THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY. The following task has a new comment added: FS#258 - [cleanup 1p2c] Remove useTwoPointGradients User who did this - Bernd Flemisch (bernd) -- I checked all useTwoPointGradient functions in stable and devel. They all return false, apart from appl/co2/sleipner and appl/co2/snohvit. There, a 2p model is used and therefore the functions are not called. Since this shows that the presence of that function is misleading and we apparently don't have a use case where the decision between TPFA and MPFA is a local one, I also would like to get rid of the 1p2c specific functionality. The decision for TPFA can me made for both robustness and efficiency. THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY. The following task has a new comment added: FS#243 - Improve usage of modularity in decoupled models User who did this - Timo Koch (timokoch) -- I implemented a transport model in implicit which can be run with a theta time stepping scheme with a few modifications in the implicit/cc/box-localresidual. The variable time stepping scheme would bring decoupled and implicit model closer together. I resolved the second question by introducing a class FluxParams (analoguously to SpatialParams) where one can specify a velocity field and reference pressure (for isobaric Fluidsystem dependent parameters like density and viscosity). The idea is that the class could also be constructed with a pressure field and/or velocity field depending if we obtained it using Darcy or Stokes models. -- More information can be found at the following URL: http://www.dumux.org/flyspray/index.php?do=detailstask_id=243#comment549 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system. THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY. The following task has a new comment added: FS#250 - Folder structure User who did this - Alexander Kissinger (alexk) -- I also think this is an important discussion. I like option 2 the best because if I were looking for example for a model 1p porousmediaflow I can easily find that there are actually two choices fullycoupled and decoupled. For the cases where there is only a fullycoupled model I still prefer the structure: |---porousmedia | |---1p | | |---fullycoupled This has the advantage that the user immediately seed what implementations are available. Further: - I like the term porousmediaflow better than porousmedia - and I dont like the term implicit since the decoulped models are also partly implicit, fullycoupled is a better term in my opinion. I think the term implicit is very misleading. -- More information can be found at the following URL: http://www.dumux.org/flyspray/index.php?do=detailstask_id=250#comment511 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system. THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY. The following task has a new comment added: FS#237 - Adaptivity broken with Dune-ALUGrid User who did this - Bernd Flemisch (bernd) -- Unfortunately, the BackupRestoreFacility does not work with ALUGrid 1.52. At least not in an obvious way due to the use of an obscure macro ALUGRID_CONSTRUCTION_WITH_STREAMS. One would have to define this macro in order to use the BackupRestoreFacility, but defining it yields a compilation error. The BackupRestoreFacility does work with dune-alugrid, but not in combination with the way we handle things in Dumux. While the old readGrid method kept the grid in its place and changed its contents, the new restore method creates an entirely new grid. Before, the const GridView that we use to store the GridView became aware of the grid change. Now, it doesn't and it is impossible to assign a new object due to the const. We will have to think a bit more how to handle this in the future. -- More information can be found at the following URL: http://www.dumux.org/flyspray/index.php?do=detailstask_id=237#comment485 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system. All details can be found at dumux/test/multidomain/README The next step we need to do: - find and fix / work around the segmentatio fault with GCC 4.7 and newer - fix usage of ALUGrid, maybe this helps - try different compiler flags - update the revision from Multidomain and PDELab and fix problems as they occur. THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY. The following task has a new comment added: FS#184 - Naming conventions User who did this - Katherina Baber (kathinka) -- I had a look at the list of Tianyuan in dumux-devel/doc/naminglist/naming_conventions.ods. The first sheet contains the names he has already changed to the names we agreed upon and the according revision numbers. There are still a couple that need to be checked again (marked by red questionmarks). The second sheet contains names which Tianyuan found not to be consistent with our conventions. These are mainly indices and typedefs of matrices as well as occurrences of DimVector. This list is probably not complete. The names in the second sheet need to be discussed and the name to be should be added to the first sheet which collects our naming conventions. Then, a HiWi can implement these name changes. -- More information can be found at the following URL: http://www.dumux.org/flyspray/index.php?do=detailstask_id=184#comment452 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system. THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY. The following task has a new comment added: FS#211 - Convenience functions should always be used in fluxVars User who did this - Nicolas Schwenck (Nicolas) -- someone has to look at the mpnc, freeflow and multidomain models (mpnc: I have no clue about this; ff and md: because they do not compile at all for me) as well as geomechanics/el1p2c/el1p2clocalresidual.hh, io/plotoverline2d.hh, co2/co2model.hh The rest is implemented in r12652 and r12653. Still undecided is what happens with implicitdarcyfluxvariables and implicitforchheimerfluxvariables. They are used for 1p and 2p,2p2c etc. but not for 1p2c. The fact that they are also used in 1p makes it impossible to simply delete change the call from volvars.fluidstate().pressure(phaseIdx) to something without fluidstate because the phaseIdx argument has to be there for more than one phase but is omitted in the 1p case. -- More information can be found at the following URL: http://www.dumux.org/flyspray/index.php?do=detailstask_id=211#comment436 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system.
