Bug#647875: RFS: tuxonice-userui
I've prepared a new version of tuxonice-userui package, it is available at http://mentors.debian.net/package/tuxonice-userui and http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/tuxonice-userui.git;a=summary It is a new upstream version (which merges all interfaces into a single binary and links it dynamically), with disabled fbsplash support (AFAIK it needs complementary packages which are not available in Debian) and some bug fixes in the maintainer scripts and the initramfs hook. I wanted to ask you to sponsor the package before seeking the sponsor publicly. -- WBR, wRAR signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Bug#662924: [Pkg-fonts-devel] Bug#662924: ttf-freefont: What is Untitled1.ttf?
Hey Steve, Am Donnerstag, den 08.03.2012, 11:14 +0100 schrieb Steve White: The TrueType and OpenType binaries *intended by the FreeFont people* BTW, whatis the prefered font format by FreeFont upstream, Truetype or Opentype? I am asking for two reasons: 1) In Debian we are switching to format-independent package names for fonts, i.e. ttf-freefont will become fonts-freefont (or maybe fonts-gnu-freefont, as the freefont name is a bit generic) with one of the next uploads. That means, we have to decide for one font format in the packages, as we are not going to package both ttf and otf. 2) Currently, FreeMono is the default font for the texttopdf filter in cups-filters, and the filter *needs* it in ttf format. I have currently sent a patch against cups-filters to query fontconfig for a valid alternative if freemono.ttf could not be found, but it sounds reasonable nevertheless to at least provide the prefered font in the expected format. Maybe, if you happen to prefer otf, we could provide Sans and Serif in otf and Mono in ttf? - Fabian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#663105: libreoffice-calc: list validation menus sometimes too small
On Thu, Mar 08, 2012 at 01:11:08PM +0100, Francesco Potortì wrote: If I activate validation for a cell where accepted values are from a list, the menu showing the list values is as wide as the cell itself. There are cases, however, where this is not reasonable, and the width should be the one of the widest list item. In fact, when I set a cell to contain text that is longer than the cell's width, either because the text spills over the cell on the right, or because of text wrapping in the cell, then the text in the dropdown menu becomes truncated and unreadable. I do not observe this problem in Gnumeric, which, apparently, makes the menu as wide as the widest entry in the list. Try in a supported and feature-wise development version. I use Debian testing. It would be currently unfeasible to me trying a more recent version until it goes to testing. So for me the choice is among reporting against what I use or not reporting at all... *Any* wishlist bug against 3.4.5 does not make any sense) Hm. I was betting against the problem having already been corrected. In fact, if I am not wrong, your statement implies that normal users cannot ask for new features. By using Debian testing I would place myself among advanced users, yet I do not use the latest version of Libreoffice. And still it would be better to file such stuff upstreasm, as them and only them will eventually implement it. I won't. I use the Debian reporting system mainly because it is far quicker for me and I hope that the Debian maintainer pushes significant reports upstream. Anyway, what you say holds for any package: do you mean that wishlist bugs reported in Debian are only meaningful if they are related to Debian packaging issues? Bug is sent from a different box. I can reproduce the problem in a clean chroot. The reason is that the files aren't under dpkg's control, but under ucf's instead. Therefore we need to manually - remove the files along with ucf-new or however they might be called - ucf --purge the files - ucfr --purge the files. I was betting against the problem having already been corrected. In fact, if I am not wrong, your statement implies that normal users cannot ask for new features. By using Debian testing I would place myself Nah. People using stable hava a reson for doing this. But you use testing (a development version) anyway. among advanced users, yet I do not use the latest version of Libreoffice. And still it would be better to file such stuff upstreasm, as them and only them will eventually implement it. I won't. I use the Debian reporting system mainly because it is far quicker for me and I hope that the Debian maintainer pushes significant reports upstream. That's what I am doing, but it takes time.. Anyway, what you say holds for any package: do you mean that wishlist bugs reported in Debian are only meaningful if they are related to Debian packaging issues? I guess this depends on whether the maintainer has time to deal with stuff like this itself - in this case here I mainly just forward them and close them whenever upstream did it (which might never happen), so it brings little value here. I simply have no time for serious upstream work. And it of course depends on the package size and whether it's trivial to fix something or not... The package is available at http://mentors.debian.net/package/mpdscribble and http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-mpd/mpdscribble.git;a=summary I want to ask you to sponsor the package before searching for a sponsor publicly. -- WBR, wRAR signature.asc Description: Digital signature
Bug#663110: enigmail: new upstream version 1.4
Hi! Given that icedove 9.x is in experimental, this is a humble request if you could upload the newer 1.4 release of enigmail. [CC:ing the icedove maintainers] Considering the fact that icedove 10 should be uploaded really soon and enigmail needs changes to the build system when switching from icedove 9 to 10, I'll wait for icedove 10 to be uploaded before I do the next enigmail upload. Bug#649032: libsigc++2.0 : New upstream release / NMU to DELAYED/10
Hi Daniel, since glibmm is now requiring the newer libsigc++ (via a versioned pkg-config configure check), I decided to NMU libsigc++ 2.2.10. The changes between 2.2.9 and 2.2.10 are rather small. The most important one, is the patch I applied in my previous NMU. To avoid the noise generated by autotools, I only included debian/ in my debdiff (attached). The upstream tarball is at [1] I've uploaded to DELAYED/10. Please let me know if I should cancel the NMU or delay it further. Bug#663145: apt-listchanges: aptitude show apt-listchanges does not have a homepage or a wiki page
Package: apt-listchanges Version: 2.85.9 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer, Aptitude does not show any homepage URL or wiki page for apt-listchanges. Hence its difficult to either know about the tool's roadmap or see what the status is apart for p.d.o. . Bug#663146: avfs: extfs doesn't work because there are no files in the expected place
Package: avfs Version: 1.0.0-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, as (I suppose) extfs files were moved to /usr/share according to the Debian policy, avfs should be told to look for it there, but not in /usr/lib. Otherwise, MC extfs support in AVFS is not present. The symptoms are: 1) AVFS-based programs (avfsd, worker) cannot use MC extfs (they return no such file or directory when one is trying to open files which should be supported, like 7-Zip archives) 2) There are messages in syslog, like this: avfs[$pid]: Could not open extfs config file /usr/lib/avfs/extfs/extfs.ini: No such file or directory As we can see, avfs-1.0.0/modules/extfs.c: --- cut here: start --- static int extfs_init(struct vmodule *module) { ... extfs_dir = av_get_config(moduledir); extfs_dir = av_stradd(extfs_dir, /extfs, NULL); extfs_conf = av_stradd(NULL, extfs_dir, /extfs.ini, NULL); fd = open(extfs_conf, O_RDONLY); if(fd == -1) { res = -errno; av_log(AVLOG_WARNING, Could not open extfs config file %s: %s, extfs_conf, strerror(errno)); av_free(extfs_conf); av_free(extfs_dir); return res; } --- cut here: end --- what does av_get_config() do? avfs-1.0.0/src/sysdeps.c: --- cut here: start --- char *av_get_config(const char *param) { ... if(strcmp(param, moduledir) == 0) val = MODULE_DIR; --- cut here: end --- and after the avfs ./configure we can find the MODULE_DIR definition: ../src/info.h:#define MODULE_DIR /usr/lib/avfs Also, ${moduledir} is defined at ./configure-time, but there is no ../configure option for it: ../configure:moduledir='${libdir}/avfs' (line 24297) so I suggest the following patch to ./configure: --- cut here: start --- --- avfs-1.0.0.orig/configure +++ avfs-1.0.0/configure @@ -24294,7 +24294,7 @@ LIBS=$LIBS -pthread fi -moduledir='${libdir}/avfs' +moduledir='${datarootdir}/avfs' --- cut here: end --- After applying it the following lines in debian/rules were unneeded: --- cut here: start --- # Move the scripts to /usr/share mv $(CURDIR)/debian/avfs/usr/lib/avfs $(CURDIR)/debian/avfs/usr/share --- cut here: end --- When I installed the AVFS version built with these patches, `worker` became able to open 7-Zip archives via MC extfs #u7z module. On Tue, 28 Feb 2012 07:18:22 Stephen Kitt wrote: I'm not sure it's worth trying to continue packaging every single version at this stage; as I see it the sensible thing to do would be to package the various Wine 1.2 releases (I've done the packaging work already, and all the releases are similar), then move to version 1.4, which involves: * packaging wine-gecko 1.1 (because that's the latest version we can build with the tools currently available in the Debian archives) * packaging Wine 1.3.13, 1.3.14 or 1.3.15 (because those are the only versions still using wine-gecko 1.1 while also providing the tools required to package later versions of wine-gecko) * packaging wine-gecko 1.4 (which also needs some updates to mingw-w64, which I'll take care of) * packaging Wine 1.4. I think this is a very good idea. I've managed to get rid of most lintian warnings on the 1.1.37 package, but I feel a little bit like I'm wasting my time if you've already packaged the 1.2 series.. you also seem to have a much better handle than I do on what's required to catch up to upstream. On the contrary, it's not a waste of time, I reckon most of the lintian warnings also apply to the 1.2 packages... Feel free to check out the .dscs and related files on http://www.sk2.org/wine/ and see what you think. The packages are quite old and I haven't touched them in a while - in fact they don't even use the wine-gecko package which landed in Debian! I've started work on the two wine-gecko packages, but I probably won't have time to do much on them before the end of March. wine-gecko 1.1 doesn't need much, it only needs a couple of patches from the 1.0 package to build with current mingw-w64 so the main obstacle is the usual licensing review. wine-gecko 1.4 is a bit more complicated. I haven't started looking at all the changes required for the Wine packages. What exactly does the licensing review involve? I would be happy to assist! Basically, it involves retrieving the upstream source code, filtering it (see the get-orig-source rule in debian/rules in the current wine-gecko package in Debian main), then checking that debian/copyright still describes the result. For version 1.1 a reasonable approach could be to simply diff wine-gecko-1.0 to wine-gecko-1.1, looking for changed copyright statements. For version 1.4 I imagine there are far more changes to account for. It's also useful to look at the firefox package in Debian; I believe wine-gecko 1.4 is based on Firefox 8. Ove packaged wine-gecko as wine-gecko-unstable, rather than my wine-gecko-1.0.0 approach; I prefer the latter since wine-gecko versions aren't associated with a specific branch (stable v. unstable). For instance, packaging Wine 1.2 using the existing wine-gecko package means having wine (-stable) depending on libwine-gecko-unstable! Packaging Wine 1.4 will require changes to the current packages; in particular, some of the sound driver packages have been made obsolete. There's also the issue of packaging 32- and 64-bit Wine on amd64, and the availability of Wine on ARM now... Regards, Stephen signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Bug#662924: [Pkg-fonts-devel] Bug#662924: Bug#662924: ttf-freefont: What is Untitled1.ttf?
Hi Khaled, I agree as to a preference of cubic over quadratic splines, and also, the conversion from cubic to quadratic splines loses information. Both TrueType and OpenType are wrapper formats, that can contain either cubic (Type1) or quadratic (TrueType) contours. However some technologies (afaik) such as TrueType instructions, only apply to quadratic contours. I know from past experiments that in some environments, this can make a big difference in display quality. Either works well with current free-sofware technology. I'm now in the process of testing Vista (again) and Windows 7, in which it's much harder to get good quality. For the future, I think only OpenType is moving forward though. I'm keeping TrueType primarily for older systems. Converting cubic splines to quadratic ones, for TrueType, in not a lossless conversion[1] and thus, IMO, should be avoided if possible. Bug#663155: lintian: translation support of tag descriptions
Package: lintian Version: 2.5.5 Hi, I have spent a few hours looking at using po4a to allow tag descriptions to be localized[0]. The results are available in the tag-info-l10n branch in my personal git repository[1]. po4a does not yet have proper support for Debian control files, but hopefully it will get that with the next upload (related bug #663148). For now, I use an ad-hoc po4a plugin to parse the desc files. I suspect my ad-hoc plugin produces different po-files than the future dctrl parser in po4a will. Therefore, I do not think we should accept translations/merge the branch just yet. :) Only the tag descriptions are translated. The po files in the branch include the Tag-field, but mainly because A) I rely the Tag-field for merging the translation with the (remaining) tag data and B) I was too lazy to do the relevant transformations in my prototype. I only added support for translations in lintian-info (read: I was lazy). It can be tested by using lintian-info with the new --lang argument: $ LINTIAN_ROOT=. frontend/lintian-info -t \ package-depends-on-lower-priority-package [... std text ...] N: Lintian's kapacitet. Servicen depcheck gøre dette. [...] Note that I only translated 3 or so strings (out of 961), so you will want to pick one of those 3 tags for the test. :) The translated desc is not included in the branch, but can be generated by running: $ debian/rules update-po It will give a lot of discard $file since most of them are below po4a's (or gettext's?) = 80% translated treshold. ~Niels [0] http://lists.debian.org/debian-lint-maint/2010/08/msg00012.html [1] http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=users/nthykier/lintian.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/tag-info-l10n -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#659541: Please enable autobuild for upx-nrv
Hi, Robert Luberda rob...@debian.org writes: Ansgar Burchardt wrote: The source for upx itself is provided on the upstream website (and upx-ucl package is built from it), source for NRV is not available. http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#UnchangedJustBinary The source for upx is distributed in upx-ucl source package, isn't this enough? There's nothing that guarantees the versions of both packages stay in sync or upx-ucl could get removed while upx-nrv stays in the archive, so this is no good solution (also I did not even see it mentioned in the upx-nrv source package). Sure, but nobody else can redistribute the resulting binaries unless they do get special permission (the GPL doesn't allow this, see above). Quoting http://upx.sourceforge.net: All Rights Reserved. [1] http://upx.sourceforge.net/upx-license.html there were some discussions regarding upx licensing in the past. It seems however all of them refer to the ucl version. I cannot find any clues if the conclusions are applicable to the nrv version or not, but there is one thing I'm pretty sure - the upx license hasn't changed at all since upx-nrv was allowed into Debian 12 years ago. I cannot understand why we still have issue with it, and moreover I have no idea how to solve the issue once and forever. I did not find anything with a quick search either, but it might well be that nobody noticed in the last decade. In any case the problem could be solved if upstream a, makes available headers and object files for nrv and adds an exception to the UPX license to link against nrv and distribute the resulting binaries similar to exceptions that allow linking GPL code with other GPL-incompatible libraries such as OpenSSL, or b, releases the binaries for upx-nrv under a license that allows distribution w/o providing corresponding source code (or other problematic requirements). It might also need to allow distributing the modified binaries obtained by running upx -d in debian/rules as well. Of course the license for nrv must also allow this. Package: texlive-binaries Version: 2009-12 Severity: normal File: /usr/share/man/man1/tex.1.gz Dear Maintainer, I'm seeing a number of references to The TeX for nroffbook in the tex(1) manpage. It took me a while, but I eventually realized that the for nroff part was probably intended as a comment. It appears that the offending *roff code is: , | .ie t .ds OX \fIT\v'+0.25m'E\v'-0.25m'X\fP for troff | .el .ds OX TeX for nroff ` and that a similar problem would occur in troff mode (but with with for troff instead of for nroff). Bug#662780: Similar issues with Lexmark Optra N PostScript printer
I'm seeing similar things with my Lexmark Optra N PS printer. However, if I attempt to print plain postscript files, things work just fine. I also discovered that the ghostscript-supplied pdf2ps command produces postscript files which generate a blank page when printed, while they display fine using gs. Thus I suspect that this problem may actually have more to do with ghostscript that cups. poppler-utils (xpdf) supplied pdftops produces printable postscript. /Anders -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Spot on, that commit changed it. What exactly is broken on the server? Upstream would like to know :) If I recall and understand correctly: before, GnuTLS clients sent the latest TLS version it supported in the record layer version of the client hello. This caused some problems with SSL3-only servers. But after 2.12.0 it sent the SSL3 record version even when it supports higher versions. This allows SSL3-only-and-TLS-intolerant servers to talk to GnuTLS but still allow TLS-conforming servers to upgrade to more recent TLS versions. Sadly, it seems the server you hit rejects GnuTLS here, probably because it is confused by seeing a SSL3 record version when there is support for higher TLS versions. This is more uncommon than SSL3-only-and-TLS-intolerant servers, that's why the default was changed. This came up a long time ago and was discussed then, and I may be recalling things incorrectly. RFC 5246 discuss this: Earlier versions of the TLS specification were not fully clear on what the record layer version number (TLSPlaintext.version) should contain when sending ClientHello (i.e., before it is known which version of the protocol will be employed). Thus, TLS servers compliant with this specification MUST accept any value {03,XX} as the record layer version number for ClientHello. TLS clients that wish to negotiate with older servers MAY send any value {03,XX} as the record layer version number. Typical values would be {03,00}, the lowest version number supported by the client, and the value of ClientHello.client_version. No single value will guarantee interoperability with all old servers, but this is a complex topic beyond the scope of this document. /Simon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#581631: please build cfdisk with ncurses, not libslang
* Michael Tokarev [2010-05-14 17:06 +0400]: It's been over 12 years already since cfdisk is built against libslang. It can be built either againt libncurses or libslang. The interface it shows is basically the same. Since September ncurses is built with --with-termlib. As result of this, only two programs (both part of util-linux) that depend on libncurses* or libslang* remain in essential: * cfdisk (see quote above) depends on libslang.so.2. * pg (similar to more, but origin is SysV and not BSD) depends on libncurses.so.5. The suggested switch of cfdisk to libslang had been done 2.17.2-3 but reverted later due to the lack of a ncurses udeb. Upstream's build system does not offer to build two versions of cfdisk, one with slang and one with ncurses, to be address this problem. I wrote a patch to add such an option against Debian's 2.20.1-4 (attached), but maintaining a diff against upstreams build system is not reasonable and indeed it does not apply cleanly against upstream's HEAD. If I get upstream to accept a patch that enables optionally building a cfdisk against slang and an other one against ncurses, would you use this feature and thus remove libslang2 from essential (it could also be removed from base if this happens)? libncurses5 could also be removed essential, if cfdisk will use ncurses in future, this would result in two steps: * move pg to, for example, bsdmainutils. bsdmainutils depends on libncurses5 anyway and pg is marked as LEGACY by POSIX since 1997. more can be used instead of pg, so I see no need for it to stay in essential. * build a new package cfdisk with priority required. util-linux would initially depend on it to ensure that it is installed whilst dist-upgrading. After the releasing Wheezy, the dependency could be made a recommendation, but the priority of the new package cfdisk should in my opinion not be changed. The reason for linking cfdisk against ncurses even if it cfdisk would not be in essential anymore is that libslang2 is rarely used but libncurses is used by many packages. Given that I am able to convince bsdmainutils' maintainer to move pg to bsdmainutils, would you drop it from util-linux? What do you think about the suggested new package cfdisk? I agree it's probably better to have its own package. I also have an ITP for transmission-remote-gtk, which is in a similar situation. That being said: I haven't checked the source, but I'm a bit curious about its use of transmission-remote. Does it depend on specific input/output formats? Did upstream at some point declare a stable API for using transmission-remote in scripts? I'm just worried this might be a small nightmare to maintain in the long run... I've been talking to upstream (t-r-cli) and the output appears to be stable between RPC versions. RPC versions don't seem to change that often in transmission, so I don't think it should be too big a deal. When it does change, support for the new RPC is added reasonably quickly. I guess an alternative would be to use transmissionrpc as a python interface to the JSON service. Bug#663164: linux-image-3.2.0-1-amd64: unable to mount a filesystem on a known working sata drive in an external usb enclosure.
Package: linux-2.6 Version: 3.2.6-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, i am unable to mount a filesystem on a known working sata drive in an external usb enclosure. enclosure is newegg item # N82E16817392032. this is the second enclosure that i've tried, as i RMA'd the first one thinking it was just defective. the first one exhibited the same behavior. i can make a partition label and filesystem using parted (i also tried with fdisk and mkfs.ext4), but i cannot mount filesystem. i have tried both gpt and msdos partition layouts, with several different filesystems, but no luck. xfce does not show the drive when plugged in, nor can i manually mount the disk. i can list the disk layout with parted or fdisk though. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 3.2.0-1-amd64 (Debian 3.2.6-1) (b...@decadent.org.uk) (gcc version 4.6.2 (Debian 4.6.2-14) ) #1 SMP Fri Feb 17 05:17:36 UTC 2012 ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-1-amd64 root=UUID=4420abab-3a68-4a9c-9f6b-8628005276c5 ro quiet ** Tainted: PO (4097) * Proprietary module has been loaded. * Out-of-tree module has been loaded. ** Kernel log: [ 83.560958] scsi2 : usb-storage 1-3:1.0 [ 83.584589] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: BAR 0: set to [mem 0x9024a400-0x9024a4ff] (PCI address [0x9024a400-0x9024a4ff]) [ 83.584744] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: restoring config space at offset 0x1 (was 0x2b0, writing 0x2b00013) [ 83.584992] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: PME# disabled [ 83.585020] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: PCI INT B - GSI 17 (level, low) - IRQ 17 [ 84.562987] scsi 2:0:0:0: Direct-AccessMass Storage Device PQ: 0 ANSI: 0 [ 84.568397] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] 488397166 512-byte logical blocks: (250 GB/232 GiB) [ 84.569190] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Write Protect is off [ 84.569208] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Mode Sense: 03 00 00 00 [ 84.569949] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] No Caching mode page present [ 84.569962] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 84.582615] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] No Caching mode page present [ 84.582633] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 84.597576] sdb: sdb1 [ 84.603530] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] No Caching mode page present [ 84.603550] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 84.603562] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Attached SCSI disk [ 87.840300] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: PCI INT B disabled [ 87.840372] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: PME# enabled [ 103.920236] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 271.952323] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 321.936632] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 348.944653] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 371.920287] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 411.920231] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 435.952371] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 533.936471] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 555.952493] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 700.944314] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 704.352642] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 723.920649] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 746.944509] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 773.936124] usb 1-3: reset high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci_hcd [ 838.115182] usb 1-3: USB disconnect, device number 3 [ 844.124630] usb 1-3: new high-speed USB device number 4 using ehci_hcd [ 844.258439] usb 1-3: New USB device found, idVendor=14cd, idProduct=6116 [ 844.258454] usb 1-3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=3, SerialNumber=2 [ 844.258464] usb 1-3: Product: USB Mass Storage Device [ 844.258472] usb 1-3: Manufacturer: Generic [ 844.258480] usb 1-3: SerialNumber: 116AC2101219 [ 844.260415] scsi3 : usb-storage 1-3:1.0 [ 844.284086] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: BAR 0: set to [mem 0x9024a400-0x9024a4ff] (PCI address [0x9024a400-0x9024a4ff]) [ 844.284242] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: restoring config space at offset 0x1 (was 0x2b0, writing 0x2b00013) [ 844.284491] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: PME# disabled [ 844.284521] ehci_hcd :00:13.2: PCI INT B - GSI 17 (level, low) - IRQ 17 [ 845.262546] scsi 3:0:0:0: Direct-AccessMass Storage Device PQ: 0 ANSI: 0 [ 845.267900] sd 3:0:0:0: [sdb] 488397166 512-byte logical blocks: (250 GB/232 GiB) [ 845.269777] sd 3:0:0:0: [sdb] Write Protect is off [ 845.269794] sd 3:0:0:0: [sdb] Mode Sense: 03 00 00 00 [ 845.270449] sd 3:0:0:0: [sdb] No Caching mode page present [ 845.270463] sd 3:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 845.274136] sd 3:0:0:0: [sdb] No Caching mode page present [ 845.274154] sd 3:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 845.331930] sdb: sdb1 [ 845.335055] sd 3:0:0:0: [sdb] No Caching mode page present [ 845.335075] sd 3:0:0:0:
