UI in the sense that person will be responsible for creating the look and feel of the Android design (leveraging iOS designs) but then also my team conducts usability testing and so in my mind there is also an element of UX where this person needs to solve for issues that surface in customer testing and make those recommended experience design changes for both iOS and Android comps before turning over to IT. Please look for someone with a Graphic Design degree or history (This will separate people who are actually designers from people who are developers.
