Well, I care about the mapper who is interested in an agreed final result and doesn't want to spend his time reading the opinion of individual persons. Just for this there's a talk page for each wiki page. When interested you can subscribe to the talk page separately. If the talk page isn't enough additional pages can be easily created. Imho it's not only bad behavior to change a wiki page 19 times on the same day it's harming OSM. [josm-dev] mappaint.nameOrder=name:en name doesn't work anymore
I used the JOSM setting mappaint.nameOrder=name:en name to get the English name if available otherwise the local Thai name e.g. for this area http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=16.36062 http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=16.36062lon=102.80124zoom=14 lon=102.80124zoom=14 Unfortunately this seems not to work anymore. [OSM-dev] JOSM GPX export doesn't export the names of nodes
JOSM GPX export converts the name of the way to name of the track but not the names of the nodes to names of the trackpoints. But when I increase the zoom level in JOSM Imagery I get the console message current zoom lvl (18) couldnt be increased. MaxZoomLvl (18) reached. I've appended more details. Thanks for your immediate help. Problem solved. And also thanks a lot for this great tool. In the Settings tab max zoom is set to 25. In the Providers tab the field zoom was empty for all providers. I entered 20 for osm-then, closed settings with OK and restarted JOSM to be sure, it works now.
