[BVARC] Greater Houston Hamfest Meeting - This Saturday, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, March 10, 2018

The Greater Houston Hamfest is only nine days away. There is still a lot of
planning and coordination that needs to be done. This Saturday between 1 and
3 pm, I hope to get everything on the final page for the Hamfest.

 

If you have already volunteered for a position, please make sure you make
the meeting to finalize your schedule. If you would like to volunteer, come
to the meeting to sign up and find out your assignment. 

 

There is a lot of work to finish up but I feel everything will work out well
this year for the Hamfest.  

 

I knew I was forgetting something - The meeting will be held at the Sugar
Land Parks Department Recreational Center, 234 Matladge Way (across the
street from the Sugar Land Post Office).

[BVARC] BVARC meeting - Thursday night - March 8th

Just a reminder of the meeting this Thursday evening at 7:30 at the Sugar Land 
Masonic Lodge - 421 Eldridge Rd. - Sugar Land
We'll have the World's Biggest Buildathon kit - a solderless 20m transmitter 
available for you to build during the meeting.If you are interested - we 
request that you bring $12.50 for the kit - and that you also bring a 9-volt 
battery, needle nose pliers and a magnifying glass (to ID parts).We're limited 
to 30 kits - so if you want one, let us know in advance and one will be set 
aside for you.
