Yes, there were two t.ocean1 reports. Sadly, you'd neglected to mention
that you are/were using trident tileset, not default amplio. Made it
hard to reproduce

Resolution posted at:

URL: http://bugs.freeciv.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=39388

The ancient bug had been fixed in trunk months ago.

Tested against all 5 tilesets.

Committed S2_1 revision 13006.

3: Don't have graphics tags or for technology None.

Still don't have graphics tags for tech Nichts -- I don't understand
how/why that's happening. Thanks for (indirectly) confirming:

URL: http://bugs.freeciv.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=39389

Combined with (PR#39386) cleanup tilespec.c in hopes of debugging recent
reports of tile load failures in certain configurations.

...

Committed S2_1 revision 13003.

 but there
is a port conflict for civserver, I will look into in asap.

Sorry, don't see a port conflict anywhere?

3: Trying default/script.lua.
0: bind failed: Die Adresse wird bereits verwendet

(We really need to fix those partially translated LOG_FATAL messages.)

This is a new and different bug. Is it related to your errors/warnings
in (PR#39400) 2.1 beta tolua doesn't compile on unspecified Linux platform?

I did get a bind failed/address in use error, I don't know why.

Currently trunk runs and compiles ok, and beta4 svn doesn't compile
because of lt.po, so I can't test.

Re: [Freeciv-Dev] (PR#39413) Effects-ize the calender

2007-06-26 Thread Ulrik Sverdrup

URL: http://bugs.freeciv.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=39413

Hello freeciv-dev

I have worked on this yesterday and today and I'm mostly done with the
first parts. So far I have coded against trunk and written up some
documentation for the changes. I'll clean it up and post the work when
I have time on thursday.

What I have is just using effects to be able to customize the
calendar. Converting to only turns will wait until later; as it is
currently that would require a replay of the full game to load a
savegame and calculate the current year (know when the space module
techs were found etc) and such hackery. To avoid that, I'm only doing
this relatively minor change.

## Change summary ##

Add `startyear` server option
Add `YearGte` requirement type year greater or equal
Add `Slow_Down_Timeline` effect to slow down normal calender
the old slow down renamed to `Slow_Down_Timeline_2`
Modify `game_next_year` in game.c
Modify default ruleset and documentation

I marked the offending strings in lt.po as fuzzy to fix compilation.
