He was able to give them a major infusion of shakti from the other side. I remember John Gray telling me, when he was still very devoted to MMY, that he looked forward to MMY’s death for this reason. This is what MMY said in Hotel Samoa in Majorca, fall of 1971, Johnny may have been there. He told us that when a great saint dies, leaves the body, that it *thrills the atmosphere* and the society or community where that saint lived gains great benefits. He said that in certain places it became dangerous for saints to live because the population knew this and would kill anyone suspected of being a great soul for that very purpose. I don't recall of M indicated this in that same lecture or if I heard it else where, that disciples of great saints often get enlightened when their master drops the body. So, if you have been regular all these years and have the opportunity to go to the course, My advise would be to GO! __._,_.___ To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!' I had travelled to TTC by plane and then a 4 hour train ride from Zurich to Murren, Switzerland. I had been up about 30 hours and when I got to the hotel I was told that MMY was there. They gave me a room on the third floor and I went right to sleep. But I woke up in the middle of the night (2am?) and had to pee. Since I was in the low rent district of hotel rooms, I went off to search for what I learned later (this was my first trip to Europe and didn't know at that point) that a WC was a water closet or toilet. So I kept walking. And I walked past a room where I heard MMY's voice. At first I thought it was a tape but then I realized there was another quality to it. I stopped and listened. And the only thing I can think of to describe the experience is the word host...as in host of angels or host of celestial beings. Because his voice took on a quality I have neve before or after experienced: it was out of time and space, yet had a visual and concrete quality to it as well as audio. And surrounding the sounds of his voice were thousands of undulating beings like fireflies around the flames of a fire. And these beings were totally subservient to the flames they surrounded while at the same time worshipping them...but they weren't flames but the syllables of words of his voice. And it all appeared very certain and mechanical at the same time. I don't know how long I stood there but I finally turned around and left because I was afraid of being caught eavesdropping...and I was in my underwear! Great story! It's interesting how some people have the experience of infinity with MMY and some don't. I was initiated by MMY in some subtle realm when I was 18 and on my SCI course a few days before he came physically. I was having a regular dream and suddenly everything went blank and a woman leaned in towards me and said, Peter? Her voice focused my attention and suddenly MMY walks in from the left with a stern expression carrying a little square, golden bowl of oil. He stopped in front of me and with a little spoon he splashed oil on my ajna chakra, then my heart chakra and then right above my pubic bone. With the last splash a huge surge of energy blasted up my spine and I woke-up, jerking upright in bed with my body humming with this incredible energy. A few days later I saw him in person and blasted out of my boots! __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! I think they DO care. I think they care very much and have never stopped caring. I care. But like many I am disillusioned. I'll give two reasons. The first is one that applies, I believe, almost universally, to those teachers that care but no longer will run off to, say, an Invincibility Course when MMY calls for it. The second reason will be more personal and one that applies more specifically to me although there is, I believe, a significant demographic of this mindset as well: 1) THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF factor. It's hard to get excited about becoming a recert or coming to the Invincibility Course when every few months for virtually the past 30 years MMY comes out with THE NEXT GREAT THING (as I think Barry once called it). Yawn. I mean, why should I disrupt my life once again -- as I've done several times in my life -- because of an urgent call from MMY when I know that once HE loses interest in it that his attention will get diverted in a few months to something else? And we all know that this WILL happen. 2) Betrayal. I strongly feel that MMY has betrayed some very sacred tenets of the Movement. I won't bore you all by going into them because I've done so countless times on this forum. But I am not predisposed to go off to some course once again when he has said and done things that go against the very core of the principles upon which I joined the TMO in the first place. I would LOVE to be on the Invincibility Course...it would be sheer bliss...but I just can't knowing that I would possibly get very upset once I got there and had to be exposed to TMO bullshit. I'd feel trapped. So I know my limitations and stay away. Very well put, Shemp, especially the bit about 30+ years of the next big, I mean it this time, this is the real deal COURSE. I still enjoy standard issue TM but my days of running off to the latest, greatest course are looong gone. Gosh, I'd love to see a study of everyone who became a TM teacher and what category they fit into. How many were made teachers...10,000? Here are the categories I'd love to see for those 10,000 Doing TM regularly Doing TM but not regularly Diehard; will go on every course if resources allow Doing TM regularly, but cynical about the TMO etc. Should be closer to 15,000 or so. And I agree with you points above. I was 10,000 and something (I have the number written down somewhere ) and that was in 1976. JohnY What an enjoyable thread. This is why I joined FFL to have mature discussions about our involvement in the TMO and MMY and all the ramificatons of that involvement for so many years. By the way, I'm a doing TM regularly but cynical about the TMO To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!' For most of us MMY brought us to this spiritual dance and no matter how whacky he or his rajas get, we can't quite forget that contact with him. I first met MMY when I was 18 and his first glance at me blew me into oblivion. You can NEVER, EVER forget that and the realization of something so profound and so deeply significant in his glance. If you never experienced this these words will mean nothing to you other than deluded, mood-making nonsense. But if you have, then you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. When MMY first looked at me I realized in some inexplicable way I had come home after millions of years. And for that I will always bow down to what He is regardless of his craziness. __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
