Hello Pedro,
I had to try a lot of times since apparently the process changed since
the last time I checked this, but I was able to login at last and it's
still weekend!

So, the first steps on your side, since the site is hosted on
SourceForge, would be:

- Get a SourceForge account (and you probably already have one)
- Follow this guide
https://sourceforge.net/p/forge/documentation/SSH%20Keys/ to create and
upload your SSH key
- Test that the shell works by checking whether "ssh -t
your_user_n...@shell.sourceforge.net create" gives you a shell; then you
can simply type "exit" and logout as you won't have any projects
associated to you.

I'm assuming lazy consensus on giving you permissions on the Extensions
site (not the site itself, actually, but the shell access). You should
post here your SourceForge username for you to be added.

Once we are ready with permissions we can then get into details of how
the feed works.

Regards,
  Andrea.

Only the Blue Orb icon (or Logo) is part of the trademark. Icons for Writer or
any other modules as well as icons for the toolbars are not included in the
trademark and can be changed.

This is not a restriction to our freedom but a way to guarantee that even
though anyone can use the freely available source code, they can not
commercialize or offer a product named OpenOffice or use the same Logo
In any case it is not Apache that restricts our freedom ;)

Thank you for volunteering to contribute! I hope these small legal quirks do
not demotivate you!

For clarification: The decision is made on this list. And we decide
together. That is the way.

The Apache Foundation is the body that enables us and stewards this project.

I recommend to start of with one icon. And then discuss that. This will
give us an impression on what your taste and skill is and you will see
the taste on the existing participants.

We have to figure a community solution that works for all involved.

I know the licenses but I don't understand why I couldn't offer Apache a
new logo.

The Apache OpenOffice Logo is part of our trademark. Trademarks are
legal documents, that provide us rights if we clash with other
companies. That are not our rules. This are the rules Companies play by.
Since a lot of people have interest in the market name OpenOffice, Logo
is nothing we can easily change. I hope you understand that this is a
difficult topic, and has nothing to do with your proposal or person. So
lets see if we can agree on the other things first. If a trademark is
running out we can have a discussion on the logo for sure. This will
happen in some years.

All the best

The commit changes the logic that selects whether "mac.java.path"
shall be set to "mac.oracle.java.path" or "mac.apple.java.path".

Apparently, there are two ``families'' of JDK's under macOS, and each
family keeps its base classes in a different path.

This edit only affects building under macOS.

Do you suggest that an explanation like the above shall be integrated
into the file as a comment?

The OpenOffice Orb is a trademark. It is unlikely that it will be

No problem, I just want to have the branches in sync as much as possible.

We once had a Bugzilla issue for AOO42X that was fixed long ago on trunk
but was not backported.
Took me some time to realize that.

The fix for "Azul" is just for building?

I ask, because on Windows the Azul JDK is already detected. But it is
listed as "OpenJDK" like the one from Adoptium. Maybe we can make that
list a bit more clear?

I think so. This commit had to be adjusted because AOO42X and trunk do
not seem to support Java 1.7, whereas AOO41X did.

I merged the other one about the `tmp' folder.

It was discussed that we at least need an additional icon set for "dark

Maybe Corentin can do it, but I haven't seen any of his work yet.
