It was an actual letter sent to a man named Ryan DeVries by the Michigan
Department of Environmental Quality, State of Michigan.

  Dagget
  Pierson, MI 49339 SUBJECT: DEQ File No. 97-59-0023; T11N;
R10W, Sec. 20; Montcalm County Dear Mr. DeVries: It
has come to the attention of the Department of Environmental Quality that
there has been recent unauthorized activity on the above referenced parcel
of property. You have been certified as the legal landowner and/or
contractor who did the following unauthorized activity:
Construction and maintenance of two wood debris dams across the
outlet stream of Spring Pond. A permit must be issued prior to the start
of this type of activity. A review of the Department's files shows that no
permits have been issued. Therefore, the Department has determined that
this activity is in violation of Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams, of
the Natural Resource and Environmental Protection Act, Act 451 of the
Public Acts of 1994, being sections 324.30101 to 324.30113 of the Michigan
Compiled Laws, annotated. The Department has been informed that
one or both of the dams partially failed during a recent rain event,
causing debris and flooding at downstream locations. We find that dams of
this nature are inherently hazardous and cannot be permitted. The
Department therefore orders you to cease and desist all activities at this
location, and to restore the stream to a free-flow condition by removing
all wood and brush forming the dams from the stream channel. All
restoration work shall be completed no later than January 31, 2002.
Please notify this office when the restoration has been completed
so that a follow-up site inspection may be scheduled by our staff. Failure
to comply with this request or any further unauthorized activity on the
site may result in this case being referred for elevated enforcement
action. We anticipate and would appreciate your full cooperation
in this matter. Please feel free to contact me at this office if you have
  any questions. Sincerely,
David L. Price District Representative Land and Water Management
  Division *** Dear Mr. Price:
Re: DEQ File No. 97-59-0023; T11N; R10W, Sec. 20; Montcalm County.
Your certified letter dated 12/17/01 has been handed to me to
respond to. First of all, Mr. Ryan DeVries is not the legal
Landowner and/or Contractor at 2088 Dagget, Pierson, Michigan. I am the
legal owner and a couple of beavers are in the (State unauthorized)
process of constructing and maintaining two wood "debris" dams across the
outlet stream of my Spring Pond. While I did not pay for,
authorize, nor supervise their dam project, I think they would be highly
offended that you call their skillful use of natures building materials
"debris." I would like to challenge your department to attempt to
emulate their dam project any time and/or any place you choose. I believe
I can safely state there is no way you could ever match their dam skills,
their dam resourcefulness, their dam ingenuity, their dam persistence,
their dam determination and/or their dam work ethic. As to your
request, I do not think the beavers are aware that they must first fill
out a dam permit prior to the start of this type of dam activity.
My first dam question to you is: (1) Are you trying to
discriminate against my Spring Pond Beavers or (2) do you require all
beavers throughout this State to conform to said dam request? If
you are not discriminating against these particular beavers, through the
Freedom of Information Act, I request completed copies of all those
other applicable beaver dam permits that have been issued. Perhaps we will
see if there really is a dam violation of Part 301, Inland Lakes and
Streams, of the Natural Resource and Environmental Protection Act, Act
451 of the Public Acts of 1994, being sections 324.30101 to 324.30113 of
the Michigan Compiled Laws, annotated. I have several concerns. My
first concern is -- aren't the beavers entitled to legal representation?
The Spring Pond Beavers are financially destitute and are unable to pay
for said representation -- so the State will have to provide them with a
dam lawyer. The Department's dam concern that either one or both of
the dams failed during a recent rain event causing flooding is proof that
this is a natural occurrence, which the Department is required to
protect. In other words, we should leave the Spring Pond Beavers

2003-02-13 Thread James Hedley
Dear Ed,
Greetings from the Land of the Wizards of Oz
I will try to start the ball rolling in this discussion. I use various
Radionic devices to broadcast preps and other homeopathic substances. Mostly
with satisfying results. Never have I been an advocate of continuous
broadcast.
Short broadcasts used intermittently, in series, with a gap between the
series have given the best results. Initial broadcast may be for a period of
3 or 4 days, then a break of at least a day, another couple of days of
broadcast and then another break. However radionic analysis will indicate
time and frequency of treatment.
If I could find an interrupter as developed by Malcolm Rae, with it's
pulsing action, that would probably be the most efficient. I agree with you
that pulsed cyclic broadcast could prove to be the most effective form.
It is most important to constantly monitor what is happening in the subject
area being broadcast to.
I don't know about Stella Natura but from experience trials have shown that
the effect of Mercury in retrograde is detrimental to the efficacy of any
homeopathic substance. Try making homeopathic remedies with Mercury in
retrograde and measure the energetic patterns of your remedies. Then spray
them out and visually compare the effects. Fundamental ray strength is
decreased during this period.
Use your pendulum to measure the strength of the fundamental ray of a tree
and you will see that it varies from day to day. Sometimes the pendulum will
swing maybe 12 inches or more out from the tree, another time it may only be
a few inches. Something varies from day to day, exactly what is impossible
to say. It is only by conducting long term research work with very accurate
record, such as that conducted by the Kolisko's that we will really
understand the effects of Electronic Homeopathy on plants, animals and
soils.

You ponder that Maybe cyclic broadcasts might be more effective, keeping
the chaos/order
energy-building process in mind. (Would the energy patterns start reverting
towards 'chaos' after the broadcast was stopped?). I have seen areas where
the use of field broadcasters has proved detrimental, whether by the design,
or placement of them, on the other hand there are many recorded instances
where radionic broadcast have proved to be effective. Radionics is only one
of many tools that can assist in farming. Understand the uses and
limitations of each one.
Whether a radionic broadcast during any period is detrimental, or not, I am
unable to categorically affirm or reject, however my personal feelings are
that to continually try to hold order instead of chaos/order will have long
term detrimental effects. Life patterns are in a continual state of flux,
with substance breaking down to form the building blocks for the renewal of
life. How do we know when to enhance order and when to enhance chaos by not
doing anything? The answer is continual radionic analysis to monitor the
results of our actions.
The beauty of radionic analysis is that you are able to pretest the likely
effect of any proposed action. A classic case was at the last 'wizards
conference' at Bellingen where we are able to indicate which of the BD preps
would enhance the vitality of a particular soil, and which would decrease
the vitality. BD preps are not benign substances, they are very powerful.
Used in isolation they can just as easily as destroy productive soil as they
can enhance life force in the soil or plants.

I suppose that the point is are we prepared to work with nature, or are we
going to try to enforce our will over the life forces, and all the
elementals. To try to exert control over nature to conform with our wishes
by the use of continuous radionic broadcast is really no different to
genetic engineering. Both are attempting to modify life energies, without
any concern for the elemental life forces. The task is to be able to use
both with wisdom, while doing the least amount of damage, while
experimenting as to how far we can modify life energies, without destroying
ourselves.
Use radionic broadcast to enhance nature, gently and in moderation. Develop
an awareness of what is going on around you, note the effects of your
actions on all things, then one day you may be able to state that this/ or
that are true. Through an understanding of the underlying principles of
radionics and continual analysis of our actions will we be able to gain the
wisdom to use radionics effectively without having the need to control the
processes of nature.
Go well
James Hedley

Unable to attend the Future of the Preparations workshop I am sending this

Stephen Storch, Johanna Halsy, Florence Rewinski, Laura Ricardi
P.O. box 467, Water Mill, NY 11976, 631 726-6783

I have come to realize the role that the biodynamic remedies play in our
lives and existence. Before elements or substance may manifest in a physical
expression they must first be realized in a spiritual plane. Only after this
realization occurs may it begin to fulfill its potential. In this spiritual
plane exists the blueprint for substance, the possibility for base elements
to be raised up into highly organized matter. The biodynamic remedies
provide a refined substance and the pattern energy for the spirit to work
with within the physical and spiritual realms. [inspired by sharon ingersoll,
em working group]
Human participation in the raising of livestock and the eventual harvest
and gathering of the sheath material from this livestock raises the substance
to a higher spiritual and physical plane, a higher vibrational energy. Human
cultivation of the preparation plants treated with the biodynamic remedies
compounds this synergy, again raising physical substance to a higher
vibrational realm. The removal of the stag’s bladder reminds me of Arthur’s
extraction of the sword from the stone making us not king’s; but
farmer-priests in service of the Earth Mother. When we stir the water and
create the vortex, the eternally creative intelligence of the Universe is
imprinted into the ever malleable substance of water along with all of our
love, divinity and human striving. The suctional energy of the vortex
pulling in, pulling down the information of the moment streaming in from the
universe, the home of the Logos. And the biodynamic remedies, becoming one
with the water and the cosmic information coming down into the earthly realm.
So the biodynamic remedies call forth this spiritual information from the
cosmos and bring down to earth a new substance expressed in the form of grass
or our foodstuffs and livestock. Eventually this reaches into earth’s
humanity, for those who consciously choose to participate and live in this
process.
Over the thirteen years I have studied and worked with the biodynamic
methods I have come to understand that it is a multifaceted discipline.
There are things other great minds have said that ring true and help bring me
to a deeper understanding of the potential that we call biodynamics. Wilhelm
Reich, a researcher whose work describes orgone energy, bions and how humans
and earth are effected by this pattern energy. My investigations under the
microscope show an incredible expression of the bion energy in the biodynamic
remedies and compost teas made with them. Bluish, vibrating bacterium in the
teas exhibit the phenomenon. Blue particles of silica in earthworm castings
bring it forth in another realm.
Incorporatiing the theories of Viktor Schauberger into making earth
healing fructigenic fertilizers with biodynamic remedies have brought
astounding and dramatic results. For two years I have made horn manure and
put the horns into an egg shaped urn buried in the earth to its rim back
filled with barrel compost. The resulting humus substance is just like
bd500, but used at the rate of one teaspoon per acre. Last year I had the
opportunity to initiate the healing of twenty five acres of land in
Southampton on Head of Pond Road just west of the intersection on Scuttlehole
Road. It was chemically farmed since the war years without rest and what we
would call care. It was not properly limed, rested or subsoiled because it
was rented land and the potato farmer did not care. A horse barn was raised
and a pasture planted. Late in the Spring of 2002 I did one spray of this
“new” horn manure with equisetum, barrel compost and Agnihotra Ash. The
pasture grew beautifully all summer with no irrigation and no rain. The
roots quickened in the earth as if under bd care for three to five years.
The urn acts as an amplifier and increases the effectiveness of the cowhorn
vessel. The visual and physical evidence cannot be denied. This method
merits further attention. Horn silica was also made this way. Similarly
astounding results were noted on brassicas, strawberries and raspberries.
We are also making yarrow, chamomile, nettles, and dandelion
preparations. We will be creating an artificial “creek” for making oak bark
and have several valerian plants to grow and propigate this spring. The vi
neyard where I consult in Mattituck, Long Island keeps a herd of Texas
Longhorn cattle. Here we harvest sheathe material several times a year,
really more than we can use. Last summer the dandelion was collected dried
and made into a beautiful

horns

2003-02-13 Thread flylo
I know the topic came up awhile back, but SStorch's post about
'sheath material' struck a chord.
Before we moved back to the farm, my neighbor ran some of his
cows over here. They were old and even once I had my own herd,
his insisted on coming 'home' to calve. A few, as they aged, died
here. When I could find them, I'd let the fire ants clean up the
skulls and I'd haul them to the house. If you've ever handled a cow
skull, you know the horn sheath is actually just a loose covering
(after the cow doesn't need it anymore). The horn material inside is
normally much like a large sponge. When the horn is alive, the
sponge is blood-filled and actively moving heat and wastes through
the top of the cow's head, but once the horn is dead, the material
calcifies and looks like a hardened piece of coral that actually goes
the length of the cow's sinus cavity. (Or so it seems to me).
My question is, would 4 - 6 horns from these old, wild (and
hopefully happy) cows be enough to work with the horn manure? I'd
prefer them over anything my vet or a slaughterhouse would
provide, I'd think. And, if I asked my neighbors for their dead cow's
horns, they'd think I was either doing something highly profitable
(artistically), or something involving witchcraft.

Dear James,
Can I put a different twist on the short broadcast?
(I dont think there's all that much wrong with longer broadcast times - as
long as we dodge the no go zones as you and Ed have already covered -
trines, nodes, mercury retrograde etc etc) - What I do think is happening is
that with shorter broadcast periods there is much more active and effective
participation by the person doing the treatment, and that is very
important.(I jokingly spoke of 'serious intent' at Bellingen - thats what I
mean here) I believe now that without that involvement, passive radionic
devices like a field broadcaster will not work to anything like their true
potential. Some people can maintain that active participation from afar
(Peter Bacchus - Hugh Lovel) others make it like a little ritual setting up
treatment, new potencies, putting it out there for a specific time etc. That
seems to be what works for me. So my take is its the better operator
involvement that is the main factor - What do you think?
Cheers

OT: Important Bush Lawsuit

2003-02-13 Thread Maxwriter
Hello. FYI, I've sent the below article to a couple of (what I consider to be)
cutting-edge journalist/commentators here in the US, with a note asking them to
consider incorporateing in one of their columns, commentary considering that these
individuals [joining in the below-described lawsuit] are very brave and that media on
them will help make violence upon them less likely.

And sugesting that a hook (if I understand that journalistic term a-right) for a
column, might be the below-described lawsuit as one of many kinds of atempts by
American citizens to take concrete steps to stop what seems to amount to a coming
atrocity, including the mass demonstrations (that have occurred these past weeks, and
are intended to occur in a day or so all over the country not to speak of the world)
against this threatened, unprovoked attack [on Iraq, which the lawsuit seeks to stop]
by a certain faction of our U.S. Govt, AND including the women and others who take
their clothes off and lie prostrate on the ground to show by their naked bodies not
only their (and Iraqui citizens') human vulnerability, but also their commitment level
(it takes a high comitment to get naked in our somewhat uptight society AND cold!) to
justice, AND including the VoteToImpeach effort spearheaded by former Atty-Gen. Ramsey
Clark (thank you, Markess, for that post a while back). I'm sure there are plenty of
other signs of citizen discontent with Resident Bush's ( Co.) illegal [IMHO] moves,
but these are the only ones I've personally read about.

Lawsuit Challenges Bush Authority on Iraq
  By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

  Filed at 1:17 p.m. ET
BOSTON (AP) -- A group of U.S. soldiers, parents of
 soldiers
and six U.S. House members filed a lawsuit in federal
 court
Thursday seeking to stop the president from launching a
 war
against Iraq without a declaration of war from Congress.
The lawsuit seeks an immediate injunction against Bush and
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to prevent them from
  launching an invasion of Iraq.
Reps. John Conyers, D-Mich., and the other plaintiffs in
 the
lawsuit say a resolution passed by Congress in October did
 not
specifically declare war and unlawfully ceded the decision
 to
  Bush.
Conyers cited an excerpt from Article 1, Section 8 of the
 U.S.
Constitution that states, ``Congress shall have power ...
 to
  declare war.''
``Get it? Only Congress,'' Conyers said Thursday at a news
  conference in Washington.
John Bonifaz, the Boston attorney who filed the lawsuit,
 said
Bush is rushing to war without seeking approval or even a
  thorough debate by Congress.
``We have a message for President Bush today -- read the
  Constitution,'' Bonifaz said.
``The president is not a king,'' he said. ``He does not
 have
the power to wage war against another country absent a
  declaration of war from Congress.''
Congress has not formally declared a war since World War
 II.
A similar lawsuit filed against Bush's father before the
 Gulf
War by 54 members of Congress was denied by a federal
 judge in
  December 1990.
That judge said he agreed in principle that the president
 must
seek congressional authorization for war, but said the
 elder
President Bush had not clearly committed to a course of
action. The judge also noted that only about 10 percent of
 the
Congress had asked for the injunction -- a percentage he
 said
wasn't representative of the entire body.
Bonifaz said this new lawsuit is different because in
 addition
to the six members of Congress, soldiers have asked for
 the
  injunction.
``They are facing the possibility of death,'' he said.
One of the plaintiffs, Nancy Lessin, said the people
 planning
the war aren't facing the possibility their loved ones
 will be
killed. She said she has 25-year-old twin stepsons, one of
  whom is in the Marines.
``We'd like to challenge George Bush to send one of his
 twins
to war. Then let's have a discussion about whether or not
 we
should go to war,'' she said. The president has
 21-year-old
  twin daughters.

If folk would like to discuss the technical side of designing and
building the electronics to make an Interrupter of like device. I am
prepared to help. I think it should be off list as it would be outside

be able to build up circuit board and understand a little about the

I have ideas of how this can be included into broadcast devices.

discontinuous broadcast might have advantages. After all a blinking light
has more impact than an even brighter continuous light. Maybe cyclic
broadcasts might be more effective, keeping the chaos/order

reverting towards chaos after the broadcast was stopped?)(The broadcast
does create more order?) So here I ponder.

Would it benefit one to keep the Stella in hand when using a broadcast
device? Which events would one want to let occur without a broadcast?
Would a scheduled broadcast be more effective than one not? How does one
figure this out?

I know a number of list members do broadcast. It might be beneficial to

 Hi Diana
I collect things to burn on an opportunistic basis - when you
see it grab it, often collecting the specimen is difficult to do at the
correct timing for burning, - if you have the specimens already collected
then you can make best advantage of the burning time. I think moon in leo is
good for weeds. You may be able to dowse for better times but leo is a good

Be aware that some plant material is toxic when burnt so dont fumigate
