Re: [Audyssey] MOTA Arcade Mode
Hi all, I would prefer using standard mode. When I die, I may want to come back, change a few settings and then play again. [Audyssey] Where should I send this?
I have completed version 3 of the games pack and haven't even had a chance to send out version 2--I found a goldmine of new games. I'm proud to say to you all that at last I have stumbled upon a free accessible checkers game for the PM, which will also work on any other PPC with jaws on it. I found many others, but that's the best one. I know that some of you have offered, so just send me an ftp address or, if possible, I can attach the pack to my e-mail message. It's about fifteen megs though so that probably won't work. I've beaten my head against a wall over this web hosting thing--Time Warner claims not to block ports, and yet no one can see my site even though I know that they are being directed to the right IP address. Maybe I should set up on port 8080? Anyway, it's been frustrating and I want to share the wealth with this community, so just let me know where I can put the games pack and I'll send it on--and worry about my own website later I guess. Hi, Well, as for question one Nicol has two different e-mail addresses I know of. One is a mobile phone e-mail address and the other is a standard e-mail. So that explains why the different identities. As for the second question I am assuming he is sending these games we'd like to play messages out because he really wants to play them. Re: [Audyssey] MOTA Arcade Mode
Hi, It is pretty hard to say at this point what bugs will or won't happen when I release beta 5. The new Genesis Engine is written in a different programming language, uses different APIs, and every language can handle the same kind of code slightly differently. Most of the time the same programming logic works regardless of the programming language, but I've seen cases where code that is almost identical blows up when being ported. Given that arcade mode has been an area of considerable difficulty my consern is problems may return if I proceed with including it in the engine, but I am not absolutely certain there will or won't be problems either way. Hi Tom I'd go with if arcade is going to present alot of difficulty then don't worry about it. The engine you are working on sounds great As for MOTA if arcade becomes not an option then so be it. One is a mobile phone e-mail address and the other is a standard e-mail. So that explains why the different identities. As for the second question I am assuming he is sending these games we'd like to play messages out because he really wants to play them. Seams simple enough. Smile.
