Hi Beverley Ballentine,
Your family matches my Mother in Law's family members a few Generations back.
Uncle James Balentine attended my wedding in 1October 1959.  He died shortly
afterward.  However, the James Balentine family was from Coatesville,
Pennsylvania.  You can contact me if you would like atlpnca...@aol.com.  There
are direct relatives to the Balentine family on Ancestry.com.  Melanie Flowers
is in the direct line, and my daughter's Hoffman line.  We are Back to the
Mayflower Family.I have not seen any connections back to Kentucky.  I believe
we have a James Ballentine married to Nancy Fulton, but I am not able to find
the information at this time.

Hi Katie,
If you send me a message and befriend me I will trade trees. I must admit at
80 I am not sure how to do it.
I have Mayflower families, but the Stinson's are on my tree, but not a
Mayflower family. You, of course, know that fact. My Mayflower families are
the Allerton's and the Cushman's that married. I also have the Tuttle family
tree that sailed on to Boston and settled there and Hartford Conneticut and
owned the land that is
now Yale University. My name is Carol Burrows Hoffman, originally from
Havertown, Pa. My direct
e-mail is lpnca...@aol.com.
Glad to meet you. I have been corresponding with a Stinson family, and two show
up on Ancestry, related to the Donnelly's.

Chat later,
Blessings,
Carol

Hello. Yes, I’ve got about six Mayflower families on my father’s side of the
family. Shall we trade trees?

cheers,

Re: [CoTyroneMailingList] (no subject) (Trainor, Omagh research)

2017-08-12 Thread Len Swindley
Hello Patti and Butch,

The RC registers you are seeking are available for searching online. Omagh town
lies within Drumragh parish. It will also be worth your while to refer to the
registers of adjacent parishes – Cappagh and Langfield and perhaps others. Many
emigrants stated their place of origin as the closest post town, not their
actual residential address.
http://registers.nli.ie/

Drumragh RC parish: baptisms 1846-84
Cappagh RC parish: baptisms 1843-82
Langfield RC parish: 1846-81

Trusting you find this useful,

I am seeking information on the Trainors from Omagh. My great Uncle James
Trainor left Omagh in 1880ish for America.
He sailed from Cobh and arrived in Philadelphia, PA. He became a Monsignor
in Northeast Philadelphia before his death.
I believe he was born around 1865-1870. And would have been baptized in a
Roman Catholic Church in Omagh.
