and delete that too if you find one.If you have other titles from any of those companies, then make sure to look inside first and only delete the SCW portion, otherwise you could damage your other games.Otherwise, I honestly don't know what it could be, maybe you could look for a similar folder in your documents? But that's unlikely.

quasar I will not lie to you, tekken is a difficult fighting game to keep track of what exactly is going on. seeing how fighters make a lot of similar sounds throughout various moves, its quite difficult to defend what your opponent is doing. because of the mono sound, you may alot of times hear both fighters in the middle of the headphones vs hearing them on there respective sides, left and right. this 3d fighter is not impossible for us to play and be good at, but it will take some time, a lot of time, experience, practice, and patience. I would actually highly recommend dead or alive5 over tekken7. DOA is a much older game, but the sound is much better, movement is much faster, and you will just find this 3d fighter more playable than tekken in my honest opinion.

That depends on who made your computer. Mine is a Dell Latitude laptop and one of the utilities dell makes available for some of their machines is a utility that runs in your browser as a web page that allows you to edit your BIOS settings.  When you are done you are required to reboot so your changes can be written to BIOS and then take effect.That's one of the reasons why I'm reluctant to give up this machine, and when I do finally decide to upgrade my hardware, why I'll more than likely buy another Dell.

Lirin is correct. The no cracks rule applies when games are still being actively sold and supported. Now that doesn't mean if a game hasn't been around for years but the dev hasn't said anything, it automatically counts as unsupported. But with Bavisoft that's a whole other complicated mess in and of itself. But when the dev has clearly stated they are done supporting those games, then they are abandoned.

Besides, the source that's out there on Jake's website for DECtalk is only for DECtalk 4.61 and newer, specifically DECtalk 5.0. I guess the only way you can get a hardware version is to get a DECtalk Express, which is almost like a unicorn and they're nearly impossible to find these days, even though I found a few listings for some units on eBay. Another way to get a hardware DECtalk is the DECtalk USB (which is still being sold last time I contacted Access Solutions), but unless you want to give out your credit card information over the phone (since they don't have an online shop), I wouldn't get it. The device runs a version of DECtalk 5.0, made to sound like the classic DECtalk voices, in terms of voice quality. It does sing, if you send it a text file with a utility that comes on the installation CD, if you are wondering if it can sing.

Ah yes! Although I didn't post any comments there, I have seen that thread and my personal thought was that if he wants to create a game that's enjoyable by both the sighted and the visually impaired, that's great! I just hope that he doesn't do it by tacking on accessibility for the visually impaired as an after thought.Beyond that, I'm all in for a game that's inclusive of both the sighted and the visually impaired. There are way too few games available that both sides can truly enjoy together.

Hi, its possible that your game could be getting stuck as a result of that freezing glitch, what's your player name and ship name. Oh, and for everyone else. I'm designing a new class of ship that'll have autopilot built in, and improved tractor beam speed and sensors. I've also fixt the glitch that prevented people from landing on an object if their were more next to it.

I downloaded Brian's TWPE zip. Had a look, shouldn't have any trouble copying the image to a flash, or changing the boot order in bios with sighted help, but I'm still not sure what kind of environment PE is. Suppose I'll find out when I boot to it. Brian's readme doesn't say anything about the Talking PE itself, only how to copy it to a flash or whatever. I take it NVDA is already part of the system Brian has created, and starts automatically. As for Windows PE itself, the bits and bobs I've read on the web are clearly aimed at I T workers and are pitched over my head. They don't really say anything about using it to perform a recovery in a straight forward way. I'm hoping it's as simple as Windows backup and restore and I can just pick a system image from a partition and kick off the recovery that way.

Their's no tutorial for offline story, however updating the help is something i'm just about to get started on. Oh, and for those who had trouble with this. I've noticed that creation was running into some difficulties when it came to select your skill class, i've patched it up. Delete and recreate your char if you had a glitch where you got stuck in creation and couldn't select your skill class and you'll be good to go.

In a nutshell, the PE environment can be thought of as a very scaled down copy of Windows with only a few of the tools that normally come with it. And yes NVDA is installed and set up to start automatically. Once it's loaded, spend a few minutes exploring the start menu to see what is there. If you're familiar with Windows, the PE environment shouldn't be a problem for you to understand.

True, disc duplication doesn't alter the software so it's safer than cracks. Once you can successfully make a working duplicate, you can reapet the process, but this time save the disc as an image. That way it could be made available through the internet. All downloaders have to do is use the image file with Clone CD  to make their own disc.I think the real challenge will be the accessibility of Clone CD itself.

so, I am trying asteroid harvesting now, but looks like there is a bug makeing the locking   proses stuck. and,  another mager bug is, if you leave your spaceship when its on the space, you will be back to the station somehow and for manual pilot, I wish there is a quick turning or something, currently turning around is kindda slow.

Here is my basic marketing strategy right now:- Trying to connect to UX types. I've already gotten a few to follow my twitter and the ones following aren't that bad as some of the... others. lol. They seem to like the "out of the box" thinking my game presents. So I try to respond to random UX tweets in my feed every day to try to suggest alternative ideas that "think outside the box".- Trying to push the angle that this is the first audio game of its size that can be streamed on Twitch for the blind, with a connectivity . I want to encourage a blind streaming community outside of fighters and a few other titles. Actually, this was the main drive behind having the graphics mode but its great to be useful for others too. Streaming this way though will likely require a LOT of CPU since running both is somewhat CPU intensive . With a good computer though I think you should be fine (I'm stuck using this 3 year old laptop lol)- Tryi
 ng to push to indie gamers that the game is about color, try to encourage people to get involved with the social themes (which are really just a set up for a much bigger story) and talking about the accessibility engine more in the context of their gaming experience - dark areas that can be navigated with sound.I plan to try to work with some of the PR people in these chats but I have to really really improve the state of the game. It's not "bad" or anything but I need to really make it shine. I've got bascially until August/September.One of the hardest things honestly is that the UX people and the Indie people are so different despite having a mutual interest in disabilities. However, most of my development is on visual stuff since that's what indie people like to see, so I try to keep the UX train going by constantly discussing with them instead. The audio engine itself is just an overlay anyways so it is just a single part of the development
 .Also as previously stated it does NOT help that a lot of the UX people are super circle jerky with how awesome they think they are. There's so much fucking stupid. I see at least a few exceedingly dumb and embarrassing tweets every day.I've currently been networking on discord servers and people are impressed, I've only been doing this for 2 months so I guess having 130 followers isn't bad.Also, I'm trying to help out Out of Sight Games as well since they're doing a very similar thing; I haven't had anyone in these discord communities comment on it unfortunately but yeah. If my game somehow takes off I will definitely plug for you Joseph.I really hope that both my game and Hero's Call is able to kind of challenge these ideas about UX a bit, since it seems like just a stagnation machine at the moment in most respects.

Jesus guys, this is a war simulation game, not a universe simulation game. We might as well ask for weather patterns, fully implemented solar system (randomly generated, of course), randomly generated religions for every faction, randomly generated plants and mountains and terrains and oceans,, randomly generated waste products for different races, a full list of every rock and ore in the universe for mining, an ore-to-metal refinement system, ultra intelligent AI that will contact your toaster from within the warsim application and make you toast to your exact specifications (with, of course, a randomly generated option), fully immersive virtual reality for combat scenes, oh, and I guess fully implemented physics engine, too. I'll admit I haven't downloaded the latest warsim in a couple months, but I'll snatch it next update and check out all the cool new chang

I believe it's in Winetrix but don't quote me on that, the Windows version installs sapi and NVDA .dll files, so I was gonna try to get SAPI going with it, but no dice so far...and the Linux istructions aren't, for me at least, going anywhere

First, a war Simulator can be fairly complex, since nearly everything is involved, even in times of a war. Secondly, from I understood, it should become a mix between RPG and strategy, so These suggestions are fully okay and just ideas. If wastelander likes them and he wants to implement them or not, is his decision. Nobody is laughing about your ideas and ideas are what makes warsim even better. If you don't like all suggestions, fine but let other People make theier suggestions. I don't think that my ideas are as unrealistic as you think. And yes, weather conditions are also important in war situations. I made this Suggestion earlier and from what I read, wastelander liked it. Ideas are not forbidden, they are welcome.

This is exactly the reason why I have been against the code factory eloquence ever since it came out.I like eloquence the best out of all the tts sinths,and would pay for a sapi5 version willingly if it did not have the DRM,and a shitty DRM at that.But alas as things stand now there's no way I can get rid of the DRM even if I were to purchase it,so its a moot point. and I do hope people don't go about wasting their $$ through buying this only to end up losing keys with  no way to get them back.Even if you are super careful, through HDD crashes and the like you are more likely to lose a key no matter what,and what if codefactory isn't around to get you your keys back? that's $59 down the drain.grryf

Greetings all. A few changes to asteroids, so listen up. For those who have had difficulty locking onto asteroids, that is attempting to lock and finding it takes an eternity, I did not realize that when you were clicking lock onto asteroid it was picking the furthest one that was still in tractor beam range and attempting to pull that in. Thus, if you have multiple asteroids with in your tractor beams range, you will now be prompted to select from which asteroid you wish to pull in, the menu will also show how far an asteroid is from your ship. I suggest finding the closest one. In addition, clicking unlock from current asteroid will now instead of simply telling you that your already locked, will now abort the locking procedure if your locking onto an asteroid but haven't fully locked. Enjoy.

OK, so when I saw that this game had won the Apple WWDC Design awards (congratulations!), and read that it did so because, among other things, it had accessibility, I decided that I must check it out, and I'm very glad I did. It's really quite wonderful, and  mind-blowing besides. I'm surprised, in fact, that it's even possible, or that Apple would award such a thing. But anyway, it's earned a place on my "preferred" list, so again, congratulations.

To those who tried to mine asteroids and found their locks getting stuck, its working now, I mistyped one line which would cause that loop to error out as soon as you started to tractor with my previous change, and didn't notice it. Anyways, its working now, I was able to mine and transfer my mined materials. The new ship should be roling out soon, i'm just going to test a few more things with it. It has a vastly upgraded cargo hold and an improved tractor beam system installed, with better speed although it has reduced range. Its acceleration is also not the best, but you get an autopilot, pluss the manual pilot controls your all figuring out and in addition to that, the change engine power and change ship heading manual pilot controls as well.

Reinstalled Ubuntu Mate 15.04, got the thing to compile and shit, am now at the point where I need to edit makefile.That's all well and goodbuthere's the really, really strange thing.speechd shows up as empty. makefile.am  has no Pyton references.Did I merely type speechd  wrong or did I just open the wrong file??Also autopilot? Losers. Reminds me of the Russian vs Western argument/training over flying, in Russia/former USSR they hand flew as much as possible.So, uh, how much does the ship with AP cost?

Thanks for that correction, though now that you mentioned it, I think I may have read that before... which is why I said I believe so. Makes sense since they would have to manage between three platforms.@quasar, that is one of the things where mono games become a problem. The fact is though, at least in Tekken, jumping doesn't occur as much as it does in other games. But when it does, there's no way to tell, exactly, until after they've already landed. The best thing to do with playing fighting games like this is to simply do your best to keep track of your positioning, because given the way fighting games are designed, if you know where you are, that's pretty much 50% of the equation, though 3d fighting games make it harder because there is no way to distinguish things like side stepping and whether you are face up or face down on the ground, with your feet toward or away from your opponent. But that's a problem even in sould calibur where everythi
 ng is in stereo.

Right, using their tech support system is a joke because nobody ever replies. What I did that got a reply was to follow the contact us link and filled out the form it leads you to. Although that link might get you someone on their executive staff instead of someone in tech support. They might be able to help you get some help from tech support.My approach to them is to be very careful with my activations, and use my image restore technique when something doesn't go right to get my activations back. And to keep my eyes open for a version without their shitty DRM, though I don't specifically go out of my way for that.

Are you saying as well as being able to sell resources at a merchant station for credits you would like to be able to sell resources to other players for credits (instead of an exchange)?

lol to be honest I am not sure myself about the layout, but first, if you want to purchase your first ship, you have to go to the shipyard terminal, face east from your starting location after selecting the skill. you should hear a beep beep door around there, sidestep or what ever and center the  sounds and press e , you will be on a corridor I believe, the door to the shipyard is somewhere on the south. if you found it, turn around untill you centerd the bird ish connsole sounds. and walk strate to it, if you feel close enough just press e. go purchase the ship , and you have to return to your starting room, your ship is there, though I am not sure how to correctly enter it, I just randomly walking and bashing e and an airlock menu showed up. if you are already inside, you are on the  entrance room, there is the door to the east leading to, ur no idea, corridor maybe?, on that room there is a door through the north wall wich will lead you to the control room/bridge. yo
 u just have to follow the  conssole sounds after then.sorry my english roflrofl

My philosophy on blindness is that blindness sucks because of external limitations than the blindness itself, would you agree with this? AKA, the experience of being blind being shitty is caused by inability to do things rather than the actual experience itself. For people who go blind, the extra problem of having to adjust to a completely different way of life also compounds the issue.

My philosophy on blindness is that blindness sucks because of external limitations than the blindness itself, would you agree with this? AKA, the experience of being blind being shitty is caused by inability to do things rather than the actual experience itself. For people who go blind, the extra problem of having to adjust to a completely different way of life also compounds the issue.I kind of stand awkwardly here because I do kind of genuinely enjoy doing things blind, which is why I research ways to improve it, but what frustrates me about it is just how... behind the technology is, how behind the people are, ect.
