Within the last two weeks for no reason that I can determine, the behavior of

   1. The title bar no longer appears.

   2. When I focus on a child file, the Application bar appears above the

   3. When I choose _anything_ in the .book window, the Application bar

   4. When I focus on a child file, the Application bar reappears above
the menu bar. This shifts everything down.

Seeing this oh, say, a hundred times a day is _very_ frustrating and a _lot_ of

I want the interface to:

   1. Display the title bar.

   1. Not display the Application bar.

   2. Display the icons from the Application bar on the menu bar and to the

Used to be that you could restore FrameMaker to its defaults by
closing the application, deleting or renaming maker.ini, and
restarting. Does that still work in FM11?

TidyImport. This is a free download for all FrameScript 6 customers.

Since the CleanImport client is no longer available (and was not updated for
the current FrameMaker releases), we, at ElmSoft, have written a FrameScript 6
App that performs the same functionality. In addition, we have updated its
functionality for releases through FrameMaker 11.

In short, TidyImport imports selected formats (and styles) from a template
document into another document (or all the selected documents in a book), while
removing formats (and styles) that are not present in the template document.
These formats and styles include paragraph formats, character formats, table
formats, variable formats, cross-reference formats,condition formats,master
pages, reference pages,color definitions,math definitions,Conditional Build
Expressions (Fm10 or greater),Object Styles(Fm11 or greater).

See the FrameScript 6 App Library Web page for more information.

For more information about these scripts see the web site

Sadly, no. They don't document their applications anymore.
