Unzip the sound pack, and then go into the folder where all the sounds are.
Select all with control A, and paste them into the vipmud sounds folder on your
hard drive in program files.

Re: [Audyssey] WII Bowling

2010-07-25 Thread Jim Kitchen

Hi Thomas,

May I ask, how do you pick up the spares inWII Bowling without sighted help?

- Original Message -
Hi Jim,
There is that. Using the Wii motion remotes are much more realistic in
playing any of the Sports Resorts games. They are all more or less
accessible on their own, but getting through that start up screen is
practically impossible from a blind user's point of view. I've never
been able to get through those initial screens without sighted help
either. However, once the games are actually started I can do pretty
well and hold my own against a sighted player.
It's too bad Nintendo didn't put more thought into there startup
screens as games for Play Station, PSP, XBox are more user friendly as
you can memorize where things are and they have sounds to let you know
where you are in the menus for the most part. I wish Nintendo would
have just put in a basic menu like that in the Wii Sports Resorts
games.

[Audyssey] aurifi

2010-07-25 Thread michael barnes
man this game rock. i just got it yesterday and i really enjoy. like
someone said when you go into the game you got to hit the home button
three times to shut down the voice over. the reason is so you can have
full control of the game. i'm totally blind and i know that this game
is the first ever audio only game for the iphone. their are some games
that do work with the screen reader on the phone. and their are some
that have it's own voice. but the thing is some of those games still
require you to have some sight. because some the stuff is not label in
the games. so if i was gonna to tell any blind person about any
accessible game for the iphone i will only tell them about this game.
because on this game there is no visual stuff at all and it have it own voice.

Re: [Audyssey] Short messages

2010-07-25 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
Hello all, I think when it comes to short messages, one needs to
consider what constitutes a useless short message, VS a concise short
message. For example, if someone asks, where do I get Troopanum, the
short answer would be www.bscgames.com. However if someone then replies
with nothing but, thanks, then that is not good.

So let's all step back and use our heads for smart posting rather than
useless arguing.

Many thanks.

Re: [Audyssey] WII Bowling

2010-07-25 Thread Dakotah Rickard
The game channel is actually pretty easy to find with the plus minus
method. Wii sports is easy to recognize as it has a sort of piano
theme with ocean waves in the background. Then, all you have to do is
press the start game button, which makes a ding of a g above middle c,
sort of like the old windows ding.

Once you're in the game itself, just hit a and b together, then you
can use the d pad for most functions. The only function that seems to
be inaccessible via d pad is the change me button from within a game,
so if you want to change miis, you have to quit and restart, but
that's really not such a hastle.

Some other wii games aren't so accessible. Wii play, for example, is
pretty much totally inaccessible, but both sports games have given me
quite a bit of entertainment.\\Signed:

Hi Charles,
I don't know. That list of names really reminds me of the kind of
comics in Mad Magazine such as Stuperman and Star Blek. Some of those
comics were so totally warped they had me rolling on the floor
laughing until I cried sometimes. They were absolutely, totally,
ludicrous with some of the kinds of stuff they did.
For example, Stuperman was this really dorky Superman knock-off with a
big hole in one of his boots, a big toe sticking out, his outfit
looked wrinkled and warn inside out, and some of the stuff he did in
the comics was nuts. In one comic he tried to help this farmer milk
his cows, and after he couldn't get any milk the farmer informed him
that was one of his bulls. It was totally insane stuff like that which
was beyond nuts.
In Star Blek they made a spoof of the classic Star Trek characters
such as Captain Jerk, Mr. Sparks, Dr. Real McCoy, and so on. I
remember this one comic where Snotty tries to transport Captain Jerk
back to the Enterprise and every time he does Captain Jerk kept
getting screwed up during transport. Things like his hands, feet,
arms, legs, etc would keep getting put in the wrong place. In one
transport his head ended up sticking out of Captain Jerk's butt. As I
said those comics were absolutely nuts.
Now, given that list of game characters I posted to the list could you
imagine an RPG game based on those characters. That would be
absolutely ludicrous. It would be like a game straight out of Mad
Magazine that's for sure. I don't think Kingdom of Loathing could
compare in terms of absolutely warped content. Lol!

Mysteries
of Thomas Weird. Hmm. I wonder if this will bring about something really
odd in the form of another one of those, and I quote, games we'd like to
 play.

Subject: [Audyssey] Funny Hero/Villain Names

Hi everyone,
As some of you might know I have been working on trying to create some
super hero and super villain names for future USA Games titles. So I
went online and found some random name generators for ideas. Some of
the results are hilariously funny. The names presented here are
randomly selected by the generator. The funny comments are mine. Enjoy
reading and laughing as you see this list of randomly generated names
in no particular order.

Toxic Wind---A super villain with a seriously bad gas problem. Kills
his victims by farting them to death.
Mistress Lad---The world's first cross-dressing super hero. Can't make
up his mind if he is a boy or a girl.
Cyborg Alien---An unknown alien super villain who was assimilated by
the Borg, and tried an unsuccessful solo career on Star Trek Next
Generation.
Girl Man---It's a boy. It's a man. No it's Girl Man. The world's one
and only she-male super hero.
Rush Man---A Flash wannabe with absolutely no imagination what so ever.
Atomic Gut---A super villain who ate too much bad Mexican food, and
now suffers from a chronic case of diarrhea. And blames his problem on
Taco Bell.
Brain Freeze---A Mr. Freeze wannabe who kills his victims by freezing
their brains, and then storing it in a glass jar.
Killer Cat---Mighty Mouse's long lost enemy. Was cut from the Mighty
Mouse cartoons because they said he was too scary for children under
the age of 13.
Volt Girl---The only female super villain that can bring some spark
into her arch enemy's life. Kind of like Superman's nemesis Live Wire,
but with a lot less class.
Crazy ClownSo you thought the Joker was bad? Well, Batman be ware
Crazy Clown is here. He might look like Bozo, but he is just another
crazy freak running around the streets of Gotham City these days armed
with a machinegun and a clown mask.
Giant Gut-This super villain kills his enemies by sitting on them. He
is so fat the earth shakes when he walks.
- Viral Bullet-This villain is armed with a super weapon that shoots
infected bullets into his victims. Only the super hero, First Aid, can
save them from Viral Bullet.
Bite Shot---This super hero can catch bullets with his teeth. Wow,
wonder how he does that?
\Fake Fraud---This super villain somehow goes around faking frauds?
Isn't that a fraud in of itself?
Fish Grenade-Aquaman's long lost enemy. This super villain blows up
his enemies by using underwater grenades.
Xenofrost---A really creepy girl from outer space that likes freezing
people to death. Only Star Fire can save the day this time
Blue Plague---A less known super villain related to Black Plague. Only
not quite as deadly. See him in the next adventure of the Power
Rangers.
Sham Fly---Related to the human fly or so you think.
Vibrogirl---The only woman super hero that can vibrate and shake crime
lords unconscious.
Giggle Toad---This super hero laughs enemy super villains unconscious.
Hahahaha! Ribbit!
Yellow Ice---This super villain freezes his enemies for before peeing on
them.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this crazy list of names as I did.
Definitely looks like a list of goofball knock-offs of DC and Marvel
comic heroes and villains. Lol!

Re: [Audyssey] WII Bowling

2010-07-25 Thread Brice Mellen
Lol I just guess, usually though if you stand off to 1 side and then curve
the ball, like I go all the way to the right, then I go 2 to 3 clicks over
to the left and then curve my ball to the left when I throw usually I can
strike everytime or spare.

I wish Nintendo would
have just put in a basic menu like that in the Wii Sports Resorts
games.
