Yes, that's what Bhairitu and I were discussing. My point was that the
new-emails story was not your traditional news dump, for several reasons that I
explained to Bhairitu at some length.

a Friday as the "great unwashed" won't be paying attention.

Actually, any of the "great unwashed" who watched television, listened to the
radio, or read a newspaper or a Web site on Friday would have found out about
Comey's ratf**k, because it made headlines everywhere.

And if Bhairitu had been paying attention, he'd know that Comey didn't find
out about the emails until he was briefed on Thursday--hence the announcement
the very next day. Comey wanted to get the news out as soon as possible so it
would have the maximum negative effect on Clinton's campaign--including, of
course, dominating all the Sunday talk shows ("Meet the Press," etc.).

Did Barry draw the cartoon? This is what he accuses people of. He did
the other day and I got a good laugh out of it. Like Judy he doesn't
like competition from other alpha people (psst! there are plenty of
alpha people here).

Now tell me where did I say Trump would win? I said that there have
been political analysts not of any persuasion for months discussing
Trump's popularity. They have also discussed why people dislike Hillary
(including people voting for her). I would also say that between Trump
and Sanders the latter would have won if the campaign could overcome a
supposed "stigma" of what Social Democracy means (hint: not communism).
Also Trump supporters would have probably voted Sanders because of
Trumps crudeness and that Bernie stands for a lot of the same issues as
the Donald.

Of course it didn't miss my attention that the new Comey stuff came out
yesterday, a Friday. Always known that when bad news is to be released
do it on a Friday as the "great unwashed" won't be paying attention.

Yes, at the same time HRC is elected to her first term. This back and forth
speculation on the election outcome is absurd, only generating more frustration
and empty hopes for the trump supporters.

Even those hoping for an antisocial and ego-trippy 'reset', as you are, will be
sorely disappointed. This country is moving forward according to law, and
emerging culture. The decaying world of the old white guys, the failed racists
and sexists, is kaput.

But please feel free to continue ranting and raving for your fantasy, until
November 9th. After that, you will just sound like yesterday's news.

A few facts not available on Drudge:

--The FBI hasn't read the emails yet. They have to get a court order first. So
they have no idea what's in them.

--The investigation that was completed in July has not been "reopened."

--The emails have nothing to do with Wikileaks or the Russian hackers.

--According to a senior law enforcement official, there are no indications
that these emails were withheld by Clinton, her campaign, or the State
Department.

--There are apparently no emails *from* Clinton; they're from Huma Abedin *to*
Clinton.

2016-10-29 Thread authfri...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
Again FWIW, Maher gets a couple of facts wrong. The Abedin and Weiner emails
weren't "intermingled"; they were in separate accounts on the same laptop.
(Abedin's emails were just a backup.) And as I just noted in another post,
apparently none of them are Clinton's emails.

 Still funny...!

So, during Friday’s edition of HBO’s Real Time, host Bill Maher
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/07/14/bill-maher-uncut-roger-ailes-absolutely-looks-like-a-pig-to-me.html
gave his unique take on the latest development in Hillary’s Emailgate.

“I think it is rather appropriate that this election is so close to Halloween,
because what happens in every scary movie? You think you killed the monster—you
killed him ten times—and then a tiny, orange hand comes out of the grave.
Believe me: for Hillary, tonight was Nightmare on Email Street,” he quipped
during his monologue.

Maher then gave some background on how the hell Anthony Weiner (alias: Carlos
Danger), a frequent panelist on his Real Time program, could be playing such a
consequential role in this election.

“Anthony Weiner is under investigation for sexting with a underage girl across
state lines, so the FBI seized all his computers. He is married—or was
married—to Huma Abedin, who is Hillary Clinton’s aide, and they were using the
same computer,” said Maher. “Which begs my first question: Why is Huma using
Anthony’s computer? If there’s one thing she didn’t want to go near, it would
be his computer. So… Hillary’s emails are intermingled with Anthony Weiner’s
sexting? No wonder she had her server wiped! I’d have had it boiled.”

He continued: “This is the world we live in now: Hillary Clinton’s aide’s
estranged husband is a freak, so we get to read Hillary Clinton’s emails. I
wish Hillary would send a text to Donald Trump. Maybe then we would get to see
his taxes.”

It is genuinely hard for me to believe that there are people out there who

from other sources.

When the Clinton haters--Trump and his minions and Republicans like Ryan and
Chaffetz--claim the FBI must have found sensational emails proving Clinton's
guilt or they wouldn't have made this announcement so close to the election,
they are not telling the truth.
