RE: Any way to disable hover bubbles?

Ok, I too had an issue w/ these annoying tooltips. I have set the Tooltips
option to Hidden and have even closed and restarted FM, but I am STILL
getting these dratted tooltips, and they are still hanging around for an
annoying few seconds even after moving the mouse. How can this be? Is it a
bug in FM 9.0 that the tooltips preferences are not recognized?

Is there any way to disable those annoying hover bubbles that appear any
time your mouse crosses a control or input field? They obscure what is
underneath them, and worse, depending on what you're doing or what the
bubbles are displayed over, they won't go away for several seconds even
after the mouse is moved.

Is there any way to disable those annoying hover bubbles that appear any time
your mouse crosses a control or input field? They obscure what is underneath
them, and worse, depending on what you?re doing or what the bubbles are
displayed over, they won?t go away for several seconds even after the mouse is
moved.

Frame needs to stop helping me to death? it?s becoming more and more a
Microsoft product with every passing day?

I'll check tonight on a Win 7 system and get back to you. Other than that, I
have no idea about how to get rid of them.

You can change Tool Tips in the interface settings.
Got to File Preferences Interface...
In the General section, you'll find Tool Tips. The options are Normal, Fast,
and Hidden.

Hope this helps! They were annoying me, too!

Subject: Any way to disable hover bubbles?

Framemaker 10, Windows 7 64-bit.

Is there any way to disable those annoying hover bubbles that appear any
time your mouse crosses a control or input field? They obscure what is
underneath them, and worse, depending on what you're doing or what the
bubbles are displayed over, they won't go away for several seconds even
after the mouse is moved.

Frame needs to stop helping me to death. it's becoming more and more a
Microsoft product with every passing day.

You can change Tool Tips in the interface settings.
Got to File > Preferences > Interface...
In the General section, you'll find Tool Tips. The options are Normal, Fast,
and Hidden.

Hope this helps! They were annoying me, too!
