[Bug 774827] Re: There seems to be no way to scroll vnc windows which are larger than the viewer screen size
I've discovered that returning to windowed mode from the fullscreen scaled mode made a 2880x1800 window and that by holding down alt and clicking, I could drag it around to have different parts of this large window covering the entire screen. However, when I tried to make it smaller by grabbing the bottom right corner and dragging something went haywire with X and/or gnome. [Bug 775071] [NEW] UI not properly redrawing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox Ubuntu 11.04, Rhythmbox 0.13.3-0ubuntu5 The attached picture describes what is happening better than I can explain it. The expected result is that the application realigns its top border with the menu bar. This occurs after the application has been minimized and then redisplayed from the launcher. Just a newbie question, looking at the upstream bug, it says that this issue is caused by a bug in gtksourceview, and not in this application. [Bug 775153] Re: gnome-panel segfaults after upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04
I think Talika is the problem. I had Maverick on my laptop and in a Virtualbox VM on an XP host. I had Talika on the laptop, but DockBarX on the VM. Updated both to Natty. The VM went smooth, but I had no panels on the laptop and the mouse cursor constantly went back and forth between the arrow cursor and the circular hourglass cursor. It wasn't until I reset the gnome panel settings via terminal before everything finally went back to normal. (I referenced this site: http://www.watchingthenet.com/restore-panels-in-ubuntu-back-to-their- default-settings.html ). After I got my panels back, I tried to reinstall Talika since the Webupd8 PPA updated Talika for Natty. It seemed to install fine, but it won't show up in the available list of applets when I try to add it to the panel. Something is definitely up with Talika and 11.04, but I haven't had time to explore a solution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/775153 Title: gnome-panel segfaults after upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 250540] Re: gedit cannot save to sftp location
Looking at the upstream bug, it appears that this is really a bug in package gvfs. Looking at the change made upstream on that package, and comparing with the package gvfs that was released with natty, it appears that this change has already been made. Beside that, I repeat the steps outlined to reproduce the bug, and gedit no longer have this problem, it allows me to save files in directories owned by root, and also when the owner of the file is another user. But should be done to close this bug? Can anyone confirm if it has been fixed. I get this behavior consistently also with Kingston USB drives. However, one wrinkle not reported above is that the USB drive is initially mounted at USB 2.0 speed as expected, but after the first Safely Remove Drive it is always remounted at USB 1.1 speed only. My Kingston drive uses different colored LEDs to report the different connection speeds (red for USB 1.1, blue for USB 2.0). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/624755 Title: to remove a pen drive have to use safely remove drive twice -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
