[Flexradio] Weird behavior, maybe operator error?

2017-08-26 Thread Mark Lunday
V2.8.0.28

When I click on MON, there is no audio from the receiver. As soon as I toggle
MON off, the receiver audio comes back. This happens on all bands, all modes.
Happens to the headphone jack and the speaker jack.

I discovered this because I cannot hear the CW sidetone anymore when I transmit.

This is a new behavior.

Mark, Harmonics are integral multiples of your frequency so whatever was
happening it wasn't a harmonic of your signal.

How close was the reporting station to your QTH? Strange things happen when
someone experiences fundamental overload of their receiver. If able,
arrange to have a look at your emissions on a good spectrum analyzer. It
might not be something you are emitting but something created in his
receiver.

One time in the early 60's I was reported to the FCC as causing TVI. I had
a 2nd class licensee prepare a fact finding report in response to "The
Letter" from the FCC. I was putting out a very clean 3 Watts on the CB band
and the "ancient" TV I was interfering with had an IF with band width
covering the CB freqs. I was transmitting directly into one of the TV
receiver's IF circuits. Solution: Hey dude, get a more modern TV. End of
story.

[Flexradio] Question about TX harmonics

2016-11-24 Thread Mark Lunday
I was attempting to break through the pileup for 5H1WW on 80 CW the other
night. A ham emailed me the next morning and said he could hear a harmonic
of my CW signal 1.2 kHz down from my main.which unfortunately was right on
top of the DX station.

This is the first time someone has told me about this, but I think I read
somewhere about it happening to another ham on 160 meters.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? How did you resolve it? I was running
an amp at the time into an inverted L.

[Flexradio] Where did my waterfall go?

2016-08-13 Thread Mark Lunday
V2.7, flex 5000. First time in a couple of weeks, I fired up the rig today.
Decided to try out the waterfall, which I have not done in many moons. I
can't get any traces to show on the waterfall. I can see the signals
booming in on the Panadapter.

I thought it might be the level settings on the waterfall, but I varied
those from -50 to -150 and still I cannot see anything.

It's always something simple, right? I tried changing the Low Color to RED,
and I still only see solid black in the waterfall. Something is amiss.
Anyone else seen this before?

Mark, my 5K is on a 3 year old tower 'puter I custom built for SDR use.
It can keep up with the radio while simultaneously doing one or two software
installs with one or more anti-malware scans plus me surfing the web doing
searches but... Every once in a while at random when doing nothing but the
radio in receive mode with me not touching a thing the
2.7.2 session freezes. Click stop and start and all is good for several
seconds to months. I can't reproduce the problem at will and can't
correlate the problem to any settings or actions but since on average it
only happens at long intervals (months) I just click stop/start and try not
to worry about it. Later when I try to set up for remote ops this could be a
real problem as I didn't want to have to run something like Team Viewer so
as to be able to do the stop/start routine. Meanwhile, when siting at the
radio I can "burp" it and be back running in a second or two.

Good luck to you. If you figure it out or get any good suggestions from
other sources than here please share them here.

Upgraded to 2.7.2 and everything seems normal again.

Let the rig run overnight in listen-only mode, and discovered that it had
frozen overnight at some point. All appears normal with the PSDR display,
power is on, no error messages, but no signal coming through. I CLICK on
the stop button and then the start and everything works fine again.

I also noticed this on my X220 Lenovo laptop with 2.7.2, but I figured it
was a quirky laptop behavior because I have never seen it happen with the
desktop.

Desktop is a dual core machine with 4 GB of RAM, 8 years old.

Any ideas what might have changed with 2.7,2 that would cause the freezing
up?

Why not charge for PowerSDR updates, like SmartSDR? I have gotten a lot of

mature than SmartSDR, and I would rather do that than lose my shirt and have

Yes, I once had WSJT (JT-65A) working, but that was two computers ago. I've
even made one six meter ENE contact and been heard by several stations. With
W7GJ now at KH8, I'd like to try to work him. But, without WSJY, VAC and
Power SDR working together, there's no chance.

I do have VAC installed and the latest Released version of WSJT as well as
VSP manager. So, I don't need instructions on downloading and installing
same. The OLD Knowledge Center article that I printed out a year or two ago,
spends a lot of verbiage on downloading and installing these programs. It
talks about installing VAC into Power SDR Version 1.14.0. That's how old it
is.

One of things it says it to make sure that Flex 5000 Firewire device driver
is set to the same parameters and Safe Mode 1 is the operating mode. It
refers to another Knowledge Center article to explain how to do this.

Going to the Flex Website, I find no place to find Knowledge Center articles
anymore. Has the Knowledge Center been done away with? I did find a
so-called White Paper entitled

LEVERAGING SDR FOR BETTER DIGITAL MODE COMMUNICATIONS. But it is nothing
but a sales pitch for software defined radio and VAC. I don't need a sales
pitch. I'm already convinced re SDR and have been for years..

What I need is a good up-to-date step-by-step description of what parameters
to set into Power SDR, VAC and WSJT. At the moment, I'm getting an ERROR
message in WSJT saying Error in opening audio channels and some other
stuff that says it won't work.

I DID have the audio stream running normally an hour or so back, but I've
obviously messed it up now.

Frustrated,

[Flexradio] F3K fan causing S7 noise on 6 meters

2014-04-27 Thread Mark Lunday
F3K, SDR 2.7.2. Just noticed that when I stop transmitting, I see
positive-sine-wave noise shapes every 10 kHz, which disappear as soon as the
fan turns off (quickly after stopping transmit).

Anyone else seeing this on 6 meters around 54 MHz? Suggestions on how to
eliminate it? Thanks

[Flexradio] OK, I messed up, and I admit it

2014-03-18 Thread Mark Lunday
Was trying to use diversity receive on a split pileup on my Flex 5K with 2nd

So.how do I use both receivers (with Sync ON) in diversity mode and use the
mouse to click the transmit frequency for where the DX is listening? I
don't want to use the XIT.

I must be tired, because I just can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

[Flexradio] The problem has reurned: More info: First character getting cut off on CW transmit when using break-in

2013-10-18 Thread Mark Lunday
So I changed bands from 10 to 20 meters CW tonight, and the problem has
suddenly returned. All bands.

I can hear a loud clicking of a relay inside the 5000A, and I can tell it's
late to switch to transmit from the K5 logikeyer. And I am listening on
another rig and I can hear the first character being shortened.

Could there be a bad relay board in the CW circuit?

On the foot switch, is this what you use when trying break into a pileup?
90% of my QSO's are DX pileups. I use a Heil handswitch for SSB and I love

[Flexradio] RESOLVED: More info: First character getting cut off on CW transmit when using break-in

2013-10-13 Thread Mark Lunday
I started tinkering with the menus under SETUP-KEYER-OPTIONS

I noticed that 2-wire cable was NOT selected.

That's weird, I thought. I am using the K5 Logikey and it should be acting
like a regular key with the output (although the cable I am using is 3 pin).

So I clicked the 2-wire cable setting and BAM! Problem solved.

And now that I know how to fix the CW-X problem (increase the PTT delay or
add a space at the beginning), that is also fixed. Not sure why it cropped
up, but I know how to fix it, I am back in business.

I wish I could remember why I selected stereo cables for CW, I am using MX-3
computer switches to feed the K5 to several rigs, but now that I am 49 I
can't recall why I did this with those cables. Maybe I better start writing
things down.

Thanks to all who helped with suggestions. The foot switch is intriguing,
but I don't think it will work for me in DX pileups.

[Flexradio] More info: First character getting cut off on CW transmit when using break-in

2013-10-12 Thread Mark Lunday
Upgrade to 2.6.4 with factory defaults did not fix the problem. I am seeing
the truncation of the first character regardless of whether I use a paddle
or the CW-X keyboard input. If I slow the CW speed down to 3 WPM, there is
enough duration to not truncate the first character. Everything about 5 WPM
gets the first character truncated using break-in.

Change in delay for break-in does not improve the situation.

2013-09-22 Thread Mark Lunday
I read Tim Ellison's article, and I am not sure if I am understanding the
mechanics correctly.

I am currently listening with an inverted L 64 foot vert and 64 foot horiz,
and an off center fed dipole 135 feet long at 64 feet high.

So on the Broadcast AM band on 1630 kHz I can hear two signals. I am
attempting to null one of the stations. No matter where I place the BB I
don't hear any difference.

I tried on 160 and found a point with specific phase and magnitude that
minimized a carrier signal, but it only worked for 15 sec.

Tried on 80 and did not notice any diff.

Am I supposed to point AT the direction to beam steer, and AWAY to null?

I can repro if I use a custom filter width on RX2. As soon as I go back to
a default width like 250, the receivers sync again.

An additional note, even after I restart SDR I still have issues. RCVR 2
seems to have a mind of its own. Even with VOF Synch clicked ON, RCVR 2 is
on a different frequency. The Panadapter for RCVR 2 shows sync with RCVR 1,
but I can hear different signals.

Fixed it by powering off and powering on the Flex 5K. Anyone else seen this
behavior?

[Flexradio] Question about Flex 5000 with second receiver. Receiver 2 antenna selection

2013-09-20 Thread Mark Lunday
On the antenna selection control, why is the receiver 2 limited to ANT 1,
RX2 IN and RX1 TAP? I am running into a config where I would like to be able
to use ANT 2 on RX 2 and ANT 3 on RX1 on 20 meters, but I can't do that. If

[Flexradio] Configuration question - 5000A, one amp, three antennas

2013-09-20 Thread Mark Lunday
I am trying find a way to simplify the configuration in my shack. I want to
be able to select any one of the three antennas to have the amp inline,
while I am able to use one of the other two antennas for monitoring on the
second receiver.

With three outputs on the 5000A, and one input/one output for the amp, I am
struggling on how to do this. Easy if I only want to use one antenna at a
time. But if I want to use one antenna for transmit and one of the others
for receive, how do I do this?

   | ANT 1 OUT ---
   ANT 1
   |
F5K| ANT 2 OUT - AMPLIFIER
  ANT 2
|
| ANT 3 OUT ---
   ANT 3

Looks like six two-way switches, one at the end fo each antenna and one at
each output port of the F5K. Plus two three-way switches. One on each end
of the amplifier. All manual.

Is there a SO2R controller of some sort that does this?

Receiver 2 antenna selection

I wanted to do the same thing. I have 6 antennas. I purchased an Array
Solutions 6-Pack antenna switch. It allows you to connect any of the six
antennas to any TWO radios. So I have my amp between the Flex ANT1 jack and
the 6-Pack (Radio 1). Then I connect the 6-Pack (Radio 2) to the Flex RX2.
The six pack will not allow you to select the same antenna for both radios
(safety interlock) Now I can have any combination.

Later I added a MicroHam Station Master and now have fully automated antenna
selection and can manually override if necessary using the selector switches
on the 6-Pack

I actually just installed this on my station PC and on my work laptop.
I was able to very easily remote control the station using the laptop.
I have a dual 22 display setup that is completely full of windows from
PowerSDR and CommCat. I was very pleased to see that the remote Chrome
display shows the entire display as one continuous display without changing
the original screen resolution (other RDP software messed up my PC
resolution and changed my window layout). On the laptop, I can go full
screen and then just use the mouse to smooth scroll left or right.
This allows me to use all my screens I have setup (log, DX window, QRZ page,
DX ATlas, etc.

I did try SSB but was unable to get the voice audio from my USB headset
on the laptop to modulate the Flex3000. I used the mouse to click the
MOX on Flex but it did not seem my voice audio was making it to the station
PC? Listening to the Flex audio output was fine. I use this headset all
the time for VOIP for work so I know it works. Not sure how to be able to
get mix audio?

Anyone had any luck?

PM If you are thinking of remote control and you have not checked June
2013 QST page 59; may I suggest checking this article.

I installed it per the published instructions; easy to understand with
 step by step instructions.
The best thing about this remote is that it works! Without having to
install TeamViewer, Skype or other software that has been recommended
 by others.

I have full control of my station through the web with my new laptop
running Win7/64 and my old IBM T-43 using XP and 2 gb of memory. Now,
I make excuses to go to internet cafe near the beach to enjoy
 operating remotely.

I operate all digital modes but I don't know why it would not also do
SSB, which I have not try.

 My station:
Flex 5000A (also tried with F1.5K)
 PDSR 2.6
 VAC
 VSPManager
 DDUTil
 JT65-HF JT9.1
 HRD ver 6
 Idiom Press Controller
 Google Remote Desktop
 Desktop computer i7-Win7/64-8 gb
Control via HP laptop or old IBM T43
with installation of Google Remote Desktop

If you don't want to control your Flex radio, then use it to control
you home computer without the added software for your radio.

Now, I love my Flex radios and my computer remote operations.

Credits goes to KB9MNM, Dave Wright (kb9...@gmail.com). Published by
QST Eclectic Technology editor WB8IMY, Steve Ford (wb8...@arrl.org).
 June edition page 59.

Only draw back is that I have to learn and install; how to turn my
 computer and radios remotely.

73, if you like to try my station, I will issue you a temporary
 password to try it.

 Ernest W4EG - DM13ji- San Diego

Ps. HRD also lets you control the beam etc...

Re: [Flexradio] Question about NB1 and NB2, not working as I expect it to

2013-02-20 Thread Mark Lunday
Ahh, I spoke too soon. The noise IS there, I was looking in the wrong
place. It moves.

It's there, 21095 to 21115, and slowly moving up in frequency, about 1 Khz a
minute. And 21975 to 21995, approaching the CW portion of the 15 meter
band. And 21225 to 21245.

Almost square waveform with three small peaks.one at each end and one in the
middle. I tried unplugging all the wall wart switching PS, no luck yet.

On 12 meters, the noise is more spread out, over 30 kHz and not as strong.
It's there on 10, but spread out over 40 kHz.

Present on 17 meters, 15 kHz wide square with two peaks. On 20 it is 10 kHz
wide, but weaker than on 17. No sign on 30 or 40, but I will check tonight.
Will keep searching in the house for the source. What confounds me is that
the source moves. If it was stationary it would make more sense to me.

Thanks, all. I will do some research to find the power supply source. The
interesting thing is that it is NOT present right now, 11:00 AM local.

Re: [Flexradio] Question about NB1 and NB2, not working as I expect it to

2013-02-20 Thread Mark Lunday
Additional data - when I disconnect the antenna input, all is quiet.

On the hex beam, the noise is more pronounced when pointing west.

When I switch to the dipole that is running E/W and broadside N/S, the noise
drops by 10 dBm.

The HiZ 4 square receiving array has more noise when pointing NW directions
and is lowest when pointed SE.

Unfortunately, there are no houses within 500 feet to NW. There ARE high
voltage power lines, but that does not make sense to have a point source
when the lines run from NW to N and NE of the house.

[Flexradio] SSB transmit has 800 Hz tone, no audio

2013-02-20 Thread Mark Lunday
After working several SSB stations today, suddenly I get no output on SSB.

I hooked up another rig to monitor the output of the Flex transmission, and
all I hear is an 800 Hz tone.

A database reset fixes the problem, but I want to find out what happened and
save myself the 2 hours of recreating all of the database settings.

Anyone else ever seen anything like this?

OK, I did factory database reset. I changed microphones. No change

I am going through the audio alignment process, and there is no audio coming
from the first stage at the audio mixer level. No meter movement.

http://helpdesk.flexradio.com/entries/21938803-tx-audio-setup-procedure-by-w

I had to move the MIC level on the SDR console from 35 to 58. This is with
the audio mixer set at maximum. I am able to get back to normal doing this,
but I did not have this problem before, and 58 seems awfully high to have
the mixer.

The audio does not sound distorted, but something is amiss.

I will open a support case

[Flexradio] Question about NB1 and NB2, not working as I expect it to

2013-02-19 Thread Mark Lunday
I don't normally use these.because of what happens.

I have local conditions that are quiet (-130 dBm, But I do have a few RFI
sources (still to be located) which generate a 20 kHz wide hilltop of
noise up to -115 dBm. The noise looks like a camel hump on the panadapter,
and is usually on the CW portion of the 15 meter band down low, and the 12
meter CW portion as well.

When I turn on NB1 to curb that camel hump because I want to hear weak
signals that are affected in that 20 kHz segment, the entire noise floor
drops including that hump, but so do the signals to the point of being
unreadable. And if there is a strong signal above -115 dBm anywhere in the
band, the noise floor pulses to that signal.especially if it is CW. Which
renders the NB1 effect useless.

I see a similar but less pronounced behavior when using NB2.the hump drops
a bit but the noise floor and signals do not drop (good, but not as good in
eliminating the noise with NB1).but the entire band pulses if any CW signals
above -115 dBm are present (obviously not good).

Pre-amp has no impact. Resetting database has no impact.

Using Flex 3000, SDR 2.5.3. I have noticed this in earlier versions of SDR,
which is why I did not use the features. But it has me wondering about
it.and I would like to use it.

2013-02-02 Thread Mark Lunday
Ok I somehow KNEW it was operator error!

Here's what I did

1. Under 2.3.5, export the latest database
2. Upgrade to 2.5.3, call it DB1
3. Run receiver calibration
4. Export the 2.5.3 database, call it DB2
5. Download and install latest SDR Transfer software
6. Run the SDR Transfer Software, pick DB1 as source and DB2 as destination
7. Select data by CATEGORY
8. Click on SELECT ALL CATEGORIES
9. Click on TRANSFER DATA

That's when I got the error that some of the data could not be transferred.

What's interesting is I tried to reproduce the error tonight, and I could
not. *SIGH*

[Flexradio] OK, this old-timer finally upgraded from 2.3.5 to 2.5.3

2013-02-01 Thread Mark Lunday
I thought I would be able to use SDR Data Transfer to transfer my database
settings. Wrong. Must have read that somewhere that it would NOT work, but
forgot.

1. I had already backed up my database from 2.3.5
2. I exported the database from 2.5.3 after doing the calibration
routine. Then I tried to transfer the data from 2.3.5 to 2.5.3. FAIL.
Error message, not designed to take data from 2.3.5. The TX profiles did
not come over. Although it did appear to transfer over the memories.

OK, back to square 1 on setting up the new SDR settings. Which is OK.
Probably good to start fresh.

Luckily I saved screenshots of every setup menu.

I am still hearing just an occasional slight jitter/stutter on high speed
QSK CW. Not as much as before.

I am getting occasional audio pop like the buffer is dropping out. I had
this before and fixed it with a setting, but can't remember how.

[Flexradio] Question about 160 meters and separate preamps with FlexRadios

2012-12-28 Thread Mark Lunday
I am using a HiZ 4 square receiving antenna on 160 meters. I have a pre-amp
in line at the control box in the center of the four verticals. I am using

Question - is anyone else using a pre-amp in this situation? Am I wasting
my time and/or raising the noise floor for no reason? Is anyone else using
a pre-amp with their Flex on 160?

I am wondering..only because the Flex 3000 seems to be a really great
receiver unit for me, and I want to be able to hear the weak signals on 160.

great except every so often (several times a day) the audio gets raspy but
is immediately corrected by shutting off, then quickly turning back on

[Flexradio] Some questions about the NR and NB functions

2012-09-25 Thread Mark Lunday
I have read the threads about the following:
*   Setting AGC-T
* Optimized NR and NB settings

I did some tinkering, but I would appreciate some additional guidance.

What I observed:
*   I have a TS570D and a TS480.  Both have NR1 and NR2 adaptive noise
reduction. I found NR2 to be extremely helpful with pulling out CW signals
on narrow bandwidth. Yes, it's AF DSP.yes, it sounds like the signal is
underwater, but I was able to hear it at the noise level. Very helpful.
* How do I get optimum performance with the NR on the SDR 2.3.5? I
would like to replicate this type of behavior. Maybe I already have it and
I am hearing weak CW signals that would not even be audible on the 570 or
480, but I am so accustomed to the Flex receiver that I just take it for
granted as automatic?
* When I use the NB to reduce noise, I see the floor drop but the
signals also disappear. I also hear the floor jump from a strong nearby CW
signal that makes it peak.

Any suggestions/thoughts/observations appreciated. Thanks.

[Flexradio] How I love thee, flex radio, let me count the ways

2012-08-17 Thread Mark Lunday
D64K, 2200 UTC, 20 meter CW, big guns everywhere, wall of EU stations. Flex
3000, hex beam, 600 watts, from North Carolina. I wade in, no fear! I need
D64, and they have been there a week already, I should be able to do this.

CW Skimmer helps me see where the op is listening. He's running 35 WPM,
90-120 QSO per hour, he is very good op.

I start watching to see which EU stations he is responding too, I see his
pattern, listening up 4.5 kHz and slowly creeping up. I find a valley in
the panadapter where no stations are calling, I call. He works a DL
station. I see him finish, I find another valley slightly higher. BAM. IN
THE LOG.

Start to finish from sitting down at the rig, firing up the amp, seeing the
pattern, and working him, 10 minutes. How long with an older style
transceiver? Not sure, but it would be a lot longer!

THANK YOU, FLEX! You have not made it easy for me; what you have done is
facilitated my skills and enabled me to use the tactics I have learned over
the past 35 years of hamming, so that I can work more DX.

[Flexradio] Upgrading to 2.3.5 from 2.2.3

2012-07-04 Thread Mark Lunday
1. I can't seem to locate the launch icon for the driver, to set the
priority for FLEX. Can someone plz point me to this location? It's not on
desktop, and I don't see it under C:\user\My Documents\Flex Firmware
2. If there's no way to import the database from 2.2.3, then I need to
recreate my transmit profiles?

2012-06-10 Thread Mark Lunday
Looking for a 2 position switch for coax input, controllable via software on
the PC (which I will be connected into via remote session).

I am not looking for a switch at the antenna (like the excellent Array
Solutions RatPak), but rather an antenna switch in the shack.with either USB
connectivity.

[Flexradio] Suddenly, CW Skimmer freq is off by 4-6 KHz with the indicated decode freq

2012-05-13 Thread Mark Lunday
Flex 3000, SDR 2.2.3, Skimmer 1.6, DDUTIL 2.0.5.20, VSP Manager 1.0.1.017

Everything aligned perfectly until this past week, when I noticed that
Skimmer was decoding signals 4 to 6 kHz above the actual frequency readout.

Never seen this before.

The Skimmer frequency readout matches the Flex 3000 readout, so it must be
something with the data going from the rig to the Skimmer. I tried changing
VSP and DDUTIL, no luck.

Re: [Flexradio] band conditions

2012-04-07 Thread Mark Lunday
Kinda weird. Relatively quiet on the higher bands for long-distance DX, but
tonight 3 hours after sunset on East Coast, worked E51M on 15, FK8DD and
A35XG on 12, and FK8CE on 10. My QTH is North Carolina, hex beam at 42
feet, 500 watts, Flex 3000. Can't remember the last time I worked any
long-distance DX (5000 miles) on 10 meters into Pacific that late after
sunset (3 hours after sunset). My electronic log says 1982, but I have some
paper logs from West Coast operation in 1979 when I was able to work JA
around midnight Pacific on 10. But that was 1979, and I was right near the
ocean...

For 12 meters, last time I worked Pacific that late after sunset was in
2010.

So...something is happening, just not sure what it is.

Paul, what are your operating parameters?

[Flexradio] weird noise source popping up

2012-01-27 Thread Mark Lunday
Looks like a square waveform but the top level appears like a shallow w
with three distinct peaks and two valleys

Reoccurs ever 130 KHz.

Most noticeable on the hex beam at 40 feet when pointed east.

10 meters -130 dBm against a noise floor of 0135 dBm
12 meters -125 dbm against a noise floor of -140 dBm
15 meters -110 dbm against a noise floor of -135 dBm
17 meters -115 dBm against a noise floor of -145 dBm
20 meters -125 dbm against a noise floor of -135 dBm

When switching to the inverted L the noise drops almost to the noise floor.

Anyone familiar with any type of device that would generate this pattern of
noise? Neighbor's house is 200 feet east if hex beam. 200 kV lines running
E/W of antenna at a distance of 300 yards.

This is fairly recent, in the last week, and I ignored it because I thought
it was isolated, but noticed it when trying to work TN2T as I could not copy
the DX.

Mark:

Over the past few months I have been logging and tracking power line noise,
which turns out to be a composite of power line noise PLUS a variety of
local noise sources...

I have seen some noise humps across the baseband (these come and go), also

have seen a few different wave forms travel up and down the band(s). I think

some of this is spread spectrum, some is computer or power supply EMI, and
others remain mysterious.

Your noise floor is probably dropping on the Inv-L because it is less
efficient and is not picking up the high-freq signals as well as your hex
beam.

You may wish to keep track of date/time, temperature, humidity, and other
factors...see if there is any pattern to when the noise appears. Also, if
you have rain, does the offending signal change?

If you can make a WAV or WMV file of your noise, I can compare it to
signatures I have been logging here.

Now the VFO on the SDR jumps around on 80 meters every 0.5 seconds. Cant

[Flexradio] DX Lab Commander not working with DDUtil and SDR anymore

2012-01-27 Thread Mark Lunday
Anyone else had DX Lab Commander suddenly stop working? If I change the VFO
on the SDR, Commander follows. But Commander won't change the VFO on SDR
anymore.

SDR 2.2.3, Flex 3000

DDUtil 1.8.7.01

Commander 9.5.3

I noticed today that Spot Collector was not changing the VFO when I selected
a spot to tune on. So I checked Commander and that's when I uncovered this
behavior. Everything working perfectly for the past 18 months.
